So disappointed purchased a dress off them in August at shop in Liverpool worn it to a wedding September only had dress on for roughly about 4 hours bobbled all over dress and frayed emailed website when returned home not very helpful told me to ring shop managed to get hold of them after few attempts told me to send dress and receipt back so they could send it off for inspection cost me 12 pound never heard off them for about 5 weeks got hold of them they made some excuse about not having my email which I gave them and put it on my letter with dress so they promised to send it off asap then 3 days later had email saying looked at dress not refunding me or sending new dress has not manufacturer fault says must of rubbed dress but bobbling all over dress sides back front top and bottom so emailed them back saying not happy paid a lot of money bobbling all over dress and label inside says made in China awful company will be contacting trading standards and hope more people do as well never order anything again very poor standard of clothing
If you plan on purchasing from their site be sure to know your size before purchasing... I purchased a dress and returned it back because it did not fit... They are holding my money has a credit! Their dresses do not fit me correctly & now I have a $120 credit to a store that I NEVER plan on purchasing from again. They will not refund my money due to their "STRICT Return Policy". Their customer service is like robots... they say the same thing over & over and are unwilling to help you. I will never purchase from this store again.
Bought a dress online. Before trying it on I made sure to shower and put on NO chemicals afterwards. No lotion, deodorant, perfume, Nothing. Tried on the dress slowly and carefully for a total of 5 minutes tops. Returned the dress for an EXCHANGE. Long story short, dress arrived two days before I had to contact them. Told me the dress had just arrived when I had delivery confirmation that it had arrived two days earlier. And was told the dress was soiled and that I had removed the security tags. All lies. Nothing was on the dress since I was very careful and had it on for five minutes at most and all security tags, (which there was only ONE) were intact when I returned the dress. Please be careful.
Worst company, worst experience, very bad customer service. Bad quality, rude. Garments bad quality... I can only say that the 5* reviews I believe are fake as until I looked now I can't believe the amount of bad reviews they have. At least I know I'm not alone in how badly I was treated.

I see your reviews and I can understand why the ratings are low because I've ordered before and I have to say, I like ordering from eBay "House of CB USA" I have a great experience but I also did online store purchase and tried to do an exchange, this took place about a month ago. I have never had such a bad experience by a person who did nothing but yell, and dare to tell me that's too bad we can't do anything, she was so unprofessional and very loud that I stopped ordering directly from the online store. I do order from EBay, the items may have faults but because of the great customer service I keep coming back for more orders. Customer service and professionalism is very important whether I could get the exchange or not I would have understood, but this questions how or what type of people House of CB USA is hiring
First of all i received my items in an old printer box! Not beautiful packaging as u wud expect for the price, then after 2 wears the seams gad holes in due to poor sewing that had missed in parts and frayed piping around the waist, i questioned this and to my horror thet started questioning me! No apology or refund or exchange, i ended up just sewing them myself! Terrible customer service and build quality!
Got a heart condition, suffered angina which effected me for 3 week and still ongoing now but mild. The company is refusing a full refund, despite me sending the dress special delivery. I am pursuing this further! Disappointing service,
I have a great experience with House of CB I have sent the items back for refund on Friday, got my refund on Tuesday! Amazing customer service and positively surprised after reading all the bad comments...

From reading the reviews on-line and my own terrible experience with House of CB, I would dare to say that once you buy a product from this company, your chances of being able to return and get a refund are basically very small. Their policy to refuse to exchange or refund any item that they deem "soiled" or "damaged" seems to be the standard reason. Interestingly on their returns form they give terrible advice to their customers:
They say:
"avoid using carriers such as DHL, UPS, FEDEX etc."
They don't give a reason why you should avoid using these reputable firms...
Furthermore they say:
Please use your local postal service using a signed-for service. Please mark the outside of the packages as "Returned Goods" and declare the value as "VERY LOW".
Surely, you should declare the real value of the product being dispatched.
Royal Mail guidelines are:
Royal Mail Signed For® items are covered against loss or damage up to the sum of £50 or the value of the item, whichever is lower. Compensation for valuables, such as money and jewellery is not available on this service.
In the event of an item being delivered but where no signature is obtained, you can claim for a refund amounting to the difference between the 1st Class postage and the cost of Royal Mail Signed For® 1st Class.
Valuables (money and jewellery) and items of greater value should be sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed which is a tracked and secure service.
Surely, House of CB London should encourage their clients to use the correct "Special Delivery Guaranteed" service which would offer them some insurance protection if items are lost or damaged.
KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IS ALL I CAN SAY!
Purchased the 'Sathea' dress from this company back in June 2016. When it arrived I realised the dress was unwearable due to its transparency - the photos and description of the product on their website did not show how see-through the material was. I considered returning the dress but since I needed it for an upcoming event I decided to inquire by email about whether there was any underwear I could wear with the dress that would render it suitable to wear in public.
I received an e-mail stating that the models in the photoshoot were wearing nude nipple covers and nude underwear available on their website. I therefore proceeded to buy said products. When I received the items and tried them on with the dress it was still completely unwearable. Obviously this did not match the result I was expecting based on their statement and the image of the product online. I complained, stating that the image was highly misleading/ had been digitally retouched, attached a photo as evidence and demanded a refund. They outright refused, stating that the dress didn't meet their 'return policy'.
However I sent an enquiry regarding the suitable underwear for this product within the 14 day return policy time period and I removed the security tag as they assured the nipple covers would not be visible under the dress - point is, the dress was still in perfect condition. I decided to send the dress back anyway as legally I am within my consumer rights (short-term right to reject). They still refused to give me a refund, completely ignoring UK Trading Standards and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
3 months later I still have not received my refund and they are no longer responding to my emails. I have contacted Citizens Advice, reported them to trading standards and am now in the process of trying to get my money back through the chargeback scheme. Such a waste of time.
Even without the horrendous costumer service and unlawful practices of this company, I wasn't impressed with the quality of the products either. Also, the company is based in Hong Kong, which isn't made clear on the website.
This must be why CB don't offer Paypal as a payment option. Paypal would hold your payment until you get a response or your product. CB don't want this outcome and simply don't respond to emails and keep your money. Most reputable retailers will offer Paypal as a payment option is it offers their customers protection from dodgy deals and secure payments. Its ok if I lived near a store but I shop online internationally. Sadly I wont go back to CB after reading they are based in Hong Kong - not for the hundreds of pounds the are charging for their products.
I purchased a dress and the House of Cons said that it was a final sale. The sleeves on the dress were sewn in a manner where you cannot lift your arms at all. They were long sleeves and not accurately depicted online as being stitched in a manner that does not allow you to wear the dress. At best, you can try to painfully get into it with your arms at your sides, take a photo, and get out of it. This place is garbage. I was so disappointed and never doing business here again. They are crooks.
LOL no hunty is not a joke! This company sucks in measurement. Apparently they don't know how to measure properly. Their clothes don't fit according the measurement size.
I've been ordering from House of CB (previously Celeb Boutique) for years, and can only remember one time I had an issue which was when I made an order for 6 items but only 5 arrived because the 6th one was out of stock. I received an apology and a refund for the money paid.
I'm absolutely shocked at all these negative reviews, and I'm definitely side-eyeing who or where they could be coming from.
From delivery time, packaging, customer service to the quality of the clothes, everything has been on point in my experience.
These negative reviews are so suspect. They aren't even negative, they are VICIOUS! LOL, what a joke.

As a first time customer, I sent a letter of apology asking for a little leniency due to some extenuating family circumstances, on exchanging a jumper a few days after their 14 day policy. I wanted to exchange for a larger size, NOT a refund or return! The jumper was still in its original state with the product protection tag still intact. My request was denied. I do understand business policies, but I also understand that being a little lenient sometimes to real life situations that happen to real life people can go a long way with a business' reputation. Nothing is ever lost, only lifetime, loyal customers are gained!

Ordered a dress for my step fathers funeral and it arrived with a hole in the armpit. Customers service was awful, no contact number, only let's you contact them by email. Their response was send it back so we can assess the item and when I informed them this would leave me without a dress for the funeral their response was "it's out policy". I told them that I'll have to stitch the hole for the funeral and then send it to them to which the replied "if repaired or worn we can not offer you a refund or replacement". Just charming
I ordered from this site but returned an item in perfect condition but they are saying it is damaged and they can't issue me a refund! They are lying so that they can keep my money. I will place 500 complaints if I have to. The customer service is terrible and they didn't even offer me credit! Never again will I order from them!
I bought a dress for a party which cost £79.00 but their staff is so incompetent they sent me a wrong color and caused huge disappointing because I could not attend the partyI have been waiting to go to, there is no free returns service so I had to pay £11.00 for postage fee for a mistake I haven't made and its now almost 6 weeks and I still have not received my refund. I have tried to speak to a manager numerous time via email but they ignore my request EVERY TIME. IT WAS MY FIRST AND THE LAST TIME BUYING FROM THEM.
I ordered the 'Sameh' dress for my gradball. It was a lovely dress but cost £129 and the wrap over front was so high that it showed my knickers and the zip was much too thick for the dress and bulged out. I had to stitch the front and the zip in order to fix it.
I emailed house of CB about these issues and never got a reply.
