Because we had care trouble and running late we needed to find a hotel on short notice. Thankfully I was connected to Eugene who found a perfect place for us to stay. We were so exhausted from our trip rip and trouble and Eugene was so understanding and pleasant! Now we can get a good night's sleep and complete our trip in the morning.
Barely could understand lady on the phone. Asked 3 times confirming the hotel was for Valentine, NE. Each time she promised it was "oh yes sir" "same hotel". Get confirmation for hotel in Omaha, NE. Asked for refund and got transferred (of course) right away. These guys are scammers and worthless, Do NOT give your CC # to them! Going on 1 month of trying to resolve this,

Called to make a reservation due to my grandmothers death. Traveling from another state to New York. Asked if I could call directly to the Marriott by Courtyard in Yonkers and was told by this operator that I couldn't and all reservations went through them. After he took ALL my info and assured me I could cancel if I needed to at least 24 hours prior to check in. He charged my card stating that I needed to pay now to secure the dates I needed. So I did. When I received my email confirmation it was to the Hamilton Inn and Suites in Yonkers. I called back and spoke to a Matthew who was kind enough to look into it. I was told my card was charged and that I did not have a refund policy. What refund policy? I was NEVER offered or told that when making the reservation that I thought was at The Marriott by the courtyard on Exec Blvd in Yonkers in the first place! Matthew told me I could not speak to a supervisor because they were busy. Well I'm important too! Stressing out about by grandmother's funeral and then this. He didn't even offer condolences. Told me he would write up a ticket to see if I can get a refund! I called back within 30 minutes of realizing all of this. The so called ticket number submitted is: *******. All he had to do in the very beginning was to be honest and explain everything to me. Isn't that his job? But I now know your company call center is a scam. I had to make the correct reservation directly with the Marriott by the Courtyard myself which I wish I had done in the first place. Now I'm out of over $1000. 00 because you won't refund me for a room I will not use. I was taken advantage of by a person with no honor which is a representative of your company. I demand a refund. And to make matters worse he misspelled my email address!

Michelle is very knowledgeable and polite, but her accent is very strong and I had a lot of difficulty understanding what she was telling me. We did make the reservation, but it took longer than I wish it had.

I talked to Emmanuel when I called in to make my reservation and he was patient and professional. I input the wrong number from my card 4 times, but Emmanuel walked me through 2 processes before it dawned on me that I was not given my card#, but another number. Through it all Emmanuel kept his composure and I was able to schedule my room. Thank you again Emmanuel for giving me Outstanding customer service and you were patient with me. The hotel planner site did not convey number in our party or that we needed connecting rooms to the hotel. The hotel put us in non connecting rooms. Also the hotel refused to give me a receipt. And contacting about issues is convoluted and seemingly impossible.

Agent was very misleading. I assumed he was with Grove Park Inn instead of Expedia. Did not explain cancellation policy that was highly unusual. I told him I might need to cancel if I couldn't get spa reservations for that date, which turned out to be the case. Looks like I am out $2000 because cancellation policy requires documentation of illness, weather, etc to cancel.

I told the representative who pretended to be a Marriot employee that I did not want a nonrefundable reservation twice and she ignored it and went ahead and gave me a nonrefundable reservation. Then it took an hour of my time to try and cancel the reservation and receive a refund and I still don't know the outcome.

I called a Hilton phone number to book a reservation at the Hampton Inn and Suites in west Amarillo for this evening, specifically making sure it was the one we stayed at 2 weeks ago and mentioning a favorite restaurant close by. He said no problem he had our record and knew the restaurant. When we arrived to check in there was no reservation for us but the desk person there was able to determine that our reservation was at a new Hilton property called Spark about 2 miles along I-40. About an hour later we were able to locate the Spark and checked in. No confirmation message had been received; only this request for an evaluation of the service. Disappointed indeed!

Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
