I have been to support for my sit'es problems for some time, and i'm actually going back steps in the resolution.
Your tech support operators cut customers off when they know that they are going to get a bad review in the survey. Happens all the time. The support staff just now was called Athul. Most of the time they don't even read what the issue is and you have to reiterate it 20 minutes into the chat.
Perfect domain manager, and everything at finger tip
Can't even get into site. You told me that me by email that starinthestorm.org is my domain but it seems to mean nothing. Have paid for this site for months and never used it.

Chose hostgator for price and recommendations many years ago. Would not choose it now. Service has really gone down. Ive had numerous issues in the past couple of years, which were not resolved, or needed several calls to resolve. Each call takes about an hour or longer to resolve or be told that there's nothing that can be done. Have to constantly talk to people who don't understand and don't speak english very well, reading off a script and just unwilling to give the phone to someone who could either explain something to me or resolve my issues. Ive also lost 80$ in conversion fees because some dumb idiot charged my account without my authorization, and i was issued a refund at a different conversion rate than when i was charged.
Absolutely horrible service, horrible company. Im only here because I really don't have the time to migrate to a different service. NEVER recommending it to anyone, including my clients for whom I do web dev
I had a lot of problems with integrating my domain on Porkbun to hosting my website on HostGator. I found HostGator support not very helpful. I'm looking forward to my contract to be up so I can move my hosting to Porkbun.
I have been on messaging with support for 2 weeks now with 2 different technicians and not getting any results. My SSL is not working for my site and it's honestly frustrating to pay for a service and not have it work.
Good hosting and better support system for customers
I've been with hostgator for a very long time. Whenever I have had a problem, they have been very easy to contact and easy to work with.
Email issue re-occurred and support isn't focusing on the problem. I've tried all of their suggestions and told to wait 24 hours for resolution. I went through the same issue last December and it took 8 days to resolve. I would think that they kept records of how it was repaired the last time and fix again. Very frustrated!
I wanted to choose a shorter domain contract and I cannot do it without chat or a phone call. I went I chat twice but the time it was taking to get a new contract time was excessive. I could not wait and asked the person who I chatted with to email me with the new price for one year and he/she did not email me with the details. So I am just renewing for three years. Your chats take too long. Guess I should have just called.
The number of cyber attacks on the files is too high i am not happy at all, am sure there are many people out there facing the same issue
