Because it's renowned but it's the worst now, the design is worst their customer support is not helpful and the resources are not as promised

I chose HostGator because of it's reputation and value..

Extremely Painful and stressful setting up and securing information in site and account. Very dissatisfied with service, had to call and chat with many reps.

When i registered my domain you sold my information. I received 15-30 calls a day for weeks offering me web design, logos, marketing etc. I used a private number which I shouldn't have, and I know it came from you. When I called in, they gave me an email to write to which was an invalid email. Next time give users an option to OPT out. Unacceptable

I don't like how you splash the screen with an ad for the private domain feature. I have to look at it every time I log in and that doesn't feel right.

The message Us box will not close. It is blocking the page.

I got an alarming warning on email that says my payments are not registering. So I'm trying to fix that if in fact it's really a problem. The email came from this address: *******@movr.co.jp

The migration process has been a pain in my hearth, mind and head. I trust the representative that FIRST chat with me and eveything has been a mess since then. I´m abput to LOSE all my clients because of the delay and problems associated to this migration :( (MIG-5191)

You raised my reseller hosting by 33% without notice. Poor business after over 20 years with you!

My hosting plan changed. I purchased web hosting that included website builder. Now, with the change, I only have 3 sites when it use to be unlimited websites.

They say this is the best host i am still a beginner so i wanted to learn here.

I do not like the fact that the Message Us box comes up obstructing the interface and will not go away.

My daughter did research and read great things about HostGator.
