I regret choosing HostGator. For two days I am not able to do anything on my dashboard because I'm getting an error message "something went wrong, please try again later". It has been two days now, I chatted numerous times with customer care representatives, I spoke numerous times on the phone, they opened a case two days ago, I received emails telling me the case has been accelerated and the engineering team is working to fix the problem, and so far after two days nothing has been done. I'm seriously considering to transfer to another hosting company.

I have been with Hostgator since 2016 and all of my websites have been down at some point. Over 30 Domains and Malware all the time.
I;ve had an escalated case open for several days now... I'm not able to access my domains admin panels... I get a 404 error and when I transferred my site and domains to you it wasn't done correctly and old DNS info is still in there. My site is only half working, many images are broken... moving to hostgator has been anything but good so far
Long before I subscribed, I heard about Host Gator that it is a very good hosting company. Unfortunately, that was not true anymore when I moved my website to them.
I couldn't imagine that a company can have such a poor customer service. And by poor I mean incompetent, dishonest, and without any respect for their customer's time.
I have had a few positive experiences with customer service, which is why my rating is two stars and not one. Unfortunately, the majority of them were awful.
If I were in a position of power at Host Gator, I would look very carefully at the hiring process for customer service representatives.
