I originally chose HostGator because of their prices, reliability and ease of use. But for the past year or so I constantly have site security issues that I have to manually fix and I only know it is an issue because our website visitors email us.
Because not only is it easy to use but your customer service is absolutely amazing, and very consistent.
On January we were left without emails or cpanel access for two weeks. Now we have the same issue and none of the emails work and do not have access to cpanel again. Hostgator continues to excalate and nobody knows how to fix the situation.
I can not find the ftp to redesign the site. Did you rearrange hostgator? Where is my cpanel?
My experience with HostGator has been extremely disappointing. They took money from my account even when I canceled my subscription, showing a complete lack of integrity. Their customer support is ineffective, constantly making promises they never fulfill and leaving me frustrated. HostGator's deceptive practices and failure to take any real action are unacceptable. I strongly advise against choosing them as a hosting provider, as they prioritize their own profits over customer satisfaction.

I finally did double authentication and I have yet to receive a text message, which means I have to go find my recovery key each time I log in. I just changed my phone number to not include the "1" before the number. I hope that works. Plus, every time I log in, I have to turn off my sound because the chat box keeps dinging constantly. The new interface is limited and as a long term client, I am not impressed with all the new changes and tripled price overnight with no notice.
I've ran into multiple problems. Sites were down for months. And pricing is high.
I had to change my webhost, but your prices are extremeley high, without any advantage comparing to your rivals
Very slow back end support, glitches server issues
This company has changed horribly in the past few years. I don't understand how an excellently ran company can just go to complete disarray. They tell you to get services that give you spam and then tell you to pay to have them remove it. I have been with this company for years without incident and then 3 years ago I started getting foreign customer service agents, viruses on my websites, it's been one thing after another. I'm so disappointed and they couldn't care less. I guess the days of appreciating your loyal customers is gone.
Excellent customer service and hosting. The speed needs to be improved, otherwise this hosting provider would be excellent.
