I feel as though I was sold one thing and it is not what I was sold. I have definitely been dealt a bait and switch and have basically been scammed out of hundreds of dollars. I plan to address it when I have time, but other things are more important at this time, but I am very unhappy with this Host Gator Business plan I was sold. Just s one example, I purchased an "Unlimited site" plan with plesk. Well they are now using some other management software and it is not letting me add any more sites telling me I am at my limit. How is that unlimited. Good thing I have screenshots of what I bought because at quick glance they made the unlimited plan go poof. That is what I purchased through and well I am now limited to the 8 small sites I have in the system. Glad I set most of my sites up within the first week. Will be in contact with their support and will update this review to see if they actually do what they are supposed to,.
Extremely frustrating. Zero assistance, you charge indiscriminately, every time one call, but zero service. ZERO RESOLUTION!
During covid when you moved all your customer service out of states brought the value way down and you raised the prices.
You have deleted all historic invoices and as a customer, that's really inconvenient - whether it works for you or not. Despite a lengthy conversation, I still don't have access. The simple solution is that you either put these bac and listen to your customers or I'm going to switch hosting companies. Sorry, but I'll not be bullied by practices that work for you but not me as a customer. It's absurd that I can't access historic invoices.

Support has issues, lose of functionality of account features. Such as upgrade downgrade on same server.
I have been a dedicated customer to HostGator for more than 15 years. They sold me on a shared cloud "special" that they were having. I bought in and realized that they were charging me for both plans (my original and the new cloud plan). I have tried for 2 1/2 years to get this straightened out to no avail. I keep getting told that it is in process and then it is resolved but yet nothing has been resolved. The service staff they have offshore is not capable of handling many issues. They just keep kicking the can down the road. I am about to move everything because I am so sick of this nonsense

I've got CentOS 7 on my Dedicated Server and you are all dragging your feet moving to a more current version for your cloud machines. Due to PCI Compliance, I'm getting worried that you will force my sites out of being compliant which is not acceptable.
Time and time again I can't get into my email accounts. They just won't open after logging in. I must be on the bottom rung of the ladders for server access.
3 month our websites always down and we keep following some time your team sove the issue some times they say our account affected and till now we are not happy with your hosting
Good choice back in that day - only use for hosting domains currently - not everyone has time to keep up with coding and the html editor that never was - isnt' helpful. Will probably eventually transfer domains elsewhere
I love HostGator's services, but the new website is not great. Not intuitive or easy to navigate.
It was recommended but i am now realizing it was a mistake. I have been a customer for years and every 6 months i have the same issue and the issue gets fixed temporarily and comes back again. I am paying for every little thing and when i call i get asked to sign up for more things and i do but my core issue never gets resolved. I spent thousands on marketing and when someone types in www.khanfoue.com it shows up as unsecure website. It Hard enough to people to your webpage and they already dont trust you and your website shows up as unsecure website. I have paying 90$ to have a special SSL and i bet if i call about it now i will be asked to pay for some other service and this SSL issue won't be solved. I have lost a lot of money due to this SSL issue and i have calling about this for months and months on and no one seems to understand this SSL issue

Please give me the ability to turn off the constant nagging to "protect" my account every time I log in to my cPanel.
I've been with Hostgator for many years. The new panel is awful - missing half of what I routinely use, obscure with the rest. In particular I can find no way to cancel a redundant SSL and it's really pissing me off. Additionally, some of our sites began to fail because you added an automated WordPress core update, then switched it on without telling anybody, and then it worked like crap, not updating all files, thus rendering the sites unstable. Garbage.
