Horrible

If I could leave a BIG fat ZERO I would! I purchased a protection plan ($89.95)with my tickets $3200 total... said I can cancel or exchange for a $25 fee... I was trying to cancel 4 days after purchase due to COVID and finally after a very stressful 2 months going back and forth I was forced to accept a return of almost $1300... SO they kept $2000... this is totally unacceptable! The stress was NOT necessary! I will take the loss BUT I WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW THIS MERCHANT IS A FRAUD! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!

They are a total scam company only there to rip customers off when BBB gives them an F rating you must know why, they only care about $$$ not customers OR customer service, I highly recommend looking for a trustworthy and reliable agency they are neither and I may not be a gambler but would put money on it that you will loose your money or ticket or something will go wrong and they will write to you in a defensive mood

VERY deceitful and dishonest company. Extremely unprofessional. My flight was cancelled due to COVID back in March and I STILL have not received my refund. I get reassurances from each of the team members that: they will get back to me (these are outright lies, all contact is initiated by me), they say they have sent the check TWICE (lies again), it is being handled (8 months later still no check). DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! You will regret it, as I do.

Don't bother.

Lmao this has been the worst experience ever. Flight got cancelled, I did not receive any notification from HOP2. I had to reach out to them myself to figure out what was going on and how to move forward. On any other flight, literally ever, the airline or booking agency has notified me of cancellations. I guess not HOP2.

I have someone who I am travelling with (on the same flights as me) that didnt book their flight through HOP2. They got a quick flight change and all of her plans in order within a couple of hours. Its been 2 days for me and it is still not even figured out lol. I even gave HOP2 all of the travel information and the flight that I would like to be placed on ( I got this information from the person i was travelling with, and saw the flights on literally every website I went on) but for some reason switching over this information was like rocket science.

Trying to cancel my flight with them if I can get a full refund. Save yourself the headache and use a different agency. Its been nothing but a nightmare with HOP2

I did everything right. Was rescheduled 5 times until I could no longer handle it financially or personally. Very poor communicators. I lost all my savings.

I booked a flight home with this company. Closer to the time I called and paid an additional $500 to simply change the date to be home earlier. $500 for change of date was cheaper than buying a new tckt so I did it. My flight gets cancelled. They will not refund me the change of flight fee, fair enough. I call every day for a week each time the agent can not help me even with a new flight. Some days I call twice a day some days more. Only the agent who changed my flight previously is the only person who can touch the itinerary. He is in work and online but on a call each time and day I called, its not possible to line me to him apparently there's no possible way. But they put a request. Each time I call they send a new request, they gave out to me for calling so much and told me what im doing is useless, I was so stressed. After TWO weeks this agent 'KAI' calls me back to apologize that he was on holidays. I said where can you be on a holiday. ITS COVID?, he transferred my call to another agent, which by the way the whole two weeks I've been told that they don't have the ability to transfer calls. All Kai could do for me was try charge me an additional couple hundred dollars to change for a new flight. If i knew that's all he was able to do for me I would have gone out and purchased a brand new flight for myself the two weeks before and avoid dealing with HOP2. By the way I am within my right for a new flight as my original was cancelled. I call BA airlines they will change my flight for me for free. But we get to the end and the E TCKT is no longer active as the tckt has been marked as refunded. I call HOP2. The staff are not professional, constantly over talking me and I've been driving mad trying to keep calm. They said my Ticket was not refunded and dont know why I think it is. So I leave Hop2, they have literally no idea what is going on. I've been working in the airline industry for many years now. I have never seen anyone treat customers the way HOP2 have treated me. In the end I just bought a new tckt and flew right away home. The company I purchased through assured me they will not leave me stranded if the flight was cancelled and not to worry. It was so stressful at the time but i finally made it home.

Do not book with Hop2

I booked a flight with hop2 around 4 months before the flight date. 4 hours before the flight i find out that the flight has been canceled. The airline told Hop2 that the flight was canceled over a month before but they feel like they dont need to tell their customers about cancelations. After i got transferred to the rude refunds department im basically told it will take 4 weeks and he hangs up the phone without me even agreeing to the refund. Iv never dealt with a worse company than hop2 in my life. DO NOT BOOK WITH HOP2

I recently bought 2 tickets to Ireland. Needed to cancel due to the pandemic. Called to cancel only to find out that they will only refund you half of your airfare OR reschedule your flights for a later date and make you pay for the rescheduling fees. Don't book through this shady company, and if you do, you better hope and pray you don't have to cancel or else they're gonna steal your money. F#@$ you HOP2, thanks for taking $850 of my savings. I will NEVER book through you again.

Absolutely NO

Booked a flight with this place and the price was good. Then I was exposed to Covid and had to cancel it which was inordinately difficult. That took longer than when I was supposed to take the flight (like more than a month for them to queue me up to reply to an email after I'd called them and waited on hold for hours and never gotten an answer).
Then I finally get someone dealing with the ticket and they say that they have to book it for the exact same route, etc even though the circumstance are now different. (I was just traveling initially but am now moving permanently) Fine, I assume that's some kind of industry mumbo jumbo that I don't understand.
But then they tell me they'll search for a flight and call me back in an hour. I call again the next day and they'll call me back in 2 hours. Each subsequent call is the same and it's been 2 weeks. I finally just booked a flight and ate the $850 bucks. Absolutely would never book this place again. Horrible.

Worst service ever

I booked a flight to Brazil using their service, I paid $921.00, the AIRLINE cancelled my return flight, due the covid, my departure is not until November, I am trying to either get a refund or the cancel portion rebooked, and I was told by them that I have to pay extra 150.00 for cancellation and they will only refund PART of my flight in 4-5 WEEKS, I called the airline and they said it can be rebooked but has to be through the 3rd part vendor. And HOP 2 is refusing to help me! What in the hell!? Please don't book ANYTHING through them. It is a SCAM

If there is a 0-star option I can choose I will give them 0-star. They are a cheater.
I booked a JAL flight from Dallas to Beijing through agent Hop2.com. But JAL canceled that flight for an unknown reason. It's not my fault. I requested a refund from JAL through the agent. Hop2 replied that the flight fund can be returned 100% but I need to pay a $200 processing fee to Hop2. Without agreeing on the processing fee, Hop2 doesn't proceed with the JAL refund process. It's unacceptable.

Kept Airline refund

Watch out. These guys may be crooks. My airline cancelled my flight (NOTE: I did not cancel; my airline cancelled) and the airline refunded my complete airfare to Hop2, but Hop2 charged us an unfair $200 cancellation fee. Totally unfair practice. May be two guys in an apartment on Long Island pretending to be a company. Stay away! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Hola buenas, explico mi situación.
Tenía 4 billetes Madrid-Miami. Resulta que por el estado de alarma debido al virus COVID-19, la emergencia internacional hizo que los billetes se cancelasen lógicamente. Bien, el viaje era en Abril y después de estar 4 meses intentando contactar con alguien. Recibo un mensaje diciendo que nos van a hacer el reembolso pero con un cobro de 50$ por billete. Hasta aquí dentro de la paciencia de cada uno todo bien.
Recibo el cobro de 50$ por billete y a los días el reembolso, pero el reembolso no es completo por lo que intento ponerme en contacto con ellos y no recibo respuesta.
Ahora después de unos días, he recibido otro cobro en mi tarjeta sin ninguna explicación. Por lo que he tenido que cancelar la tarjeta para que no me sigan cobrando lo que les apetece. Seguramente si todo hubiera sido normal, no habría tenido ningún percance. Pero con la situación tan complicada que estamos viviendo, yo desde mi comprensión de que tienen que atender muchas situaciones solo he recibido una parte del reembolso y me han seguido cobrando dinero hasta que he cancelado la tarjeta.
Espero que esto lo lea alguien de la empresa y mejoren el trato, sino, es la última vez que tramito un viaje con ellos. De hecho ya hay una demanda en trámite que no retiraré si no me devuelven lo pactado.

If I could give negative stars, I would love to do so. My partner and I been dealing with HOP2 for over 1 month now, and the problem is still NOT SOLVED. Due to COVID-19, we had to make cancellations accordingly and ask for a refund.

On average, it takes about 2 hrs to wait to talk to a customer service agent, which I mean I understand the long wait due to the current situation. But what I cannot stand is that they will promise you all sorts of things such as we will get back to in X days, you can call this DIRECT line to reach me... etc. BTW, ALL LIES. They give you fack emails that is not receivable and a phone number that is not a DIRECT line at all. It rings for 30 mins and then cut you off automatically. The email address turns out to be fake since we used 2 different email account to try to email "the agent," and Gmail kept sending us the "Address Not FOUND" response. Our tickets are canceled and the only thing we need from HOP2 is the refund. They keep coming back with "new departments" that they need to go through to deal with this issue. Trust us, for your mental and physical health, do not ever do business with them.

The worst ever!

Worst customer service that I ever experience in my life! It was a big mistake purchasing ticket from HOP2! My flight got canceled and try to request for refund. I was trying to call many times and they just put you on hold for 30-40 minutes and then hung up on you! I also emailed them but no response! DO NOT BUY A TICKET FROM THEM, AVOIDING HEADACES!

After Covid19, one of my flights was cancelled by airline. Hop2 service fee went from $50 in April to $202.50 in June. And they will not explain why. They will charge $202.50 to help me either look for another flight or cancel the one I have. Not because I want but because the airline cancelled that specific flight. So there you have... save yourself time and headache and book through the airline itself or a serious travel agency. It is worth the extra $$, believe me I learned the wrong way. Al Hop2 good reviews were prior Covid19 when you go buy a ticket and everything is OK Now all they do is take advantage of their own customers

Hop2 did not inform me of the cancellation/change of my flight. I understand that there is the whole covid19 situation happening, but during times like these is when communication is of the utmost importance.

We arrived at the airport at 5 in the morning to check-in to our flight only to be told that our flight was cancelled. We double checked our emails just in case we missed a notification, but there was absolutely no point of contact after we received our original tickets.

When we tried to call the numbers provided, two of them said they were disconnected/unavailable. A third number we tried to contact had me on hold for over 40 minutes only to be told that issues need to be emailed to them. I tried to message their "live chat" support and they asked for an email, but I have yet to receive an email from them.

This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had dealing with a third party booking site.

The company is scamming everyone out of their Covid related refunds. They are arbitrarily charging hefty fees ($150, $200+) upfront to refund a ticket which then gets dragged out. Twisting words. Refusing refunding covid covered flights that are not cancelled. I can go on and on..

The worst travel agency I have ever dealt with. The are not helping me get a deserved refund from the airline which cancelled my return flight. It will cost me around $50 dollars to file a small case court in New York but I have no other choice because these people are not helping me at all despite waiting for at least 4 months and contacting them weekly.
