I have to agree with everything, I mean everything others are saying about Homes.com with an additional comment about the sales person. She said we will have a long relationship. Their product is proven to get result. I will be more than please. Bull $#*!. I called her several times after the company, in my opinion stole my money on a 3 month comment and not 6 month as she like our conversation and was getting this 3 month term approved - SCAM to make you feel good about you being suckered! I can't believe people can lie like this. I call weekly to get suggestions on how to better my leads and no return phone calls. I am so disappointed in going for this. I like to believe there are honest people out there. They make the money we pay them but oh well we sent you a $75k mobile home listing so they did there part when a starter home in my area is $800k. This company disgust me. Buyer beware. Don't buy there bull $#*!.
I can't think of a time that I've ever negatively reviewed a person or company. But I feel the public and other professionals need to know that Homes.com is a scam. I am a 20+ year veteran of real estate and have never experienced the lack of results from a paid marketing program like I did with Homes.com. I believed the garbage that was promised to me and should have followed my gut when the salesperson insisted on talking on the phone instead of replying to simple questions via email. The few "leads" we got were bogus leads which my staff believes were fake leads that Homes.com made up... to give me the impression they were generating legit ones. Bad phone numbers, bounced/erroneous emails with no responses, etc. When I canceled before my renewal, they charged me for another 3 months of charges and refused to refund it when I brought it to their attention. Don't fall for the pitch that Homes.com gives you. It's not worth it, no matter what they say. They are a SCAM.

I swore I would never pay for leads again, but against my better judgement decided to give them a try. I should have listened to my better judgement. Homes.com leads are not exclusive to the agents who advertise on Homes.com. I recently signed up for leads from Homes.com, but before I did, I explicitly asked and I was told the leads only went to the agents who paid to advertise on the site. I was also told the leads go out to one agent at a time; however, this is not the case. I did several test inquiries, on active listings in my paid for zip code, on the Homes.com site. Before I actually received a lead, I was contacted by a 3rd party brokerage named Prime Street Realty, who's name does not appear as an advertiser on their site, who also receives the leads from Homes.com. I spoke with the rep from Prime Street and he told me they partner with Homes.com place buyers with agents.

I had the same experience as everyone else. This company only wants to take your money without providing a service. Bad leads if, they are even in the area you requested. If you want to cancel, they try to tell you only after six months. That is not stated in the contract. My bank reviewed the contract and refunded the money. They then have a collection company start calling you. I spoke with an attorney and sent them a letter. Telling them I disputed the charges and revoke any permission to call my cell. My attorney and I believe this has to be a possible class action case or consumer protection issue. Too many complaints and contract enforcement have issues. There is a FB group just started about them. Let's sign up and work together. They must be stopped.

I signed up for the lead concierge service in February. My colleagues in the office told me I should stay away, but I had a lot of sales to start the year so I had extra money to invest.
Worse choice of my real estate career. Got 2 leads in my 6 month term and 1 was actually a spam calling.
Also, the Tallahassee manager Mat Neff took it upon himself to add my daughter on Facebook. Very creepy and overall just a waste of time and money. I'm lucky my term is over. I suggest you save your money and invest elsewhere.
Good afternoon Jessica. Because we pride ourselves in maintaining the highest integrity when it comes to our employees, we took this complaint seriously and investigated it fully. We have found it to be completely without merit. While we are not perfect, we are not guilty of what is being alleged, and it's very disappointing that someone would make these baseless claims. We are coordinating with SiteJabber to address this matter further.
We are new agents and sadly fell for their scam of providing exclusive leads to us in our chosen area.
The phone leads we have received are from utlitity companies trying to contact someone else, and an attorney's office looking for someone else.
The one listing lead we received in July 2019 had been expired since February 2019. So this looked like a bait and switch to the one solid lead we had ever received and which of course we lost due to their dishonest promise that their website is constantly updated and will not show properties not on the market.
They made assurances, promises which all turned out to be lies. They will not respond to emails or phone calls and continue to charge our card when we have demanded they stop.
NEW AGENTS STAY AWAY FROM HOMES.COM!

Homes.Com is a complete and total RIP OFF and is nothing short of Corporate THEFT! If you are a real estate professional or Realtor, you should NEVER purchase leads from these folks as it is a total scam! BUYER BEWARE!
PUT THIS COMPANY OUT OF BUSINESS - THIS IS THEFT & THEFT BY DECEPTION!

Total Waste of Money have no regard for their clients, 1 lead in 6 months. They only believe in smoozing and not delivering. I am done with lead companies. They are not worth it! Then when I cancelled their customer service told me I had one more payment in June, not so. They lie! My last payment will be in July, because they never documented the customer service person's remarks. Horrible! Beware can I give a minus 1 for stars?
Had a 6 month contract with homes.com. Within the six months I received 11 leads. I live in the metro- Atlanta area and received only 11 leads and none of them were ready to purchase. Only 3 of the leads were phone calls. The others were just emails from people who NEVER responded back. They also auto-renewed my contract. Waste of money.
Thank you for your review, Shonda. Upon reviewing your account, it appears that more leads and ad impressions were generated than are indicated in your review. We regret this did not meet expectations and apologize that your experience was less than satisfactory. It also looks like our Client Success team has already relieved your concern regarding your auto renewal, but if there are any additional concerns you may have, please send us a message. We are here to help.
Terrible leads if any at all. They sell a big game and do not deliver on anything. I have used other lead services, and I went back after giving them a try. No leads or bottom of the barrel type leads. Would never recommend to anyone ever again. Sales people sell you a line of BS. Awful! Caveat Emptor!

Beware! If you get any leads at all they are going to be bottom of the barrel. They are playing both sides, the agents who have good listings pay for exclusives so the buyer leads are the scraps... manufactured homes, low end condos and houses in the hood. The buyers (if any) are tire kickers. Also beware of the fine print. Your contract will automatically renew unless you cancel.

I heard from others that this was a disaster... I told the sales rep and he promised me that they had improved. Said... Let's try it for a 3 month period. He was good! I said OK... NOW trying to get any customer service to respond to me is like going into a black hole. I have ZERO return for my investment! It's absurd how bad it is! STAY AWAY! It's a WASTE of money!

Many years ago I was purchasing leads from Homes.com. It was a disaster. I purchased leads from 5 popular local zip codes for a period of 12 months. I received my first lead the first day which gave me hopes this was going to be a good investment. Unfortunately it was 3 months later before I received my next lead. There is nothing worse than having to pay that monthly bill knowing you didn't even get a contact for it, let alone a closing. Imaging how you feel after paying for 3 or 4 months without ever receiving a lead. Over the course of these 12 months I called several times complaining of the lack of activity and return on my investment. I was always promised they would do more advertising in my territories to try and attract more leads, but it never happened. What did happen was an increase in bogus leads that were really solicitation phone calls from vendors trying to sell me everything from websites to social media marketing. When the year finally ended they offered me 3 months free to convince me to stay, unfortunately that 3 months only generated 1 more lead in my 5 zip codes.
Fast forward to today and I receive another call from a Homes.com salesman trying to sell me their lead generation service. I tell him about my previous experience and he goes on to talk about how it's a whole new Homes.com system. He talks about how they generate at least 4 times more traffic than they used to, how the current agent in the zip codes I had are now generating 10 to 14 leads per month. He even goes on to tell me how he has a 95% renewal rate with his agents. I will give Homes.com credit for one thing, they are significantly cheaper than Zillow or Realtor.com which is a good thing because they still don't deliver many leads.
Now I knew I wouldn't get the same 10 to 14 leads per month as I knew there would now be 2 agents splitting those leads, however it has now been 3 months and I have again only received 1 lead. I originally gave them a 2 star rating because last time they at least tried to make the situation right, this time however they won't even return my phone calls. Neither the salesman nor his supervisor have returned multiple calls to explain. Clearly I was lied to about the potential leads and clearly nothing has changed over the years except that this time around they don't even want to try and make things right.
If you're a Realtor and wish to supplement your business with Internet leads, stay away and stick with Realtor.com. They have quite a few bogus leads too, but at least the flow and quality of leads offers a return on your investment.

I signed a 6 month contract with homes.com. It took them a couple of weeks to get my profile working yet they did not give me any type of credit during that time. I complained several times that there were simply Zero leads in the first few months. They explained they had changed the way the did things and were feeling the growing pains. So acknowledging they had issues, still no compensation or help. They would not let me cancel early and said I had to cancel 60 day before the end of the contract. I canceled at that time. I kept getting calls to add zip codes, I kept repeating I had canceled. As late as March 6th I got a call and the person confirmed I was set to cancel and I would not be charged again. Then I get another call on the 11th to buy more zip codes! I was then told to forward my cancellation email again as they did not see the cancellation. Also, I was just charged for another month on March 8th! I have argued with them but nothing. I am now going to work on have credit card company do a chargeback. This is the biggest scam of all!

I paid for zip codes and concierge. Concierge service was a joke, very poor phone call handling which send caller to voice mails after waiting for minutes. I requested to cancel that useless concierge service. They never updated my phone number to display the correct one. I paid 2 months of advertisement for nothing. Not to mentioned that NO LEADS. Save your money, time and stress. Dont spend money on this.

They say it is like a billboard and that they can not guarantee leads. They sold me a position in a zip code and sold the same zip code to 213 other Realtors. They did not tell me how diluted my position would be (or how small my "billboard" would be). There is no traction here. I might as well throw my business cards out the window as I travel down the interstate for all of the notice their advertising gets me and they knew that when they sold it to me. Total misrepresentation. Its a scam.

We wish we could leave a negative star review with this company. We should've, like so many before us, done our research. We were paying over $600 a month for almost nothing. We wanted to drop our plan down to the more basic version for only $50. They said they couldn't do it because of a contract. No contract was ever agreed to or signed. We sent in a letter of cancellation and they still proceeded to bill us for $600+ a month which we refused. We had to destroy the card that was being billed just to end the payments. We called again to see where to send the $50 to make payment by check. They informed us that we still owed over $700. Apparently, the contract we never signed or received proof of was automatically renewed without our knowing. Also, in the many phone calls we made we were never informed that you had to cancel 30 days before the end of the contract. Mind you, this has been going on, with us calling every week, since October. It's now the end of January. This whole thing is completely ridiculous. Customer service is more than unhelpful and will rarely return calls. We are more than thoroughly disappointed, disgruntled, and outraged. Avoid this company at all costs. They're a complete waste of time and money. Homes.com is a scam and should be reported for fraud.

Proof: Call the number in the attached image.
They had a non-working phone number listed on my account for 6 months. I asked for a refund and cancellation back in September. They never got back to me. In December I called again when I saw they still billed me, and they said "we received your request. We usually handle concerns at the end of the 6-month cycle."
They put a non-working phone number and charged me hundreds of dollars because their support team only reaches out twice a year. THEY KNEW ABOUT MY COMPLAIN IN SEPTEMBER!
After chewing them out, I was offered a ONE MONTH REFUND.
6 MONTHS of bait n switch, non-functional product, and they refund ONE MONTH.
After they changed my number from my complaint, they put me as the LISTING AGENT
WOULD NEVER USE AGAIN! As a realtor I was
Contacted by Homes.com to advertise on the 2 zip codes close to where I live.
It was a special promotion to be a 6 month commitment for $177.88 a month.
Seemed pricey but I thought with 1559 views (as per homes.com) on the 2 zip
Codes I would give it a try. Once again it was for only 6 months. I received 1
Lead, which was someone just asking me questions, for my $1067. 28
Investment. The best is that they keep charging you after your 6 month
Commitment is finished. I called their customer support who said that I had to
Write in to cancel my 6 month subscription. I would never recommend this
Company ever! It was a complete waste of money!
Answer: Like any lead generation campaign, you will get the leads as described in the contracts they provide, but a lead does not mean a sale. It is up to the you to close the sale on leads that come in.
