We ordered some gold charms to take with us to Paris for a wedding gift, the charm we ordered was delayed and we had to leave the country but homebello assured us that they will send it to my hotel in Paris, I was so skeptical specially after reading some online reviews but they did it, they send my charm via faster shipping to Paris and we had it on time. I will shop there again
My final letter to Josh, the representative that managed my order follows. This was after more than a month of trying to get confirmation that my item shipped. Stay away from this company at all cost...
Please be advised that I am canceling my order #XXXX. I am very disappointed that your organization elected to continue to stall on delivery of an item that is in stock and that would delivered Same day from every other vendor that I looked at. In addition to this you have chose to ignore my recent emails requesting status. As one who frequently leverages online commerce, I feel it is necessary that protect other unsuspecting consumers by sharing my experience as broadly as I can with every site that list HomeBello as a source for this and other products that you sell. You have let me down and I wouldn't want other consumers to fall into the same trap. You can anticipate seeing my negative feedback added to the growing list of dissatisfied consumers that have commented on your business. I can only hope that this will expedite you being considered a business to avoid and taken in context with others that have found you lacking will ultimately result in you losing market share and closing.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE! I received my order, paid for it via paypal, the $80 frame arrived with broken glass. They say it is up to me to pay to return the item. First off, no one will allow you to ship broken glass, I took a picture of this broken frame within a few minutes of receiving it, couldn't get an email response from them for over a week and numerous emails. I have now filed a paypal dispute. Poor customer service and very slow in shipping.
Worst experience on the web site ever. Thieves. Product not as advertized. When i returned per their own authoriztion, they reshipped to me. Now threatening to charge me $250 if i protest to my cedit card company. Oh baby - I will be protesting. What a bunch of jerks. Stay away. First time I have ever complained on a company!
This site just ripped me off completely I have used my credit card to make purchases all over the internet and when I come here to buy a simple ring they take the money and tell me my card was declined 3 days before the scheduled delivery date that it was supposed to arrive on
The good reviews here must be from someone affiliated with the company. This is a total scam! After ordering, I received an e-mail saying it was on back order. When it was not in by said date, I tried to cancel the order because it would not arrive in time. I never heard back from anyone by phone or e-mail. Canceled payment through paypal and they went ahead and processed it anyway even though they could see that it was flagged as canceled. Order was never shipped. Waiting for refund.
I had my bridal registry with them and they gave me great pricing. Good customer service and free shipping, they also gave me huge discounts on my whole registry.
We got some great unique dinnerware from this website they have some gorgeous place in platters that are very different. I was happy to see the items of arrived undamaged. They even had a discount for ordering online and free shipping.
Caveat Emptor! Customer Service is terrible. Received defective (expensive) tablecloth. They refuse to take it back or replace it. I think they are selling seconds and passing them off as first quality.
Answer: Correct. Read MY 1-star review, above, at the top. I'm going to the police, the BBB, my bank and card issuer, and to the OWNER of L'Objet, whom I just happen to have met once, when I interviewed with him for a management position in their boutique in Harrods London, where I already worked, just a couple of boutiques away, for another luxury homewares brand. I was offered the job, but had to turn it down because my husband's work was sending us from London to Berlin. Trust me: if anyone CAN take this company down, it's me -- and I intend to!
