My kitchen sinks were backing up and not draining properly. First I hired She Repairs It/handyman service, who inspected all pipes under kitchen sinks for possible clogs, very thoroughly. Concluding that the problem/blockage was outside pipes. I then hired Absolute rooters and plumbing inc. and they found the problem was indeed the outside pipes. They performed a descaling procedure, which completely remedied the clogging issues. Everything regarding kitchen sinks and dishwasher are functioning perfectly. Very pleased!

I tried the app and it was very easy. I followed up with a phone call with a very knowledgeable agent who gave me several names for my two projects. I also communicated with the contractor on the app easily. I have completed one project and look forward for the next.
I received a call from a rep after submitting a request for a handyman. I described my project - extend my fireplace brick to the ceiling - approx. 18 sq. Feet of brick to be laid. They gave me a price and scheduled a provider for 4 days hence (a Monday). The guy was a no show. I called, they re-scheduled with another provider for the following Friday. They send a link to communicate with the provider 24 hours prior to the time of your appointment. I texted, no response. The guy does show up, but when I show him the project, he tells me he has never laid brick before. Nice enough guy, just not qualified for the job.
I am unclear as to what process they use to send a provider given that I already provided them the scope of work.
When I called and spoke to customer service, they offered to reschedule again or refund my purchase. When I asked if they could assure me that the provider would be qualified to do the work, they said no.? I went for the refund.
Would not use again.

While waiting for quotes the HA customer service called me several times to make sure I had a company coming. They even set l-up appts for me.
I first contacted HomeAdvisor and it did take a little while for someone to call me. I know that materials are short these days because of the pandemic and I expected to wait a little while.
I posted the small things that needed to be done, and was very impressed with the information provided to me of local handyman that would fit with our project.
