Looked for services involving water softeners services as I could not locate any in my area. Angi made this process easy, but I don't like the harassment after using them once a while ago just to look up a service. Once I use the service and the service is good I will use again, but on my own as I don't need the bombardment of emails when I don't need them. Let your service speak for itself.
The pros are that the site was very easy to use. I got messages from the two companies I chose right away, and ended up using one. I was very happy with their work.
The cons are that after the initial use of the website, you can't read messages from the companies without downloading the HomeAdvisor app. No thanks, don't need another app. Also, the spam emails are endless after they have your address. (This request for review being the latest.)

Hired a pro to come fix the tracks of 4 small windows. Alleged "fixed price" was $531. Pro came and said he would need to be reimbursed for parts. When I questioned why I have to pay for the parts when I already paid a fixed price, I was told he's getting paid for his time. I contacted Home Advisor Angies list about how I was not happy with the service and wanted a refund considering no work had been done, they then tell me I would be charged 50%.

After filling out a form online, Scott called me within an hour. He set up the appointment, called me on the day of the appointment, and showed up on time. In 15 minutes my piano was out the door and we had a very pleasant conversation. I am impressed.
Placed my add within 5 minutes had a guy call about installing my fence. Showed up for estimate in 2 days came back the next day and had my fence installed and did a great job.

He was prompt and gave me a lot of time to explain his services, answer my questions, evaluate my yard and give me an estimate. I agreed and want this service from his company. He was very thorough in his estimate and evaluation and I expect to be very happy with our agreement
Service was quoted for $113 and credit was charged for $194.43. Service was not completed on date and time booked but was one day later. Customer service could not cancel the appointment and refused to refund the difference. Spoke with Rofel, Laura, Andrian Genita, Erlyn Siarot, Vignesh.
