In one year 2 services. The first one the contractor shows up to mount 2 TVs. He said that he needs more time, he was upset because he said needing another person to do job, very bad attitude. He avoid to install one of the retractable arms to save time. When I called back HomeAdvisor to complete the job, they didn't help. The second time, I tried to got a wall fixed. HomeAdvisor sales setup the price and the conditions. The contractor called me to ask upfront for more money and more time. HomeAdvisor wanted to have me paying for the materials after all the service was set up with one of their agents. I can see a bad common pattern ongoing. Don't waste your time and energy with this company, not professional, very unethical practices.
I have not use home advisor before. I was concerned there would be a fee involved and usually use word of mouth to find contractors. I was called promptly by the contractor, he came out and gave me a quote within a few days and got the job done quickly and professionally.

This summer we were desperately looking for people to hire for 2 projects. When I couldn't find any one I decided to try Home Advisors. I quickly found contractors for both projects. I have been very happy with the work done by the stone mason and the carpenter we hired. The process was so easy. I will definitely use this service again.

They demanded that I give them a charge card number before they booked the appointment and they said that they didn't accept cash. No one showed up to look at what I wanted done and give me a quote. I like see the person who is doing the job before I accept them to do the job. I didn't get multiple quotes to pick from as they promised. I feel like they and Angie's list is just a scam.
Bath Planet gave me exactly what I wanted, and they did it in 6 hours. The shower experience was fantastic. After Byron and Josh finish installing my shower replacement and tube removal they cleaned the entire bathroom and vacuumed the living room rug. Plus they cleaned all the refuse from the job site and took it all away. Didn't even know I had any thing done.

They seem to pick the jobs they want and discard less $$$$ makers. Too many jobs to pick from I guess.
