Have used for plumbing, electrical, new thermostat been pleased with those I've used.

Home Advisor does not always check back to see if you received a call or got a response from someone they sent your way.

Home Advisor is charging me for a service I never authorized and a service that was never completed. The service person involved is not at fault, Home Advisor is. Their record keeping is awful and incomplete and they offer NO customer service and could care less about making a wrong situation right. My advice to consumers is to STAY AWAY.

I got a plumber thru home advisor he came to my house fixed 3 dripping faucets. Charged me $275.00. AND STOLE MY GUN! I investigated him on internet HE IS A CONVICTED FELON, AND WAS ARRESTED FOR PROSTITUTION OF BOYS! I am sicken that HOME ADVISOR made it possible for this pervert to come into my house and ROB me. THEY HAVE TAKEN NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY THIng. DO NOT USE HOMEADVISOR.

They fixed a fence that had posts broken due to a lawn company who mowed the lawn, then had gotten worse due to wind.

I tried several different recommendations from friends and another app before HomeAdvisor. When I entered the specific job I needed done and why it was critical, I got the best person right away. I was so relieved.

It was good. It's important to get more than one bid because some are much higher than others.

I went on line to HA typed in the work I needed and answered a few questions. Within a minute they connected me to a pro on the phone. I explained the job in more detail and then sent some one right away
