I happened to find an add in my email at the same time I needed to have some work done on my plumbing. I didn't feel comfortable doing the job myself so I pursued the Home Adviser add. I chose to negotiate with the plumber as I thought the price was too steep for the work that needed to be done. The quote was $237 for changing out a few washers and seals for a bathtub faucet. I had 2 phonecalls about the job. The first wasn't willing to negotiate and the second person was selected for a lower cost. I already had the materials on hand. The work was accomplished at the price we negotiated and I'm quite pleased.
