They trick startup businesses into signing up saying their lead (priced at nearly $50 or more) are homeowners wanting to get work done. They don't tell you that you can't cancel after 72 hours until you tell them that every lead was not able to be contacted and that this is not the service that you was pitched. They are a highly skilled scam industry that delivers on none of their promises and the best response they give you is their sorry for your experience. This company is worse than loan sharks and killing small businesses without remorse. Please read their reviews on BBB before thinking about going with this company. I was lied to, and cheated. The "leads" are not checked by the company and they charge you even if no contact is made. Worse scam ever and a crime against businesses everywhere. I attached a screenshot of a "lead" opportunity from homeadvisor, it was actually my husband trying to find our profile on their site. Absolutely outrageous! My husband got calls from other people who are signed up with them who told me that they have had the same experience

I did not hire the contractor because of Home Advisor. He was doing work in a neighbors yard and I asked him for a quote. It turned out that he was the only contractor that HomeAdvisor could recommend. In fact I have had quite a bit of trouble getting referrals from HomeAdvisor. You usually get back to me with no pros in my area. I am not sure that TreePro is in my area. I would have thought that there was someone closer. You do send me too many meaningless emails.

Marquez lawn are called me in minutes and came out to do an estimate. They were very friendly and fairly priced. Worked hard and completed the job in 6 hours.
Our backyard was flooded and we needed two valves replaced. We were in the middle of selling our house and the home inspector was due in 2 days. I contacted HomeAdvisor and Esteban called in less than 1 hour. He came out 2-3 hours later and gave us a free estimate and then was able to schedule us for 2 days later.
Happy that I had an account and was able to produce a quick match for the service that I needed. I was done within a few days. And that was only because I did due diligence to research a far rate to pay. Otherwise, I'm satisfied and going to use this service for other needs.
I was looking for a reputable, affordable and local moving company to move my folks' out - downsizing. Home Advisor gave me a short list of moving companies and a little information about each. They helped do the weeding out when I didn't have the time.
