We hired two contractors using Home Advisor. The plumber was a good find, the building contractor has been a nightmare. The building contractor left Home Advisor after we hired him because he didn't turn out to be what was advertised. I'm glad he did leave Home Advisor because I just left a scathing review about his company about our horrible experience!
We received multiple options from HomeAdvisor, two came out to do an estimate. Both seemed highly qualified. We were extremely satisfied with the company we chose.

I initiated a search for a plumber via the HomeAdvisor site and was quickly provided with a couple candidates. Since problem was an emergency {I was without water) I went with the first plumbing company that could begin work ASAP. That company, Cass Plumbing, came thru for me and had the issue resolved by the next morning. I plan on replacing my roof in the next 30 days or so, and I will try to go thru HomeAdvisor to find a roofer for the job.
I had home advisor for 6 months. Was more of a hassle trying to get them to refund my money for false leads that didn't pertain to what we do. Was always a issue trying to get my money back from these guys.

He has a large enough crew to do the work efficiently, Excellent crew. He was very patient when we were deciding on colors. Gutters were also repaced. My house looks beautiful
