Buyer beware! This is what happened to me. I contracted someone to power wash my house and deck thru HOME ADVISOR. Paid in advance. No one showed up, rescheduled and again no one showed up. I was home both days and communicating with them the whole time that no one was coming, giving them half hour status. Today I told them to credit my card as I no longer want the service. They responded by sending me 9 $30 coupons on my next 8 services (as if I would ever use them again). I've also contacted my credit card. SO, BUYER BEWARE!

I was unable to secure a trash hauler for my job on my own, with Home Advisor I had a contact within a day who was ready to work with me and schedule for my convenience

I signed up for home advisor for a little extra work. I spent $300 for the year and was told I could add money when needed. Never was I told that they would be taken from my account weekly for every lead. To top things off I was getting fake leads. I called customer service for a refund which sucked. I told them to keep the $300 but I need a refund fro. The unauthorized withdrawals from my account I was told that I was informed of this in the beginning. I WAS NOT! When I told him I was not told this his rebuttal was that it was in an audio message. I'm in the process of reaching out to other contractors that have been ROBBED BY HOME ADVISORS AND FILING A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT.

Schedule for 4. 30. 21 at 8am. 830am rolls around and i haven't heard anything from you or the pro.

I call customer service. They tell me the contractor won't be able to come. They won't give me a reason.

Why wasn't i notified? No email, no call, no app notification.

I live an hour away from the property that needed service. That's two hours of time wasted, plus another hour waiting around for your "pro".

That's essentially a few hundred bucks of my time.

Your app UI sucks. No messaging to project i have open. No project order ID, you have to go digging around through the countless emails they send.

First and last time I'll be using your joke of a service. Rest assured I'll be rating your app across all platforms.

Ok. So somehow two home advisor reps were scheduled the same day for my home. I had to cancel one, same day the appointment was set, I cancelled one. Yet they charged me an outrageous cancellation fee. I don't need two reps at my house. Just one. The cancellation fee was bogus. I will never use them again. Period.

IF THERE IS A RATE OF ZERO STAR, THAT IS WHERE MY EXPERIENCE OF THIS COMPANY WILL BE RATED. I BOOK FOR A JOB AND WAS SCHEDULED FOR AN APPOINTMENT. HERE I AM WAITING FOR TWO FREAKING HOURS FOR THE "PRO" TO SHOW UP. NO PRO SHOW UP, NO COMMUNICATION FROM HOME ADVISOR. WHEN I CALLED THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO SAY THAT THE PRO DID NOT CONTACT THEM AND WAS AT A DIFFERENT JOB. AREN'T YOU SUPPOSE TO CONNECT WITH THE PRO AND MAKE THIS ARRANGEMENT WORK? THEY CLAIMED THAT THEY ARE RATED FOR QUALITY WORK AND CUSTOMER SERVICE, PERHAPS THEY SHOULD FOCUS MORE ON ACTUALLY GETTING THEIR CONTRACTORS TO SHOW UP AT A SCHEDULED JOB APPOINTMENT INSTEAD. ALSO HAD A HARD TIME CONTACTING THEM TOO. NO CONTACT INFORMATION IN THEIR CONFIRMATION EMAIL. I HAVE TO SEARCH FOR 20 MINUTES TO FIND THE PHONE TO CALL. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN! THIS IS A SCAM OPERATION THEY ARE RUNNING AS FAR AS I AM CONCERN, SO BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
