If not for Angi I was at a loss on how to get professionals to assist in upgrading/updating projects in my house. The site took some of the fears and time away from searching and vetting contractors
Waiting over a week. Sent 9 estimate requests out... Zero return call (interior painting 1650 Sq house, nothing extraordinary). Ended up just googling a contractor with high ratings... everything done in 20 minutes.
This experience was terrible - I'd give it 0 stars if possible. Our family had booked HA to do a carpet cleaning around the home.
We had confirmed an appointment and HA cancelled on us 90 minutes prior to the cleaning. We were upset but decided to let them reschedule our carpet cleaning. Note that we'd already moved furniture so everything was set for them to clean. When rescheduling, HA confirmed a new date/time without our consent. We called customer service and rescheduled to a new date that worked for us.
Come to our rescheduled appointment, HA cancels on us AGAIN 90 minutes prior to the cleaning. We received an automated cancelled text/email for this notice. It's infuriating that this happened to us not once but TWICE. As a client, we tried to be accommodating to last minute situations but to have this happen again is not the customer service anyone would like.
I'm writing this review because on HA guidelines, if we were to reschedule/cancel, we have to give a 24 hour notice. But for HA, they get to cancel on us 90 minutes prior?!? This is completely unacceptable and a waste of time.
If you need a carpet cleaning, I suggest you find another business to support otherwise this may happen to you as well. Customers - save your time and don't use HA.

My experience with the man who came to help install the AC was very professional and outstanding. He did a good quality job and the pricing was right. I would recommend him and the Wiseman company again.
It was excellent to deal with Home Advisor agent. She was very helpful in finding me a write contractor.
Contractor was great to work with and kept me up to date with time and product information.
All but one of the contractors did not respond in a timely manner (if at all). I was very satisfied with the contractor that responded promptly and that I did select.
Amy was great. We got a lot done. I'm a career woman and have many clothes, Amy organized my clothes color coded dresses, blouses, pants, toes, jackets and sweaters. The closets and drawers are very neat and organized. I can see clearly now, the clutter is gone!
I filled out my info and immediately started to receive calls. I had scheduled someone within 10 minutes.
Our experience was very positive. The team at Pacnorwest Construction was exceptional from beginning to end. Dustin helped identify materials, scheduled the work and were always on time and finished on schedule.
Very good impression of a young man who will be successful in his life no matter what he does. Hope you can keep him busy with work this year with so many unwilling to get out of the house.
They referred a few different repair services & I chose the first that responded, they wanted the job more than the others.
I was triple charged in advance for leads I never received yet, homeadvisor will not issue refund. They only issue credits for leads. Basically strong arming contractors to use homeadvisor. So basically they can take your money anytime they want for future leads. A joke

After trying to hire somebody to do my lawn, I was flabbergasted at the amount of contacts that I received. It seems like I received five emails per day, I receive text messages and I receive phone calls from ANGI STAFF asking how they can help! What the heck? Even one contact your day is a bit too much give us time to review the suggested companies and to get it done. Stop spamming us!
