We could not find a reliable electrician and tried Angi (Homeadvisor). Filled out the easy to use online form around 8pm and was given a list of reputable companies and background information on them. Selected to get a quote and the next morning we got a call from one of the companies. He came out that day and fixed our problem in a couple of hours at a great price. We will continue to only use Angi's List going forward as they made a big problem not so big anymore.
I had actually contacted this business on my own and did not use HomeAdvisor. I find HomeAdvisor to be somewhat of a hindrance, especially when looking for a craftsman at his trade, but can see it is needed in order to keep both parties honest.
The service technician Sidney Janet was the consummate professional. He asked me what the problem was and I showed him what I wanted fix and what I wanted added. He then provided me with three options and explained each one of them patiently and in great detail. After I picked the best option for me he started working and did an amazing job. I am very happy with the service that he provided that not only will I hire Home Service Doctors again but I will be asking for him by name.
