I wasn't sure about ordering from Hollar.com due to the negative reviews and people saying it took forever to get their order. I decided to try it since I was shopping for the co-workers kids Christmas presents and I really didn't need them until December. Items are cheap, spent $20 to get 6 gifts for 3 kids + the gift bags - not bad at all. The items are pretty cheaply made but for $2-3 it's what I was expecting. I don't think I'd ever try to order any "quality" items from them but for stickers & stuffed animals for kids 6 & under this is the place to shop! I placed my order on 9/11 and I received it today (9/19), everything was as described. I will be doing business with Hollar.com again next time I need some cheap toys to keep the kids happy.

I keep seeing all these negative reviews of Hollar but really wanted to give them a try. People are complaining that their order is taking forever for them to receive if they even receive them at all.
Here's my review:
I placed an order on 9/9/16 and was excited about how cheap some of their stuff is. For example, my kids love those stupid snackeez cups and I recently paid $12.99 for one at walmart. Much to my surprise, the Hollar site had them for $3.00!
Anyways, I placed my order on 9/9/16.
On 9/12/16, I received an email from Hollar telling me my shipment was on its way. I just received my shipment today (9/16/16)!
It took 7 days from the time I placed my order until the items were in my hands which I think is pretty good considering this is not AMAZON! I have ordered from other major stores like Kohls and ToysRus websites and it has taken much longer to receive my items from them.
I just want to say while its not Amazon with you getting your delivery in 2 days, I feel that I received my delivery withing a very reasonable time and I am very happy with what I ordered!

Why is this taking so long?

I have made two separate orders now from this site, overall this site is pretty good. Both my orders took over a month to receive. Be aware of that. I ordered something on the 27th and it didn't even ship till the 7th of the next month... that's just them shipping it. Then I didn't receive it for another two weeks. So it took about a month every time I ordered something. Some items are cheaper at other places (ie the dollar tree) so look around before buying. Some items are a really good value as well so just be mindful when your shopping!

I also received items that they made look different then how they were. Misleading full sized items for mini's. So read carefully, pictures can be deceiving.

Each time I placed an order some things in my kart were no longer available. I got money back and a two dollar credit, so that is something they do good, but if you want it order fast!

Overall you can find some good deals, just be prepaid to wait a long time for your items.

I would advise anyone thinking to order from this place to save your money and go somewhere else. Yes the product and prices are great. BUT it is a crap shoot if you ever get the items that you PAY for up front. I placed an order on August 25th and just got off the phone with their customer service dept (which is a joke just to let you know) and my order has not even been processed. They will give you some song and dance about some items were on a backorder and that they just got swamped with orders. But like I told them, they could have SHOULD HAVE communicated this information with customers that are waiting for orders to ship. They will not send you anything, you just WAIT and WAIT and WAIT. Now they are telling me my orders (yes orders... 3 to be exact) will be put on some stupid list to process quickly. This company should have gotten all this worked out before they went live with an online store. I dont like just giving money away with nothing to show for it. SO in the end, it may be tempting... BUT it is not worth it. Especially if you need the items for any kind of event... you can FORGET it. Place an order today and receive it in 3 WEEK if you are lucky!

Ready to order again

I ordered a bunch of cheap items on my phone - and I was a little skeptical after my order didn't how up on my account; however, I e-mailed the support team and they assured me they received my order. I received conformation it had shipped three days later and I would receive the items within a week. I received my order 4 business days after it shipped. All items were as described, good quality and I am excited to make another order.

I placed an order for 5 items. I got an email saying they got my order ( aka, they took my money) I did not hear anything else for over a week. Nothing telling me my order was processed or being shipped, no tracking number. So I waited... then I get an email telling me that 3 out of 5 items I ordered where not in stock. A WEEK LATER! The items ( that I already paid for) were in stock when I ordered them. So how are they not in stock now? Did they sell them to other people even though I already paid for them? Or did they just never have them to begin with even though they were on the site to buy? I don't understand and im very annoyed. I can see maybe one item not being in stock, BUT 3!?!?!?! They said I would be refunded and it would take 3-5 days for my refund to show on my credit card, so we shall see. I will never be ordering from this site again, as they take your money before making sure they actually have the items, that is no way to do business. I don't recommend this site. Buyer beware.

I received my first order from your company this morning. I ordered a Home Basics Cookie Jar and it was broke in a million pieces. I mean shards of glass were coming out the the box.My postmaster said to be very careful when i opened it, she taped around the box to keep glass from getting everywhere. Shipment # H*******187.

Maybe you should right glass on front of package.My postmaster called the company and told them about the glass all over. I am enjoying the other items i ordered and would like to order again. I ordered my items a week ago. My order is still being processed. I've tried calling customer service to cancel the order because it's not going to get here in time for a birthday party. But everytime I call customer service I keep getting a dial tone. Can some one please help me with this. After this order is cancelled, or shipped NEVER again will I order from Hollar again.

When I ordered my items I was super excited and it seemed too good to be true, but maybe it is... I ordered about a week and a half, almost two weeks ago and my item still HAS NOT been shipped. I will never order from here again. 1. the prices of the items are not cheaper then target or walmart 2. If you want to return an item you have to pay a restock fee and pay for your own shipping.

This place is great, has great prices, but DO NOT ORDER if you arent sure you want said item. Returning items is a drag. They didn't respond to my emails asking to return items for days, then respond only to remind me there's a restocking fee and you pay return shipping yourself. Overall I would have spent more than I did returning the item than buying it so I dumped it in recycling. Also I cant get to all my information like payment info, I tried and tried to replace a card with another I'd prefer to use for such reasons, and I couldn't find it. This site sucks when you look at customer service and assistance. But again, the prices are good. Being sure of your purchases and all that would help things go smoothly. Also, don't forget your password. That leads you in circles! Forgot password, send to email, follow link, log in. No reset password stage.

This is my second order with Hollar.com. I was skeptical at first.
Package arrived a bit later than the first order but I was not in a rush so no big deal.
The first order arrived 8 days after order was made.
All items came in NEW conditions. I bought wall clock for $5 and accidentally dropped it on the floor (carpeted) and it cracked. I guess you get what you pay!
Overall, I am happy with my experience with Hollar. You save money when you buy office supplies with them.

I'd give 5 star if items arrived within 5 days.

I love hollar.com. Great merchandise with cheap prices. I have ordered from them three times (Fisher-Price, Zak, etc.). Free shipping on orders over $25. Doesn't take that long to receive.

I order yesterday, now I wanted to cancel it but they don`t agree it, infect I am in doubt whether they would deliver me stuff. It looks as stuff is cheap but I am getting same stuff at near by store just of half amount so don`t be mislead guy. I hope so if they deliver me anything. They also took shipping charges even on first order on matter how big order. They are fake. If you wanna to return any item in future they deduce 95 cent per item & average cost of each item is 2 $ in short they ensure in no case you can return your items.

I do really really like this sight, I feel like you can get a lot of things for your money, and I love the free shipping on orders over 25$. However, several time my big orange box has come and I've opened it (heart all aflutter) and I've been a little underwhelmed. However, I do know that I would spend a LOT more if I bought these items anywhere else. I regularly buy clothes from this company, as well as gifts (birthdays and etc) and I haven't been let down too much yet. Just be warned that the stuffed animals will always be bigger than what you think they will be!
