New Review:
As of 2020 Hollar has been bought by 5 Below. Noooooooooooooo! Where will I get those cool Korean pencil boxes, those funky coloring post cards, the Hollar GEL PENS!?!? Why? WHY?

Old Review:
A great website. Easy to navigate and great items. As a teacher, this site makes keeping my prize box stocked and unique easy. My students have loved everything and say that our prize box is the "BEST!" I buy things for my house (candles) and for gifts and have been very pleased with the quality. Shipping is average, but not everything is Amazon Prime one-day shipping. So far, so satisfied!

NO PROBLEMS!

On December 5th I ordered two products. On December 15th I received the products, wrapped very well, and nothing broken. I also got free shipping. I have nothing but compliments for Hollar. Thank you very much. Would order again.

I was hesitant at first. Everything was so cheap and i didnt want to get ripped off. But i held my breath and checked out a $50 order just a FEW days before Christmas. In a matter of days i had my order (they managed to get it to me before Christmas!). I ordered toys and ALOT of makeup. Everything was wonderful. Nothing looked cheap (like it looks at the dollar store). I got alot of brand names for WAY cheaper than i would have paid anywhere else. One thing in ny order was out of stock. They sent me an email one day later apologizing. By the time i opened the email they had already refunded my credit card and gave me the price of the sold out item in credits to use in the store. Im in love with Hollar!

I was skeptical when I placed my first order, but pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Since that time, I've place at least 6 orders in November for Christmas presents for co-workers. You can't beat the prices! I check on Amazon to compare and I can't believe that the same item on Amazon sells for triple the Hollar price. I want to tell Amazon shoppers to check out Hollar before placing an order for certain items. Shopping Hollar can be addictive as they are always adding new brand name items! I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. Yes, it does take longer to receive your order, but how many companies ship for free for as low as $25.00 an order? The products are really quality, and I think it's worth the wait for such great deals! They are a growing company, and I think they are selling faster than they had envisioned.

I have ordered from Hollar 3 times since Oct. And have received everything I ordered. Shipping is slower than Amazon but for the much lower price I can wait a little longer. Everything arrived well wrapped and packaged in a sturdy box.

Hollar is Amazing! I've ordered dozens of times and always been so happy with the products. They are exactly what is listed. Anytime there was a mistake with my order (wrong size or out of stock) customer service has always been so nice and refunded or replaced immediately. Out of hundreds of items ordered I've had less than 5 refunded.
They went through a time of really slow shipping while they were moving, which is when a lot of the negative reviews I saw were from. But my last order was placed at midnight and shipped noon the next day! So happy with this company and the great deals I find especially on toys for my kids!

Great Deals

I have ordered from Hollar 5 or 6 times and only once did I not receive my full order. I have purchased items for 3 dollars that were selling on Amazon for 28.00 dollars. If you check the site often you will find some incredible deals. I will happily continue to shop with them.

Big rip off
November 7, 2016

They never mailed my order. Then when they did it was ten days late. Icing on the cake the piece of crab pillow pet I bought from them doesn't work. And now I get to wait 7-10 for my refund. Horrible customer service and horrible company. Do not buy from here

I order a few items on 10/16 and I am still waiting. They use fedex smartpost and they are by far the worst shipping company ever. It took hollar almost 2 weeks to ship my order and the delivery date keeps getting pushed. I am extremely upset with hollar and will never order from them again. Contacted customer service and still haven't heard back from them. I don't like to leave negative reviews but this place deserves it.

Still waiting...
November 1, 2016

Ordered $28 of merchandise on 10/15/16 and have not received any items. Wanted a few items for Trick or Trunk for 10/28(the 10th business day). Emailed company 10/27-could not find a shipping confirmation in any emails, including spam. Received shipping notice 10/28(what a coincidence!). Did not see any direct response to my email. Called company-was told they moved to a bigger facility and their email to me regarding this must be in my spam; no such email to be found. Expecting shipment 11/5 and some reimbursement per customer service-not holding my breath.

Don't rely on it.

I had an offer for free shipping, and a minimum order of 10 dollars I think so I took advantage of it, ordered 2 cosmetic organizers and a funky nail polish that I really did not need to fill out the minimum order. One item ran out of stock and I received refund in a few days-no problem and understandable but the website was still showing it as for sale, other item came broken even though it was wrapped in easily 3 pounds of bubble wrap and paper and was shipped in a huge 12 x 12 inch cardboard box for what it was, a small 4 inch wide plastic tray. There is absolutely no way you can tell me that the item was damaged in the mail with that kind of packaging, they shipped me a broken item. The only thing I got from the entire order was the funky nail polish I really did not want in the first place. Feels like a bait and switch. Won't order again.

I purchased so many items and I didn't find out about the warning until items were delivered. Im done!

California's Proposition 65 entitles California consumers to special warnings for products that contain chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm if those products expose consumers to such chemicals above certain threshold levels.

Over 3 days was told they had plenty of inventory for a large order I wanted to make. I was told the person I needed to speak with about the order was not available, and continued to not be available. I think they lured me in with an exceptionally low price and then limited the number of items I could buy. Very dishonest.

I see people complaining about out of stock items, but that has not been an issue... in 3 orders, only 1 item out of stock. Also had one item arrived broken (a $5 item) which was credited back immediately, no questions asked. Know up front shipment takes a week. Satisfied with my experience.

False branding titles

First I'd like to commend them on their fast shipping, excellent packaging. The items I selected were based on the brand name MODA however the items were Moda at Home and Spirelli. The Spirelli items were worst than the dollar store if you can imagine that. I learned a long time ago in order to avoid on line ordering disappointments, to order only brand names I'm familiar with. Now I have to watch out for false branding. Wow!

My first two orders with Hollar were an amazing experience. They are half the price of what Walmart would be for toys which is surprising for a company based in America. They hand out coupons and store credit like candy and their customer service has always been quick to solve my problems and give me refunds when needed. HOWEVER... I have been extremely bummed out lately that out of the last 8 orders I've placed (probably about 20 items) I've only received maybe 5 items. They say on their website that items are in stock and after I complete my purchases and wait the FULL 7 days for the shipping to take place, they send me emails saying all but 1 item I've ordered are out of stock and can not be shipped to me. When I inquired about this problem they simply just replied "we are a growing company and its important that our customers are happy." Pretty vague and out of context reply if you ask me. What are they doing to fix this issue?!? Probably absolutely nothing because as long as they are making enough sales (which they are definitely making enough sales because who can beat their prices) they don't care to fix this issue that drives everyone insane...
