In no way does Hockerty deliver on its promise of convenience and quality. Terribly constructed clothes. A convoluted complaint resolution system, which seems designed to make you give up and take the loss of whatever you paid for their ill-fitting clothes. Don't throw your money away. Go to Indochino instead.

Complete rip-off… even if the suit didn't fit like a paper bag, the material is absolute garbage. Just go to Nordstrom and buy a Indo Chino suit. Same price point, but the fit and material quality are 10x's better.

Suits are ok but customer service is terrible! I ordered a double breasted waistcoat which looked nothing like what it did on the online designer. I asked for a single breasted to be made and offered to pay half the cost of a new one and they told me to send pictures and refused to make a new one. I asked how much I had to pay for a new one and they just wrote back and said that the waistcoat was fine and they hope I understood. Nothing more frustrating than being disregarded. Do not use unless you are willing to pay for your local tailor to fix their mistakes.

I ordered a custom suit for my wedding with a three month lead time. The ordering process is straightforward but that is the only positive experience I can speak of.

Upon receiving the package, I was very surprised to find Hockerty does not ship their custom items in a dust cover or include a hangar-- you receive a suit wadded up and stuffed into a small bag so it wrinkled and out of shape. Trying it on, it was clearly not made to any measurements. The waist pockets were sitting close to my nipples and the buttons were off center.

I took pictures as requested and sent them to Hockerty. They required that I ship the jacket back at my own expense which I begrudgingly did. I then went back through the process of confirming my measurements and waited for my new order. At this point my wedding was less than a month away.

I received the next jacket which fit better, but not great. When I tried on the pants with the jacket they were clearly two separate colors because they were made from different bolts of fabric. I emailed Hockerty right away to explain the new problem and provided pictures. Hockerty replied and agreed there was something wrong with the new suit. They would not remake it however, they offered 20% off the price of another suit.

I was not about to spend another $400+ for another disappointment. I ultimately had to dispute the charge with my credit card to get a refund. Fortunately I was able to find another suit from a consignment store for my big day. I would never order from Hockerty again.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Their site said they received payment and gave me a delivery date. Two weeks past and I haven't received the item, cannot find where they charged my account, and My account says I never ordered anything even though I have a tracking number. Will not be coming back to use this company.

DO NOT BUY FROM HOKErty!

What an absolute nightmare. I ordered chukka boots from them and gave them my size as instructed on their website (selected US 10D since that is as much detail as they take). Boots arrive 3 weeks later at they are at least 2 sizes too big - at least. They make the customer pay for return shipping (yes, it is in their terms - but the size is NOT EVEN CLOSE). US orders have to send back to freaking Switzerland which will cost $250 for UPS (more than the boots cost) or at least $75 for USPS. However, the address the company provides is A) not in english so USPS wont accept and B) the location and post code is not recognized by USPS so they wont accept the package. Meanwhile, it takes HOKErty 4-5 days to respond to any messages and its been nearly 2 weeks since the boots arrived and I have gotten 2 responses from them.

AVOID and deal with a local shoemaker. Quality & size will be better and price only slightly more. For clothes, deal with INDOCHINO since they have LOCAL STORES, do not charge for shipping on remakes, and have EXCELLENT quality.

I ordered a suit I right before an event I had before lockdown. Lockdown cancelled my event no big deal, and my suit arrived. It was grotesquely oversized. When I contacted them, they asked for pictures which I sent and they said I would have to see a tailor which all were closed due to lockdown. And when lockdown ended hockerty claimed it was too late and the best they could do was a gift card to them.

Every so often I forget to look at reviews, usually it turns out OK, but this time was a huge fail.

I am a somewhat large around the middle person and I have been wanting a Mandarin style collarless suit jacket for a while now.

I purchased the suit jacket from them excited that there was a way to get a tailored suit online for only $199.00 USD.
I was prepared to have to have the suit jacket tailored slightly because I assumed that they would not be able to get it exactly right.

But what I received was crazy!

This Item is so far off of my measurements its shocking... Did they think I am a balloon?. Also the site wouldn't allow me to put my exact measurements in... I thought 2 inches would be fine and could be adjusted... but they made it 6 inches too big for the front of the jacket and way too big everywhere else.

There is no way this can be adjusted.

I am hoping but doubtful that I will receive a full refund if any refund. Because I cannot use this suit jacket or even give it away... no one is this size!

I hope others have a good experience, but for anyone not a "normal" size... save your money and put it towards a true tailored suit.

To be optimistic, maybe you could get measured at a tailor shop or suit store and put the exact measurements in. Be careful.

I had the misfortune of ordering a couple of suits for my wedding from this company. First of all the suits didn't turn up on time which meant I had to do a mad dash to London a couple of days before the wedding to get some alternatives. Keep in mind that I ordered the suits at the beginning of September, about 5 weeks before the wedding. Hockerty assured me they would be with me within 18 calendar days. I emailed several times to check progress and each time they assured me that they would arrive the following week. They never did. I am well aware of the current issues that are afflicting the planet so I know hockerty isn't entirely to blame for late deliveries. Its more the lack of communication and notice I have a issue with. If they had been upfront about the delays I could have organized something else with plenty of time to spare. My wedding suits now nearly match my fiancé's dress in cost due to having to buy two lots of suits.

I am writing this review the day before my wedding and I am pleased to say that one of the suits has arrived but it looks like they have chucked half of one suit in the order and half of the other one. So its no good to anyone for tomorrow. I have been informed I am not entitled to any compensation or refund so I simply will not be shopping with them again.

Oh and to top it off the cut of the suits is dreadful, the trousers look like they are bell flares - there doesn't appear to be any tapering of any kind. They appear to ship the suits wrapped up in a little ball so they are as creased as humanly possible.

I really really hope this company gets whats coming to it and goes out of business before it swindles anymore people out of their money.

They lost my parcel and didn´t even reply to my emails. They are making me responsible for the delivery service, when it is their responsability.

My parcel has been missing for like 15 days, with absoultely no news, and nobody is taking care.

Do not use this site! I ordered a $500 suit, gave them all of my measurements, and it fits me like a clown suit. It is 3 sizes too big. I do not understand how they could mess it up. Also the material is paper thin, and looks cheap. It also just ships in a bag from China... Now I have to find an alternative suit for my wedding in 8 weeks. They also do not offer refunds This company is a JOKE. Do not make the same mistake I did. This company should be shut down.

I bought a $80 tuxedo shirt which fit nicely and the fabric was good, but i now have to have it tailored because it didn't come with shirt stud button holes like EVERY OTHER TUXEDO SHIRT IN THE WORLD DOES. That is the difference between a dress shirt and a tuxedo shirt because a bowtie is standard with a tuxedo and the buttons just don't look as fancy as the studs. Customer service was snail slow as cavalier as they did not seem to care or would work with me to fix the issue. They claimed I could ask them on an email to add these in, which I did just in case - They did not. They also claim to cover tailor fees up to 25% of the original shirt.
That was never offered. This is a dress shirt, do not be fooled. I'm not the only one, google their reviews. You've been warned.

Ordered custom shirts. I entered measurements as requested by their website. Unfortunately, the size of the shirts were too small (and thus, unable to take it to a local tailor). Hockerty also makes you jump "hoops" and asks for pictures. After slow replies once you open a ticket, they will eventually offer to remake shirt. But this is the "kicker," the customer has to pay for the shipping to send the original shirts that made in the wrong size (keep in mind, it was their fault).

Besides their "Guarantee" being deceiving (they will show you the fine print where the customer is at a disadvantage), the fabric is not 100% cotton (as ordered). You can literally see through the so called "cotton" shirt.

Therefore, do yourself a favor, research other competitors that will customize your clothing accordingly (there are many). Hockery is a total scam!

I ordered and paid for a pair of pants. They arrived from China and didn't come close to fitting me in any respect. When I try to log in they tell me they don't have an account for this address; whereas, I know I do. They sent me several emails at this address thanking me for the order and telling me when to expect it. When I try to set, up the account again they tell me there is already an account for this email. In sum, they take your money, send you defective goods and then make it impossible to request a return or refund.

Not only did they promise bespoke goods to my door in 21 days and fail miserably they never bothered to inform me of delays, ignored emails, have tried to avoid responsibility and lied along the way. I recommend that Canadians stay away from this business. Spend your money where they care about customers and treat you with the respect and care you deserve.

Ordered a ‘premium' wool suit. Got a suit made of synthetic material. Very hard to raise this with Hockerty (actually, they only responded when I posted a poor review on trust-pilot). Got a few (scripted) platitudes. I sent Hockerty the photo of the wool fabric from their website and a photo of the rayon suit, which I had received. The two images were, of course, totally different. Clearly, there's been a mix-up in China, where the suits are made. Nevertheless, I asked them to confirm, on the record, their position that these photos showed the same fabric. All contact from Hockerty ceased immediately. So, I've got a crappy suit and they've got my money.

We ordered a waistcoat for my sons prom a few weeks ago. We followed the step by step instructions for measuring and placed our order, confident that we were going to get a quality product and looked forward to getting it. We were surprised because as soon as we placed our order we got a message from Shanghai to say they had started to make our waistcoat. We thought we were dealing with a company in the UK! Anyway the waistcoat arrived and that's when it all went seriously wrong. It looked poor quality and homemade and was so small my son couldn't do the buttons up and the waistcoat was uneven at the bottom. Not worth the £90 it cost us. We replied to the " made to measure guarantee" and got no reply. Can't say I was surprised. We have now got a replacement waistcoat from Marks and Spencer for £35 and 10 times so much nicer than the waistcoat from Hockerty. I would not recommend buying anything from this company. Be Warned!

I received the suit and it looks like a $60 suit. It is literally too embarrassing to even wear. I just looked up their return policy (there are no returns). They could charge a 50% restock and I would still return it. It is that ugly of a suit. Well, I wasted $270 on the suit and I am positive had I found this on a rack somewhere it would have been less than $100. It is really poor quality fabric and design is ugly too.
