Wow... i wish i could rate lower, well i bought a remote controled airsoft tank for my little brother, he wanted and personally i thought it was pretty cool myself, i received it, it could barley move when charged, the directions where written in poorly translated english and it could shoot the airsoft beebee maybe 4 inches give or take.We then of course wanted to send it back because there was a 30 day money back gurranty, we called and called and called[during the day and business week] and on 31day they called us back, we said we wanted our money back for the piece of crap and they said 'of im sorry the 30 day money back gurrante has expired', then they hung up... STAY AWAY... horrible web site probably based in some foreign country very very bad and if you buy you will get a worthless broken peice of!@#% snd won't get your money back – 8/3/2010

Do not purchase anything from the hobbytron.com website. I purchased radio-controlled electric truck and had it sent to my grandson. When he received it, the trucks wheels were broken inside the box (not due to delivery). My daughter mailed the truck back to Hobbytron the next day and they now have the defective truck. That was two months ago. They have been called numerous times to no avail. Most of the time they do not answer or say to call back during business hours (this is the middle of a weekday). Their chat line is always "offline".

I should have checked this website out. They have hundreds of complaints and the Better Business Bureau gave them an F rating. My only alternative now is to go through my credit card company to see what they can do get my money back. Also, read their policy. They state if you go through your credit card company, they will charge you $50. Their policy is totally hostile to the consumer and the company should be shut down.

I recently used hobbytron.com to purchase four airsoft weapons for cheap affordable prices in hopes to use those weapons for filming short film video projects. One of the four guns I ordered was advertised as small, which I did not notice at the time. Upon arrival I intended to return the gun in hopes to exchange it for a larger one. When my package arrived I opened the box to discover that two of the other guns were also small guns. They were not advertised as small guns. No scale was provided at all, leading people to believe that they were of natural size. Upon this I became upset and immediately sought to return these weapons in exchange for refund. The process at which I needed to go through to fill out the proper paperwork for return was difficult. Links to return forms were not working properly. Finally I got the forms printed out, yet I still had questions to ask. Furthermore, the fourth weapon I purchased was defective. To this they informed me that they would send me a replacement. I sought to call their customer support line, trying to contact them three times. I called during there business hours, only to be informed that they were closed. A replacement gun had arrived in the mail, and it was different from the original gun that I had ordered. Apparently it is stated in their policies that they have every right to change the product you receive at their discretion. Finally on my fourth attempt to contact them by phone I was able to get a hold of a representative, and although my temper may not have been under control at this point. I, as the costumer, should not have been treated as rudely as I was. The operator on the other end gave me attitude, and was impolite. The operator acted in a way that seemed hostile, eager to hang up and end their conversation with me. They offered me no consolation for the money and time I had wasted with there company and services. On top of which, they informed me that under yet another policy, I was responsible for paying for the shipping and handling costs of returning the items that were sent to me under false pretenses. I suggest against the use of hobbytron.com, and hope that anyone looking to buy toys, or airsoft guns look elsewhere for a more reliable and friendly site.
