Here is my limited experience: ordered a helicopter for my kid. Doesn't work. Return it. Replaced with another one. Doesn't work. Return it. I've now spent in shipping as much as the price. But I soldier on, order three items for Christmas a week out. Am guaranteed they'll be there. It is Christmas now in fact. They are not here.
I have tried to reach them by email and phone for days. Screw me apparently.
This company is terrible. Stay away. "

Terrible ustomer service.
I order two weeks ago, received a receipt, but the order number appears to be invalid. My credit card was charged however,
I have tried Live Chat and got through after an hour. I was told by their representative that I would get a call back before the end of the day, but did not.
I have been trying today for hours to get someone via Live a Chat or by phone for over two hours today, with no luck. Live Chat does not answer, and after being put on hold For ten minutes, five different times, I ended up on voice mail five times. Very frustrating!
With no response from them, I plan to dispute the charges.
I will never use this company again and strongly suggest people stay away from them

Bought airsoft gun from them which jammed after 10 minutes. Filled out RMA online and then spent 15 minutes in chat session; was told that "this gun is covered by manufacturer's warranty" and that HobbyTron would not give me a replacement or refund. When i asked for manager, she called me with all manner of attitude. When i asked to speak to President, she said she was "as high as it goes" and that he didn't take phone calls and had hired her to deal with stuff like this. NEVER BUY FROM THEM.

This is a horrible company. I signed up for their subscription service. The first box came late and one of the helicopters are broken. This month I just got another broken helicopter in my subscription box. I cannot believe I was fooled by good reviews. Everyone I have seen says they are nothing but trash. I am done. This is a horrible company and they are fleecing people by sending them nothing but trash. I signed up for a 6 month program and that was a huge mistake. I want out of the subscription service and I want my money back. I wasted $179.00 on nothing but broken junk.

I think that hobbytron is the best store i ever heard of it got the best guns and the best toys and it got all type of guns any guns you want and most of the guns and toys are cheap and most of the gun and toys are free shipping

I ordered an RC Helicopter from this site, which took two weeks to receive. Once I received the helicopter, I could not get it to work with the transmitter. It took a number of days to contact HobbyTron; phones go unanswered, emails unanswered, although the chat on their site was eventually responded to (after about 20 minutes, that was the quickest response).
I told them I wanted to return item for a refund; they said I'd have to fill out a form and get an RMA. So I did that, sent the item back at my own cost, and waited. After about 10 days I checked the delivery confirmation and found that they had received it, so I got on their chat and asked about the status. (that was another long wait) I was told I could have a replacement shipped (in about 3 weeks) or a store credit. I told them I just wanted the charge reversed on my card. They said since I opened the box they couldn't refund my money.

They are a Google trusted store... I contacted Google, got strung along for several days, offered a $ 50.00 gift card for my trouble, and told that that's Hobbytron's policy if the box is opened, store credit.

I don't want a store credit, and have to extend the piss poor experience with this POS company.

I would avoid these thieves at any cost - and as for 'Google Trusted', that's just a big joke.

Ordered an airsoft gun. It arrived with a broken handle. They issued an RMA, but catch 22. YOU CAN'T RMA THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN OPENED! The airsoft gun was in a box that you just like the top off to see what is inside. The handle was broken. How would I know it is broken otherwise? At the very least you get store credit or a replacement (I still want the gun so replacement works). But they lock you into their company even if you feel like taking your money elsewhere. So basically you can only RMA things if you order it and never open it and don't want it, but I mean, you ordered it...

Customer service was decent, but when I said the handle was "$#*!ing" broken the rep responded with a threat to disconnect me and block future chats for swearing. As if it was a hostile remark at them or as if I had been on a swearing rampage. It was one word, once. I directed no anger at them. I don't see "swear" words as "bad" words and use variations of "$#*!" to describe things. Just as $#*!ING broken handles. I use it casually so it just sorta came out. I probably wouldn't have used a "swear" word again anyway. But being threatened to not be helped because of a swear word? Come on, that is bad customer service.

ATTENTION: DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE! I speak for a lot of people when I say this company is truly garbage. I hope this message will get through to at least one person, as I feel that the message I have needs to be heard. This may be unprofessional of me to rant on the internet about this topic, but I feel like this is called for. Personally, I'm only 15 years old, defending my little brother and his broken heart. First off, they sent me the wrong product, and it was horrible quality! On top of all that, they offered almost NO customer support for us at all! Their policies are BS, and they definitely need to change. If you don"t believe me, look at most of the other reviews, you will find many more complaints about this website! Way to ruin a nine years old's dream, HobbyTron. Away from this website, please! If I took away anything from this website and the order we placed, I would say the HobbyTron is a business full of greedy people that don't care at all about their customers.
