Check out line had 10 people waiting. Manager opened a new register and told me that all the people in the other line were in line first and were the next customer in line. Rude and incompetent attitude toward customer service. Aisles horribly crowded with displays, barely enough room to pass between. Store was dirty. Anderson, SC
I explained to the manger that the Cardstock Paper Isle was way too dark. I explained that it was important to be able to see the different shades of colors. The top of the shelving is filled with bins. She told me they needed to store the overflow in each isle and that it needed to stay in the same place. However, I pointed out that there were bins on the top that had nothing to do with paper. I suggested they swap something that didn't go that high so the light would be projecting down so we could see what we needed to purchase. She said no without looking or considering my request. This was not unreasonable considering we need to see what the specific colors we need for projects. I left feeling dismissed and clearly the customer service was lacking.
This company is disgustingly horrible with its cheap and overpriced decor! Paper thin furniture and rude, racist employees!
I went to hobby lobby today off of 95th Kansas. They had Clarence on paints. The little orange sticker in front of all these different paints so I picked out two of each color of 20 different paints I get up there to pay for them. Then I realize some of them did not have the stickers but most of them did. And the month without the stickers they would not sell to me on Clarence for cashier even told the manager that it showed stickers on every item back there on those kind of paints and the manager said I don't care she's not going to get them for that price. I said can I take you back there and show you and she just grab the paint off the counter she goes you're not going to get them and walked off. And I had two colors it was the exact same color purple two of them one had the sticker one did not and she wouldn't let me have them. I will never walk in that hobby lobby again
Went into the store today just to look around and found some stuff that was on sale, had signs around places that had percents off. Grabbed a few items in those sections and even got a coupon ONLINE to use in the store, it even said i could show the cashier to get the percents off. Went to check out, and the items were not any percent off and it was very disappointing and misleading. Pulled up the coupon on my phone and the cashier said that they didn't do online coupons anymore. She had a very bad attitude as well. Very disappointed in my shopping experience :/ do better.
Morgan the manager at Santa Clarita store will descriminate against you if you are Disabled in a wheel chair like me, he should not be reprsenting your company his actions towards the handicapped are unforgivable not to mention criminal, why would a able body person do that if they dont need some kind of help? I just went home did not finish my shopping day in the area, it brought me back to not going out because everyone stares, but its never been from a Manager of a company that ive purchased from since they opened in Burbank this was my last time going to santa clarita with Manager Morgan. I see your poor ratins with the BBB this wont help, and i dont think a picket line with 100 wheel chairs will help buisness but it will get that store on prime time news.
The Hobby Lobby store recently opened up in Avon from day one I started doing business with them. I recently purchased a can of spray paint and the instructions said to Serta screwdriver turn in to get the cap off. When I inserted the screwdriver and turned it paint started spewing out everywhere. The paint ruined my desk my chair and my floor. I took the can back to Hobby Lobby and said it's really not fair just to get the price of the $3 can of paid but I would have been satisfied with a new work mat. The manager very matter-of-factly said I need to call the manufacturer. I said I bought it here and he didn't even ask me what would make me happy and I would have been happy with only part of my stuff replaced a very little investment on his part. I didn't expect everything to be replaced but I expected some better customer service and I received, the manager had no intentions of doing anything for me. If this is the way that they go to market I refuse to buy at any Hobby Lobby in the future I will buy my craft supplies anywhere else.
Bought this from hobbylobby... and all the tubes are empty or fill just woth air... which is extremely disappointing
I just started trying my hand at crafting and it's been a learning experience! But, purchasing all the items I need at Hobby Lobby has been a smooth transition. They carry everything a crafter needs plus, they always run a discount (depending on the day of the week) You can find the most unique products there. From wood pieces, jewelry pieces to scrap book paper and decorations for the yard! Furniture, beautiful flowers and so much more! I definitely recommend them for crafter's but for anyone looking to find great products at affordable prices!
Nasty attitudes from employees at store 296 in High Point NC, very unsatisfied with my experience….!
I just spent $289.00 in Hobby Lobby. My daughter-in-law and I were speaking about veterans and whether Target gave veterans discounts or not and the cashier told us that they don't give any veterans discounts at hobby lobby. I then went and spoke with the manager he said they don't give any discounts at all. First he said we don't give seniors, which I am, that I don't care about. Then he said no we do not give veterans discounts. That I do care about we are free because of those men and women that served and they should get every discount possible! On Monday I will be returning the merchandise that I purchased and I will never shop there again nor will I support them! How very sad to claim to be a Christian business who doesn't support our military and our veterans. Not my kind of store thank you very much
Got a travel poster framed. When I got home and picked it up it felt loose. Glass broke. Employee there when I brought it back said it was not properly framed and reglazed it with additional packing. They charged me full price for glass anyway and said there were no refunds/credits on any merchandise once it left the store.
In other words no matter how shoddy their work by their own admission the managers will not give you a credit. Run, do not walk, away from this place. It's terrible that they give Christianity such a bad rep.
Just wanted to write a quick review to say thank you Yosh for all your hard work with getting heavy items into the car! Customer service has been great by all the employees in this store!
If you have something framed take the plastic wrapping off before you leave the store, and why would you wrap an item before the customer saw it? So it obscures the unprofessional job that was done. Very unhappy with both items I had done, framed art not straight, wrinkled, matting does not lay flat against the art. Take your art somewhere else.
My daughter completed an application online which included her date of birth. She also answered no to the question are you 18 years or older. Due to a snowstorm in our area, she called the day before to confirm interview time. She then drove one hour one way in the snow to her interview. She was turned away at the door due to her age and not being 18 years or older. She was 4 weeks from turning 18. Do they not read their applications before scheduling interviews?
Love shopping at Hobby Lobby. Love how its christian-based and the employees are great. Love shopping there when it's the Christmas season.
I was in Hobby lobby today and there was a stand with many different items on it with a sign above it that said 50% off home Decor. I took something off this display to purchase and at the register the employee advised me that this was regular priced item when I advised that it was on a table that indicated 50% off he said it was only home decor and this was considered a table decor item. I did purchase the item because I wanted it however I did talk to the manager and let them know that I thought this was deceptive practice to display items under a sign that said 50% off even though those items were not going to be sold at 50% off. She advised me that it's up there so that we could know as consumers other items that would possibly match with it. Completely made no sense. Just recommend that you really pay attention to what you're buying and what the sign say in this store.
So we were in line to check out, there are 2 registered open, i have 1person in front of me the line next to me has the same they open a 3rd register, I move to it. The larger and incharge person standing behind all of the registers tell me I can't check out until the lady from the other line comes around and checks out. The only difference is one is black one is white! The other didn't even move when the 3rd line open and even said so. Large and in charge told her that she needed to come in front of me.
The website has a beautiful display ( https://www.hobbylobby.com/Seasonal/c/12) of BlueBird plates. Can you buy them? NO. Not in the stores and they are not listed on their website either. Emailed customer service, that was a waste of my time.
Advertising sale prices and charging full price at the register this is intentional!
I refuse to be taken advantage of in this way
Answer: This shop reeks of racism. I will be using Michaels. Thank you
Answer: Unethically legit. HL really needs to evaluate their own marketing plan and step up their hiring practices in addition to stop buying B2B products from outside mass production sources. At least look at the quality before sticking and reselling total garbage. And ask yourselves "why are our employees so miserable"? Unhealthy culture = unhappy customers.
Answer: I have never been to Winston-Salem in North Carolina.
