False Advertising

In Boise HL on N. Milwaukee, "table decor" presently ranges from 40-50% off. When I approached the till with a full cart of what was under the sale signs, I was told by one friendly cashier that "the signs are misleading" because many items on the 50% off displays are not actually on sale. This kind cashier consulted with a neighbouring, officious cashier who explained that the displays are filled with non-sale items to enhance the displays. She was speaking loudly from her till, and I quietly asked her to come closer so she wouldn't have to yell, as I didn't want to make a scene. Her words: "sorry you can't hear me!" She was condescending, loud and rude.

The staff there is very helpful and and is willing to go above and beyond to meet your expectations. Manager Melanie should be commended on her efforts in making Hobby Lobby the best store in Columbus. Melanie went above and beyond in helping me put together a decorative piece for my kitchen table,
It looks so beautiful! She took her time to make sure that I was satisfied with the decorative item she put together. Every time I'm in there Melanie and her staff welcome me and ask if I need any help. Melanie deserves a promotion or a raise because I've been to all the Hobby Lobby's and the Reynoldsburg store is the best.

Beware of sale signs

For a supposedly Christian business, these guys have sleazy business practices. I walked in yesterday, and saw a big sign on the candles, 40% off, so I got several to stock up. When I go to check out, the cashier does not take the 40% off. I reminded her and she pulls out the sign. In tiny little writing at the bottom it says, For any product over $2.99. Out of my 15 items, only 1was over $2.99! But by then you are already checked out and there were 8 people in line behind me(another BIG problem)! So beware this "Christian business" will screw you any way possible!

Not very helpful

Visited the Hobby Lobby in Harrisonburg and had a question about stabilizer for embroidery. I was told she didn't do that and that I should google it. I realize a person can't be expected to know everything however she made no attempt to get me further assistance or try to help me figure it out. They were not busy, I was the only customer in the department.She had a co-worker but I found her to be cold and not seemingly wanting to be bothered. When I was checking out the cashier had had all the mannerisms of a robot and wasn't personable at all. It

Today I was at the hobby lobby on Rte 248 in Easton the store was crowded a lot of lines and I had a return so I had to stand in a long slow line i feel the lines would move quicker if the store had scanners as well as the cashier picking up speed this the second time I went to this store and the checkouts suck! And also I had to stand in line for 20 minutes to watch a cashier chewing gum like crazy! Not good customer service!

I passed an aisle where there was a woman sitting on the floor. An employee was bringing her a wheelchair. Past getting her off the floor, the staff refused any help. I was told it was against their policy to call 911. I called for the woman and wheeled her out front to meet the ambulance while the employees watched and then silently went back to work. I will never step foot in another Hobby Lobby again. It's not safe for women my age. Anything can happen at any point and I would expect some sort of action from the staff.

10 days had gone by and the company they were shipping with (Ontrac) had not seen my package. Called customer service (that kept talking over me) three times and finally they found it and claimed it was normal to have a package take by now 12 days to get to the shipper. Is now been 16 days and I have not seen my package. I asked to have it cancelled and they said no...I just need to be patient while they work it out? Never will order from them again!

When I ordered my 3 items the online- timeline said I would receive order in 2 buss. Days! Lies- all lies! I ordered on the 6th, it's now the 12th and the order showed tracking on the 8th but has been sitting waiting to be shipped STILL AND ITS THE 12TH. Questionable tactics

I went to Hobby Lobby today, and promised myself that if it happened again, I would not patronize the store again. And...sure enough, it happened! I purchased a ceramic tray from a display area that said 50% off in large print atop the display. In much smaller print it said Wall Decor and listed several items. I intended to put the tray on a shelf with small flower pots on it. They didn't give me the 50% off because it wasn't "wall" decor. The tray cost $34.99! This is the 3rd time that I have fallen for their intentionally ambiguous advertising. It really bothers me that they care so little for their customers that they purposely try to trick them. With all of the Christian based merchandise, this is especially offensive. I returned everything in my order, a total of almost $70.00, I can't get back the 90 minutes I wasted. I won't be going back. I gave them 2 stars because their employees were very nice,

Refused Exchange or Refund

I went into the Waterloo, IA store today with a receipt and damaged merchandise. The balloon straw and the plastic wrap was missing but that shouldn't have prevented an exchange. I informed them the balloon column kit was defective as well. Most of the balloons either popped or were misshapen. They didn't care, the manager kept saying I can't resell that. My reply was you shouldn't it's defective! How rude.

Terrible selection

The selection at the Ballwin MO store was junk! After an hour of shopping had one item in my cart. Was told no coupons are available anymore. The clerk was so rude. Shop there for years, never again.

Customer service/store manager- very rude! Signs posted for 50% and 40% sales, the manager would not honor or even willing to go look at the sale tags/items I was wanting to purchase. What's even worse a different customer service employee said they should be honoring the sales that are posted unfortunately she wasn't the one checking my items out. It's very unfortunate because this could be a fabulous store!

The store is always clean, neat and easy to do your shopping any day, season or event. Customer Service is exceptional. Lots of items marked down with sales. Sales persons speak professionally and always answer my questions. Isabella in the Dawsonville, Georgia store helped me put together a beautiful framed vacation poster. She even saved me money and time as she put the picture frame together and contacted me it was ready for pickup! I love the positive values this company bases so much of their work ethics upon.

Never order online!

Customer service at hobby lobby sucks. I've had several experiences where customer service isn't even halfway decent. For example today, they rang up something wrong. Like $100 too much. But I had three different tickets because I got so much. So I had no idea what was rang up wrong. I went back to ask what to do. If I needed to bring back everything inside for them to figure it out. The manger was like calm down. Calm down. I said I'm not upset. I just want to know what to do. But he wouldn't even let me finish asking him before he started with that. He said oh just come back another day since it's crowded. Sir I live 45 minutes away. It's not easy for me to just get in back up here. Just rude when there was no reason for it.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

I order two show racks ( $60) and was told 9 day delivery. I recieved my parcel 20 days late and instead of two shoe racks I received a $2.00 pair of ear muffs. I reached out twice and they haven't returned my messages.

Poor customer service

These people have little to no customer service completely unwilling to help at all could careless attitude and want to just get rid of you. Disgusting that a company would not monitor and see the most unfriendly service I've ever had and that is always. Not just once! I finally am fed up with the rude could careless if I help you responses
