Great experience working with hobby lobby frame shop in Florence, South Carolina. The customer service was wonderful, my order was perfect specifications, and looks beautiful thank you so much!
Came to Hobby Lobby to get an exact measurement for a piece of artwork I ordered and wanted Hobby Lobby to frame it for me. Unfortunately that didn't happen because their customer service stopped and someone stood by my side to escort me out of the store. Definitely looking for a different establishment to fulfill my artwork needs. Very disheartening!
Hobby Lobby makes a habit of putting up signs with 50% Off or 66%Off all over the store and on displays with a large assortment of items but when you go to check out they charge you full price on the items that were on the display table. When caught doing this they say, "Oh that's not an item that is on sale."
Then why is there a sign in front of, or next to, it that says 50% Off?
Here's an idea, why not put these signs only near items that ARE on sale?
I think we all know why there are full priced items mixed in with the sale items and it's not unintentional.
Buyer beware...
Employees at EVERY Hobby Lobby act miserable, as though they hate working there. We were trying to find 18 baseball T-Shirts for a dance performance today in Lincoln. Drove to Omaha and manager said they didn't have them two minutes before we found them. There weren't quite enough in the sizes needed, so I called the Lincoln Hobby Lobby, and waited on hold for 4 minutes for "wearable art dpt." She was the most helpful, but still sounded burnt out. Still not quite all we needed, so I called the LaVista location, and geeeez louise.
The woman didn't even know the store carried T-shirts, much less baseball tees. She kept talking over me and I had to repeat the needed sizes and color several times. When I told her we needed 3 XL youth, she told me she doubted they carried XL youth.?! (YES they do) . When she came back, she said there weren't any adult tees. I told her they were in a different location from the youth, and she said, "I know, I had someone check and we couldn't find any." So we decided to scrap the idea of $10 baseball tees (a total of 40 … or $400) and just go with Michael's red tees. Just ridiculous.
For a store with "Christian" owners, it thoroughly disgusts me that they are putting Christmas items out in June! I had to leave the store and I won't ever be going back.
You're a #, not a human.
You're hired for 1 title and expected to do 5 jobs at once.
Cutting hours because they aren't given payroll $ to staff the store.
Most illogical place to work in my 30 years experience.
Not enough staff to run the store correctly or efficiently.
Very sad Christian ethics.
Made a large purchase on Saturday only to find out most of the items went on sale the next day, Sunday. The cashier told us we could bring back the items that went on sale for a price difference, this was the Round Rock store. We ended up going to the Hobby Lobby in Georgetown since we live there. We were told by a cashier that we could not get a price difference because we failed to bring one item back on the receipt, a handbag that we know wasn't on sale.
We were basically told "since you didn't buy it here, we can't pull video to see what you bought. So we can't do a piece adjustment."
Pull video, what kind of crap is that, I had the receipt and all items untouched still in the same bag, minus the handbag.
Even though we told them we were told to bring back the items that went on sale, untouched, we were refused service.
Felt like we were profiled, why would video need to be pulled in the first place?. We had the items untouched, the original bag, and the receipt. Bad business practice, oh and missy, you know who you are, good thing we couldn't see your name tag cause I would have blasted your name in here.
I used to shop at hobby lobby for art paint and spend $200-300 every other week when is 50% now I don't
I just wanted to give a great shout out to Vincent Reyes, he went beyond what anyone would do. I brought my pictures in to have new glass done and some mats made for these old pictures. The glass was not cut to right size nor was mats so he called me to bring frames in and he measured and put them back together. He went the extra mile and used white gloves to put glass in and blew out dust and debris. He even took the old nails out and stapled it for me. He was such an awesome guy to help me. If want your professional framing done go see Vincent Reyes in Greenville Hobby Lobby.he evened wrapped them
I ordered three Bottles of RIT dye on 5/19 it stated up to 7 buisness days got emailon 5/22 statingshipped DHL... well DHL tracking did not exist.I contacted customer service then received an email on 5/28 stating item was shipped USPS.? So its now 6/3 and still nothing? I have canceled order.
Already said this brand needs to be said again horrible customer service very rude no knowledge of products when you're asking where to find something they have no idea and best case scenario the point with a finger down this way and that's about as good as you'll get and the products are usually half used it's ridiculous
I found a picture on a table marked 50 percent off. At the cash register I was charged full price. I told the cashier it was 50 percent off and she said only selected items are 50 percent off! Then why was it on the same table where the 50 percent off sign was? This is false advertising and misleading your customers.
It is the end of MAY why is everything decorated for fall? I came in for summer decorations am I late? Did I have to buy summer decor in February? Very disappointing!
The Hobby Lobby store located in Palm Coast FL has terrible customer service. The lack of customer service is deplorable and the associates don't know what they have or where inside the store products are located. At the registers many times they ring up the wrong prices so be sure you watch them closely. They even argue with customers when the customers are right. The manager doesn't know very much either and seems to ignore the associate's unfriendly attitudes, she mostly just stands by the door and if you're lucky she may acknowledge you. Ask her where something is and she has trouble telling you where it is as well. I wonder who is responsible for putting merchandise on the shelves. I like shopping there and happy we have a hobby lobby in our small town but the employees need extensive training especially when it comes to being polite and respectful to their customers that are making purchases. The shopping experience should be enjoyable but the atmosphere is negative The employee behavior sets a negative energy and the environment perpetrated by the employees set a bad example for most people shopping in the store. Everyone looks miserable. I thought hobby lobby was a sort of religious attitude kind of store but it sure doesn't seem that way. I hope the upper management cares and decides to put forth an effort in making hobby lobby a better place to shop. Lord knows we can all use more kindness for each other for a more pleasurable experience.
Why, oh why are there long check-out lines at ONE overworked check-out person?...and most of them are so professional and courteous despite the poor management or corporate planning. Also, there are usually two or three check-out counters with only one of them in use, and if the lines get extremely long, which they always do, a poor overworked store manager who is doubtless not allowed to improve the check-out process, will call for an employee to open a second check-out line, always giving the excuse that they are short-staffed. Whether this is true or not, I don't know, but it doesn't address the central issue of a poor check-out process. Sometimes opening a second line results in people jockeying for position in the new line...not a pleasant sight. It would be SO EASY to have one line that feeds into all three counters like Marshall's, Kohl's, Joann, Michael's and other stores that have made check-out an easy process. There is NO REASON ON EARTH that Hobby Lobby couldn't do the same thing. This is one big reason why the satisfaction level is so low at HL. I can't imagine what their problem is...unless it is terrifically low morale at corporate and no one cares at all what happens to the company.
I purchased a Mario racing toy for my son. It did not work after trying multiple C batteries. So I wanted to return it. Because of how the box was opened they wouldn't process the refund nor give me store credit. Wow, I'm sorry my son was excited a opened the top of the box roughly, however your store is selling nonfunctional children's toys. And this is a store owned by church people. Horrible customer service.
Georgia E was checking me out.
The puzzle section had a sign that stated 40 percent off.
She charge me full price. I told her about the 40 percent off sign. Very rude she said go back and bring me the sign. I am 71 and walk on a cane.
Another cashier came over and pointed to the ad peron on the register and without a word gave me the 40 percent off. No apologies for being rude or accusing me of being wrong. I will not be returning and tell my story everywhere.
I don't appreciate being treated like a thief.
Taylors SC store 328.
Georgia E on tape
I ordered from them approximately 10 days ago. My order was to be delivered on the 31st by the end of the day. I tried to track the package and no it has no date on it now. Just sitting in limbo. Never again.
I went in to return an item. I had the wrong receipt. The salesgirl was snotty and rude and treated me like an idiot. I wanted to purchase the correct item. She told me I couldn't go through the store with the bag. When I went to leave she then told me I could leave it at the front desk. I said thank you and left. She continues to talk to me as I am leaving. I'm now on my way to Joann's fabric to spend my mo ey there instead. I will never go back.
Answer: This shop reeks of racism. I will be using Michaels. Thank you
Answer: Unethically legit. HL really needs to evaluate their own marketing plan and step up their hiring practices in addition to stop buying B2B products from outside mass production sources. At least look at the quality before sticking and reselling total garbage. And ask yourselves "why are our employees so miserable"? Unhealthy culture = unhappy customers.
Answer: I have never been to Winston-Salem in North Carolina.
