I could not edit my last review, so this is an addendum. Concerning that last purchase, the over all price seemed too high and I suspected some overcharges on sale items. I took everything back and the clerk wasted nearly a half hour trying to determine how the previous clerk rang up the items and could not match everything. She finally went back under the receipts bard code, deleted everything and re-rang it (which is what should have been done in the first place). This is another big issue- this lengthy return/ price check process which would have been facilitated by using sku/ bar codes on each item. Anyway the total overcharge was $50.60 yes, no lie.
Note: whenever returning or doing a price adjustment, all items must be brought back on that particular receipt. And forget about returning fabric. If you take back fabric for whatever reason, it is remeasured. Now if the previous clerk mismeasured or shorted you, they're not going to believe that they made the error. So be very careful when getting fabric and make sure you watch the clerk measuring the yardage.
Clearance items, though identical, are marked different prices. When you question staff, they claim the 2 products came in at different times. So What? You obviously can't sell it, that's why you marked it as clearance. The sale prices are only honored depending on a cashier who knows the merchandise. Many will not check the flyer and will charge you regular price. NONE of the items are checked out under appropriate categories or SKU/ bar code, thereby making it more difficult for the customer to track errors. Many of the male clerks don't know the difference between sewing items or a needle craft item like crochet or knit products. If it sparkles, it's automatically jewelry. All Christmas 50% off! Yeah right, in your dreams. Guess what? Microscopic sugar cookies in tins aren't 50% off because they're supposedly already reduced. Bunch of crap! They put a yellow price sticker on it to make you think it's reduced. I have rechecked fabric yardage at home only to discover that it was short because not everyone knows how to measure fabric. If a piece of fabric is 1 yard, that means 36 inches through the full width of the fabric- it can't be 32 inches at one end while it is 36 at the other. Returns are such an issue that all customers become witness to the staff berating the person who dared to return something. Oh, and that 50% off or whatever percentage is calculated in their favor to where they gain a penny on each item. You may say that's no big deal but consider how many items are sold at how many stores over the years and it becomes a very wealthy profit. And don't you dare remind that cashier that you bought only sale items to make it affordable because she will dress you down and make you look like a creep.
Christian? Christian beliefs? Satan's disciples more like it, because they are rude, disrespectful, contradictory, apathetic, deceptive, and dishonest
Your art supplies are for amateurs and are third rate at best. My husband bought me some of your watercolor paper it was so bad I threw it out. Tried to take the other pads back and without a receipt would only give 40% of the price. Their paper is so bad they don't even want it. Go to Micheals or buy online.
It's so disappointing as a customer to see fall decorations displayed for such a short period of time and before the fall season even begins Christmas decorations take over.
Very disappointing product. Would not purchase again. See attached note from my daughter. Product didn't work as advertised.
No longer do give 30%, 40%, 50% of everything only some holiday decorations and certain items. Buyer be where you can buy on Amazon cheaper.
I'd like to thank Lizzy and Patrick at the Fairview Heights, Illinois Hobby Lobby for doing an incredible job with my pictures.
Hobby Lobby hires the best and I'd never consider going anywhere else.
Thanks again!
Employees fired there under there own surveillance on days that they never worked on; ads are a scam as these do not match the ads; Cashier Register test disappears by "management"; beware of management practises here--they need a warm body--they do not care who you are!
Kimberly had provided outstanding customer service. We needed a photo to be framed asap. Kimberly framed our photo with her extremely busy schedule and did an excellent job. I will always go to her now. Kudos to Kimberly! Thx Hobby z lobby to have employee like Kim.
I have ordered from HobbyLobby.com many times.
Recently, they "upgraded" their website, and now nothing works.
I cannot get past the address confirmation page. It tells me "something went wrong, try again"
When calling, their customer service gives no answers, but gives plenty of attitude.
It's been over 2 weeks, and still no fix.
So this was my first time there, I usually go to Michael's or Joanns, only because that's what's close to me, but they didn't have what I needed, and Hobby Lobby did, at a lower price too! Couldn't find Sculpy glaze gloss anywhere, but Hobby Lobby had it for $4.99 verses Michael's $6.49, or Joanne's $6.49, or walmart $8, so I'm one happy camper. The employees were very helpful, and very nice, it's my new fav store. Please open one in Palm Harbor or Tarpon, you guys are killing it..
Sharing my recent experience at Hobby Lobby, Fresno CA, Blackstone Ave store with unprofessional framer SAVANA B, store manager LAURA and the entire framing department.
I trusted Hobby lobby to frame my valuable painting and unfortunately, there has been a significant oversight in the framing process that has led to the compromise of the artwork.
When I initially submitted the painting for framing, I explicitly communicated my preference for using museum glass instead of acrylic sheet for the frame. Agreeing to this, I allowed framers to go ahead with the framing process and put needles on the hand spun cloth, on which painting has been made. This preference was not only discussed in person with the representative who assisted me, but it was also documented in the order details and clearly mentioned on the bill that was provided to me. I believed that my preferences had been acknowledged and would be duly followed.
Regrettably, upon receiving the framed painting after 2 weeks, I was disheartened to discover that fibre was used instead of the requested glass, without any communication or consent.
While receiving the panting the framer didn't even mention that they used fibre. We found it out! Later on we asked them to replace it with museum glass, to which they agreed again, and asked us to come after one week. When we went back to the store again, they mentioned they can't get the museum glass for our painting. This was an absolute disappointment for us. They not only wasted our time but compromised the art piece.
When I discussed this with the Store manager, Laura, she didn't even appropriately addressed the issue. Till date they are withholding our painting and asking us to pay for it!
Please choose an experienced framer for your art pieces. I am never going to trust Hobby Lobby again. Very rude staff, low quality services and zero customer satisfaction!
Framing department employee, Avery, in the Las Cruces, NM store, has been an outstanding and creative assistant to me with framing my large collection of art. She has helped me choose perfect custom frame and matting materials to enhance the beauty of the art. Always patient, professional, and helpful. Overall great customer service in this framing department.
My wife went in to hobby lobby on 8/24/23 to buy grime for photos, and had to use the restroom.
As she went in the restroom a female employee ran in on her to find my in the stall to use restroom.
Our daughter was outside waiting for her Mom to come out and a male employee came to her and ask" is that your boyfriend or your husband that went into the women's bathroom.
She told him no that is my mom!
As my wife came out the male and two women was telling ladies not to go in the restroom because a man was in there.
Management was not concerned at all about this.
NOTE:my wife is battling Brest cancer and has very little hair. This store is on max leggett road in Jacksonville Florida.
If you are fighting cancer do not go in not hobby lobby they will embarrass you and embarrass you family.
Went to the Dixie store in Louisville today and as usual they only had one checkout lane open and 8 people in line. At least at Walmart you have the option of self checkout.
I've never been the one to pull the race card, but yesterday I was racially profiled/humiliated/embarrassed. My son and I went to purchase supplies for his business at Hobby Lobby I paid for the supplies with a hundred dollar bill. The cashier instantly call for a manager. Manager took my money, to another register, came back to me, holding the hundred in the air, loudly telling me, she wasn't gonna accept my money, because it wouldn't scan, and I should maybe take it to the bank, maybe they will take it, maybe not, insinuating I was trying to pass a counterfeit bill. I politely asked her to scan it again. She then told me, that she couldn't, because their machines wasn't warmed up. "Make this make sense" So that means, she never scanned my money in the first place. I then told her, to warm all the machines up and I'll wait for her to verify my real money! She also told another employee that, I could say whatever, she don't care. She totally embarrassed me in front of a line full of people. After her last statement, I told her to stop talking to me, and get to verifying that money. She then said she will take the money, only because she's choosing to. Wow Hobby Lobby, in Cedar Hill, Texas store number 247, "Ms Marilyn" is a real racist! Hobby Lobby need to get it together! I am a hard working, black mother, thank you for disrespecting me in front of my 15 year old son!
This sale leads many customers into a trap because we miss their tiny prints that is very important.
Why do they post the price range in small prints apply to 99 cents?
I feel that I was tricked.
The hobby lobby in North Port Florida Needs to put at least 2 employees at the fabric department when they have a discount on fabric.
The employee, Donna was doing her best but so slow. Ugh!
I have been a huge supporter of Hobby Lobby for years. I appreciate the Christian values they uphold. Recently, I had my first issue ever with a product there. I had bought a few sets of tumblers with lids to use as party favors, which I added a custom permanent vinyl print to. Well I never thought to check that the lids fit the tumblers, because I just expected them to fit. At the party, my guests discovered that 4 of the tumblers could not fit lids. We tried every single lid and none of them fit. So 4 of my guests had to leave without party favors, and I wasted my expensive vinyl on the design on the defective cups. When I reached out to customer service, they didn't seem to care at all that I had lost money, time, and had to deal with this frustration. They told me I had to go out of my way to return the product to a store (the nearest one is 30 minutes away from me). They also said they would not be providing any sort of compensation for the money, time, and sanity lost. I even suggested I bring the cups back for a refund (and to verify that the lids in fact don't fit), but letting me keep the cups, since they cannot do anything with them as they are defective and have my custom design on them already. They will not let me do that, nor will they provide me a $5 gift card or coupon as an apology and compensation for the money lost on the vinyl. They literally did nothing to make up for this huge headache, which really surprised and disappointed me. The customer service rep was very cold and uncaring and made no effort to try and help me. I expected so much more from a company I thought shared my values and cared about their customers.
First and foremost, I should've listened to the reviews online regarding this company, before ordering anything from them. They have by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I ordered four items two of which were a housewarming gift, I received only two items, and did NOT receive the most important items I ordered! I contacted customer service and they did absolutely nothing to hello me in any way shape or form. They are by far the worse!… I have never had any issues with receiving my orders until ordering from this company. Stay away!
I advise that no one purchase any machines from hobby lobby because if there's something go wrong with them, you cannot take them back at all,
I had the receipt I had the car that was purchased with, and they would not take it back they told me I had to go to cricket and cricket told me I had to go to Damb. They gave me the runaround and it's so bad. I gave hobby lobby, zero stars.
Answer: This shop reeks of racism. I will be using Michaels. Thank you
Answer: Unethically legit. HL really needs to evaluate their own marketing plan and step up their hiring practices in addition to stop buying B2B products from outside mass production sources. At least look at the quality before sticking and reselling total garbage. And ask yourselves "why are our employees so miserable"? Unhealthy culture = unhappy customers.
Answer: I have never been to Winston-Salem in North Carolina.
