I ordered 3 items: a bonnet, an apron and a Cordelia Pioneer dress. Upon receipt of the items I was happy with items and their quality; however, unfortunately, the dress I discovered was too big and had to return it. The new dress returned sooner than I expected, but because I didn't quite understand the return policy I questioned that I had to pay the shipping for both the return of the originally ordered dress and the "new" dress as well. I called the company and voiced my concern and because I was a new customer and despite my misunderstanding, they generously refunded the shipping cost of the "new" dress.
My husband has bought several pieces from this company and is pleased with the products and in dealing with the company.

I waited to do this review until after my second order. Historical Emporium's customer service is suburb. Any questions I had were answered within a day, in fact one within 5mins of my email being sent. Order fulfillment was fast and orders for me at least arrived a day or two early; even with the COVID situation. My first order was Gold Sutter Satin Puff Tie, the Gold Jacquard Premium Mens Button Spats and Sable Brushed Cotton Trousers I had order to go with an old 20's men's vest I steampunk'd and a Brown Gold Brocade Jacket already order. The quality of my ordered products were exceptional definitely long term wear, truly reenactment clothing, much better than the costume quality jacket I ordered where its picture didn't match what arrived, and HE's items were identical. This prompted me to get the Khaki French Satin Suspenders, which I'm equally pleased with, and I will as funds are replenished place a third order for a High Collar Excelsior Dress Shirt, the shirt I currently have well doesn't measure up for my Airship Pirate Doctor Attire I am creating. So yes On a 5 star rating I give them a 10 ;)

I purchased the Ludlow trousers for my nephew and the quality was top notch. He is a fashion student and loved the trousers. The fabric and fit were lovely.
I also purchased the Wasteland shades, but am not happy with the quality of those. I called to return them as they were missing a screw and was immediately sent another pair. I appreciate the quick response. The quality is still not so good, but they were inexpensive.
Anyhow, I will purchase from Historical Emporium again. I love the uniqueness of the inventory, and the quality of the trousers was excellent.

Work was beautiful. I've always wanted a dueal pistol belt, but could never find one I liked in a.22 caliber. It fits great. My only advice to a buyer of a gun belt is to actually round down when measuring their hip size, as you will more likely have some spare belt notches. If the belt winds up too big by even 1 inch, it slides down your backside. However, if it winds up too big, you can send it back immediately for a replacement. They account for mishaps in measuring. There was no nonsense with customer service. It was great. 10/10.
