Best shoes I've ever worn. Have spent a lot of money in the past just trying to find a shoe that won't hurt my feet. The Hike shoes are the best.
This is my fourth pair of Hike shoes. The first three were regular walking shoes. This pair is sandals and because I have a high instep they do not fit. I can't get my foot in all the way. That isn't the problem. I contacted you about returning the shoes on May 10, sent a message on May 14 asking for a phone number since I received no response. Got a message back saying that you are overloaded with messages and it was taking longer than two to three days. It is now May 20 and I still haven't heard from you. I still get bunches of emails wanting me to buy more but no response to my return request. I love the first three pairs of shoes I bought and I hate to have to search elsewhere for future purchases, but it seems like I need to since I feel if there is a problem with a purchase I am stuck. Maybe you should spend less time and resources trying to sell more and actually care about your return customers.
I have worn these original barefoot shoes from Hike Footwear for years and love them. I ordered a pair of new shoes and sandals. They came the wrong size and I did not like the thicker soles. I asked for a refund and how to return them as there were no instructions for doing this. I was fobbed off by various offers but ignored as how to return and get a refund - except what seemed like a threat - it would take a long time and I will have to pay postage.
Much of my internet shopping is on Amazon - I will not be returning to Hike or advise any friends to do so.

Within the time limit for returns or exchanges, I tried repeatedly to communicate with Hike about THREE pairs of shoes with not enough height in the toe box for my tender big toes. I was referred to the FAQs, which said to request a return label, which led to referral to FAQs, etc, etc. Chat led nowhere, more than once. I repeatedly emailed asking to speak with a human and no one responded except to re-enter the endless loop. Last communications offered a store credit for even more shoes that probably would not work. EPIC FAIL, HIKE!

I wear a pair every day. They are fantastic. I recently wore them on my trip to Switzerland. They handled cobblestones mountains villages towns. Can't say enough about them. They are fantastic. I did purchase inserts for each pair and I think that makes a big difference.
I purchased my first pair of hike, sneakers, out of curiosity and a little skeptical that they would actually resolve my arthritic foot pain problem! From the first day, I wore them to the present my feet have never hurt wearing these shoes although I had been wearing Brooks sneakers with an orthopedic inside prior to trying hikes. I have sent that a second pair. I am very pleased with this product. I even wore them to my granddaughter's graduation.
I had COVID in 2020 and I lost my sense of balance. I purchased many name brand sneakers and nothing helped me. Now since wearing HIKE I now have control of balance not completely but it is significantly better walking for me. I bought two pairs and I get compliments on the design in my shoes.
I purchased 8 pair of your shoes. At 78, I don't have to dress up very often. I have a hard time forcing myself to wear any other shoes. My granddaughter is getting married and I will have to learn to walk in dress shoes for the wedding. It may take a lot of practice. These shoes better last a long time or the company that makes them better keep making them. I need enough to last quite a few more years. I have recommended them to friends with balance or neuropathy issues, especially other cancer survivors who have had extensive chemo.
My health was declining rapidly, and I bought my new hike shoes. I had a closet full of clouds Nikes Brooks, every other shoe on the market and once I put on my hikes, I have never put on another pair of my old shoes, many of which we was brand new. I was having Balance issues and then I had an accident and crushed my vertebra and then got to go by emergency ambulance from my seventh back surgery I was paralyzed from the waist down and could not walk. I went to a rehab center with intensive rehab program and learn to walk again with a walker. I am currently able to walk a short distance without the walker and I just fear that I don't wanna make another fall. My high shoes are invaluable in this entire endeavor and today I get to go in for heart surgery for a new aortic heart valve once again I'm depending on my hike shoes to get me where I need to go and get me back home safely. The best investment I've ever made actually convinced my wife to buy three pair.
I could not even get my feet into the shoes; this is the second pair that I have had this problem with. The very first pair I got were great by these last two purchases have not even allowed my feet to get into the shoes. I am so disgusted with Hike.

These shoes are great! I had a stroke a few years ago that makes my balance awful. I feel a bit more stable walking in these shoes. Very comfortable too. I have 3 pairs now. The hardest part is picking out what color to get next!
These shoes are very comfortable and I receive many compliments on them! The only problem I have with them is that on a rainy day, the water soaks into the sole and I have wet feet all day. Perhaps instead of selling the inserts separately, they could be sewn into the shoe itself. I love these shoes on a sunny day.
First time my toes haven't pained in years! Wide toe box is wonderful. I thought I was ordering shoes without shoestrings. And was surprised when they arrived needing to b ties. Towing shoes is difficult for me. I am able to leave them tied and slip into the shoe but really wish they were totally "skip-in". Great shoes though!
Although the shoes are providing excellent control and balance support, I find some discomfort after walking for any length of time with pressure and soreness on bottom of feet due to lack of cushioning on soles.
I wanted to return my shoes and they were very hard to contact, then started offering me discounts to just keep them, then told me it was too late to return them (because they didn't respond when I tried to contact them initially). They finally let me send them back but your guess is as good as mine whether I'll actually get any money back. Very fly-by-night company.

I've been so used to wearing footwear that has all the extra cushioning and things, but nothing was easing the pain that I fell in the bottom of my foot, so I bought a pair of hikes turned around about three more pair. Looking forward to purchasing something for fall weather and the wet season.
Even with a bunion that caused an acute hammer toe that had to be surgically removed which then caused the third toe to fill the empty space and become another hammer toe these shoes are comfortable‼Plus my balance feels better and I won't need another surgery.
I tried too contact REturns several times but apparently it's a state secret. Two pairs ordered, both too tight. Also, mens hike shoes look like they're made for women. Requested directions for returning them, but now my only choice is donating them. I'm 73 yrs old and have parkinsons, so figuring all this out is too much of a headache for me. Seems to be the way of the future as we navigate the new digital wild west.

I love the shoes, i have 4 pair. They are great for walking. I have one pair that I accidentally ordered too large. I have been trying for almost a month to contact Hike Footwear. The phone you list is not a phone number that exists. I email, and fill out forms and get no response... or an email telling me how busy you are. I find that insulting. I will soon pass the month mark on a pair of shoes i have never worn... and i am stuck with them. I will NEVER order again. I am sure I can find another company that makes similar shoes. Your customer service is horrible.
I ordered a pair of Hike shoes 3 or 4 months ago. The effects on my feet were quite amazing: the soles of my feet had been hurting badly, and my toes also hurt. Within a week my soles no longer hurt, and my toes were no longer compressed.
I had no expectation when I bought these shoes that they would do so much for my feet. Months later they still are doing a great job, so they do not quickly deteriorate. Nevertheless, I plan to purchase additional pairs into the future. Thznk you!
Answer: I had no trouble getting ahold of Hike's CS - but getting a straight answer was another issue all together. I went back and forth with CS in 14 emails before I finally gave up. So I guess their strategy worked. Check out the BBB website for Hike. BBB won't accredit them, and they have 106 complaints regarding returns that are unanswered. BBB rates them an F, which tells you all you might need to know.
Answer: Any Chinese website will have the same quality footwear at a fraction of the price.
