Ordered 3 pair of the Strides and all 3 of us are very happy with them. One pair was for a family member who has Parkinson's and has a hard time bending over to get shoes on and tie them. Will be replacing laces with elastics like on my other sneakers for even more ease for him. Other pair went to my daughter in law who walks daily like myself and she finds them very comfortable and light and thinks she'll like them the more she wears them. These make my 5th different style and by far my favorite so far. May find myself getting a few more of this type. Thanks for how my feet, ankles and knees feel wearing these shoes
I ordered two pair of Hike shoes in the winter and loved them. They helped my right foot heal from crippling pain. Within a month, though, my big toes pushed through the extremely thin fabric. I still wear them because they help my feet, but I am always embarrased when someone mentions the holes.
The shoes are decidedly not for winter. They are paper thin. But I wore them in the winter anyway because of comfort.
I ordered three more pair on a clearance sale and never received them. The address defaulted to the place I lived at my last order. I have contacted Hike Footwear three times and no one has tried to make this right with a refund, though I am sure that the current residents sent the shoes back.
I want to order more, but I can't afford to do so if the company doesn't get back to me. Their customer service may ruin things for a good product.
I had a defect I noticed in a pair of hike shoes that I had been wearing daily for 2 month because of their comfort due to several foot issues in both feet. I took a photo and sent to their care team. Yesterday to my surprise a brand new pair of the same shoe showed up at my house. That's customer service that makes a positive difference and I will continue to order more styles from Hike in the future.
I got 2 pair and loved them. So I ordered 2 more pair. One pair Black, size 8.5, one pair orange size 8.5. Waited waited waited. After I called, I received 1 pair … wrong size… 6!. Wrong color. Beige. No returns allowed. So my payment was processed for 79.00+ and I had no recourse.
Yes. I loved my shoes not my service. Chris
I have ordered five pairs of shoes and was happy with four pair. I have been trying to return the 5th pair since for weeks. They immediately sent a letter after my request stating they would contact me within 48-72 hours. I'm still waiting. Four weeks later they tried to send me another pair if I would just pay $9.99 in shipping. I said no... please refund. I am still waiting for a response. I send a reminder every couple of days, but they ignore me.
Did not like them. Did not wear them. Wanted to return. Return policy said to email which I did about 3 times. No response. Very dissatisfied. Would not recommend to anyone else

I was sent an incorrect sized shoe. The customer support has been exemplary. The matter sorted quickly and effectively. I now have a fantastic pair of HIKE shoes. Again. I love these shoes! They are always so comfortable.Zz even from the first time you put them on. I wore them all day and have been so impressed AFAIN!
I ordered 2 pair of sandals (I wrote you about them in an email & wish you would read that message.) I found the size 7 a bit too large and asked about an exchange for size 6 1/2, for each the blue and the gray pair. Please read my email for full information. How do I return the 2 pair that are too large?

The first few days I wore the HIKE shoes I was in love. After wearing my first pair all day for several days (traveling & walking all day) they began to look shabby. The toes started shredding and the "barefoot" structure seemed to be falling apart. I'm very disappointed in what started as outstanding shoes for those of us with hammer toes that cause ongoing pain. I thought I'd found a shoe that I could wear consistently with no pain. They now look terrible and do not support my feet in they way they did in the beginning.
I started wearing Hike shoes around 2 years ago... I will never buy anything else as long as they are available. My foot pain is almost nonexistent. After years of wearing other brands that thick cushion in soles, these barefoot shoes cannot be beat.
Sandals are OK but nothing beats the Lorax Pros. Mom and I absolutely love the Lorax Pros. We have over a dozen pairs between us and I've given them to friends and family.
Love these wearing for working around the barn, so long as no goats step on my feet, very comfy and don't need to retie them constantly, great for balance and standing and up and down milking the does.
I love my 2 new Flame shoes- lavender and sage green. They are very comfortable for all activities. However, the matching colored shoestrings are way too long, even when double tied, they keep coming undone.
My husband fell and had a traumatic brain injury. After two surgeries, he is now in brain rehabilitation. His trainers love his shoes. He has such great balance with his HIKE footwear.
I also enjoy my HIKE footwear. I've safely walked many miles in them up and down the hospital hallways while he has been in the hospital over two months.
Thank you.
I've worn my Hike shoes a lot in the last month or so, both to work and more casually. I have bunyons, and for the most part, they have been comfortable. I've enjoyed the handsfree entry and cleaning them after they acquired som mud was easy enough.
However, I do find my heels get a bit sore when I walk a longer distance in them.
Also, the bottom layer of sole on the left heal is separating. This seems like poor quality for fairly simple shoes. I haven't worn them that long!
I have hammer toes and the wider toe-box and soft top helps a lot. And I literally the step in factor. The blue shoes are different from the tan ones and toe box not as wide. Thus shoes not as comfortable.
I was excited to see your new Sierra hiking shoes, so I ordered a pair of the high tops hoping they would help support my ankles.
Unfortunately they were too hard to put on! So you gave me a chance to try another style with a lower entry level.
It worked! The Altar Prime shoes are great! And cute too! Two toned!
I have enjoyed wearing three different pairs of Hike shoes the last several years. Finally something comfortable that helps with my balance! 😊. I wanted a beige pair and the one I found was the step-in style. Worth a try, I thought! I didn't try them on for a few weeks, but when I did, wearing them only in the house, I discovered that putting my necessary lift in the right shoe affected the fit, forcing my toes to the very end of the shoe…maybe due to the stiffer back? I'm not sure of the cause. I wear the lift successfully with my other three pairs. I expected to be happy with these, but honestly I'm not. I've never contacted Hike to pursue a remedy, so the shoes are just sitting unused.
I have bought three pairs of hike shoes the first two pairs which were 10 1/2 men were too tight at the toes. Third pair recently bought one size up is great. This has been going on since January or February. What are my options? Thank you.
Sent wrong shoes in a 6 instead of a 9. Cost me lots of money I can't recover. Offered for me to keep shoes. Wrong color. Wrong style. Wrong size.

Answer: I had no trouble getting ahold of Hike's CS - but getting a straight answer was another issue all together. I went back and forth with CS in 14 emails before I finally gave up. So I guess their strategy worked. Check out the BBB website for Hike. BBB won't accredit them, and they have 106 complaints regarding returns that are unanswered. BBB rates them an F, which tells you all you might need to know.
Answer: Any Chinese website will have the same quality footwear at a fraction of the price.
