The company has established a reputation for providing a user-friendly online auction platform, with many customers appreciating the ease of bidding and tracking items. Positive feedback highlights the quality of products and efficient transaction processes. However, significant concerns arise regarding website performance, excessive shipping charges, and insufficient customer support, particularly in resolving issues related to missing items and unclear invoicing. Overall, while the platform is favored for its convenience and product variety, improvements in customer service responsiveness and transparency in seller charges are necessary to enhance the overall customer experience.

Registering is easy. And using the actual bidding and live auction is also easy. Will use again.
Site locked up and crashed multiple times while bidding on items I was interested in buying. I missed the opportunity to make higher bids and lost out on at least two items. Very disappointing.
Went well had fun and won a couple of bids. I prefer the lower premium auctions. I have avoided registering in high premium sales as cost does not justify quality of offered lots.
It was fine but i do not like how at the end of the auction when it is counting down there could be somethings at the top with longer times then things 10 items down on the page. I understand that as things get bid on time extends the time but would be nice if it went in time order at that time not lot number. I also ended up with one Item I did not think I was bidding on but jumped when something closed and was the same price as what I was planning on bidding on
I tried using the app several times but it would crash about once a minute if I scrolled too fast or asked if to do multiple tasks in a row like clicking on a lot, viewing photos and trying to bid.
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about the app crashing during use. We understand how frustrating it can be when the app doesn’t perform smoothly, especially during active bidding.
We recommend using the mobile browser for a more stable experience while we address these issues. If you continue to encounter crashes, please reach out to us, and we’ll assist you further.
We appreciate your patience and hope future experiences are smoother.
I was able to bid and win in the auction. The bidding went back and forth for a while and I finally won.
The large 18% commission should lower the items prices by 18% + 3% cc charge. Not sure if going to any more auctions for precious metals is a good idea.
Thank you for your feedback, and we understand your concern about the 18% commission and additional fees. We know how important pricing is, especially for precious metals.
Each auction house sets its own commission structure, but we appreciate you bringing this up. We hope future auctions provide a better experience, and if you have further questions about fees, feel free to reach out to the auction house directly.
We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and hope your next experience is more favorable.
Purchased several pokemon items from sullo enterprises in successive auctions. The first one arrived and was fake, it didn't match the pictures shown in the auction (this was an internet only auction). I was able to be refunded via PayPal for two but still waiting on the third, which was incidentally the highest.
Thank you for your feedback, and we're truly sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with your Pokémon items. It’s frustrating when items don’t match the description or pictures, and we understand the inconvenience this has caused, especially with the delay in your refund.
Since Sullo Enterprises manages their own listings and transactions, we recommend contacting them directly for the remaining refund. If you need assistance or are unable to reach them, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us, and we’ll help connect you.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope your future auctions go more smoothly.
Had problems with site staying up had to refresh a lot and log back in lost out on some stuff
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about the site issues you experienced. We understand how frustrating it can be to lose out on items due to frequent logins and refreshes.
If you continue to experience this, please feel free to reach out, and we’ll help troubleshoot the issue further. We hope your future auctions go more smoothly.
Got a little confused at first thought I was on the right page to bid on a item that I had the high bid on only to lose it because didn't tap on bid live once I got that straight it all went well just need to pay attention closer
A large estate guaranteed a vast array of items to pursue! There was much in high demand, and yet still many bargains to be had. Conveniently located for local pickup, it was an easy transaction! Recomended!
I bid and was successful on lot 5985 indoor grill cusimax. My last bid was 27.00 way below what the msrp states. They never acknowledged my win even after multiple emails. These people are fraudulent. Encore auctions
I also bid and won on 3 other auctions
Liquidation max. They promptly sent me an email. I picked up my lots today. They were exactly as described. Happy with them.
Thank you for your feedback, and apologies for the delayed response. We’re sorry to hear about the lack of communication regarding your win with Encore Auctions. We understand how frustrating it can be when you don’t receive acknowledgment after winning an auction, and we take these concerns seriously.
Since each auction house is responsible for its own communication and transactions, we recommend reaching out to them again if you haven’t already received a response. If you continue to have issues, please contact us, and we’ll assist you further.
We’re glad to hear your experience with Liquidation Max was positive, and we appreciate you sharing both sides of your experience.
Being a first time bitter I was really impressed with how easy. It was to participate. I loved the wide selection that they offer. Everything was clear, easily accessible, easy to understand, and seemed very, very fair. I especially like the fact that if somebody bids in suddenly at the end, they then add 2 minutes to the bidding. Picking my items up was extremely easy, the instructions on how to do it were perfect.
The auction site is tight. Perfectly built. The last minute live bidding and the countdown to zero to be a winner is as good as being present minus the hundreds of other people around you.
Would prefer to bid near closing time from my watchlist to avoid sudden shifting in screen position like happens with Live View but overall a very good system with minimal, if any, issues
I will be recommending this site for sure...It was so easy to bid & it kept up-without lagging...It performed as it was supposed to-with not even one lil hiccup...I can really appreciate that...I love bidding on auctions & HiBid made it such a good experience with the way they're all set up...
I bid on a couple items a week ago and I noticed I had seven days left till the auction was over. Well the auctioneer collectholic pushed the end date out to 15 days adding another week till the auction was over. The girl at HiBid said "oh my God they're allowed to do that. There's nothing I can do. Oh well." clueless to say the least. Of absolutely no help beware
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re truly sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with the auction extension. We understand how frustrating it can be when auction timelines are changed unexpectedly.
Auction houses do have the ability to adjust end dates for their listings, but we agree that communication about these changes should be clearer. If you experience similar issues again, we encourage you to reach out to us directly so we can assist you more effectively.
We appreciate you sharing your experience, and we’ll work to ensure a smoother experience moving forward.
I had been wanting to try bidding on this site for a while now, and was pleased with how it went. The technical aspects take a little getting used to, but overall it went well.
I typed in name brands I'd be interested in buying, found goodies to bid on and won at a very reasonable price!
Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re really sorry to hear about the site locking up and crashing during your bidding. We understand how frustrating it is to miss out on items due to technical issues.
We’re constantly working to improve platform stability and performance, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you continue to experience problems, please reach out to us, and we’ll assist you in troubleshooting.
We hope your future auctions go more smoothly.
