The company has established a reputation for providing a user-friendly online auction platform, with many customers appreciating the ease of bidding and tracking items. Positive feedback highlights the quality of products and efficient transaction processes. However, significant concerns arise regarding website performance, excessive shipping charges, and insufficient customer support, particularly in resolving issues related to missing items and unclear invoicing. Overall, while the platform is favored for its convenience and product variety, improvements in customer service responsiveness and transparency in seller charges are necessary to enhance the overall customer experience.

Bid on 2 tables. Watched the time go down. Outbid other bidder. Said I was highest bidder when time ran out. Somehow I didn't win the lot. It's happened before but still confusing. Thank u
Would like a notification about the auction starting. If I'm outbid, it takes too much time to access the live auction.
Fantastic opportunity to bid on multiple auctions at once, rarely is there a tech issue when I'm bidding on the site, this is an essential part of my business now!
I have been using Hibid for about 2 years now. Buying some much wanted toys to materials for the new build. I find great values if I am patient and have no buyers remorse. I am careful to read terms and no longer buy from Canada due to vague terms and sometimes trouble with shipping.
Great flexibility to put in a bid and also a max bid. Receive email alerts if outbid. Always very friendly and helpful when I go to pick up my items.
Bought a Coffee Grinder! Not a Ornament resembling a Grinder. Very Good condition? No grinding mechanism in the machine ( just wheel turning) says NO REPAIRS! The pivot cast iron hinge was broken and tried to be clued or JB weld together. Called Owner of the estate son Todd Barclay & Mr Plato and told them both about it and Todd said he was going to call Plato to get this resolved. Guess what all of a Sudden no one answers the phone. Plato 7 calls to him never picked up the phone. SCAMMERS! I will put on Facebook about this along with the description of the item plato put up with photos of this ferris wheel! NOT A COFFEE GRINDER With thd no repairs damaged areas. And im going to mention HiBid as well. Thank you for an enjoyable experience!
Thank you for sharing your experience, Domenic. We're really sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered with this purchase. It sounds frustrating, especially when the item you received didn’t match the description and condition presented in the auction.
Since this review is from October, we hope this issue has been addressed by the seller, and we recommend reaching out to them directly for a resolution if you haven't done so already. If you're having trouble contacting them, HiBid support can assist in facilitating communication.
We value your feedback, and we’ll share your thoughts with our team. We hope future experiences are much more satisfying for you. If there's anything else we can assist with, please let us know.
When bidding at the end on one item everything went well. On the second item after my bid at the closing someone bid. As the 20 secs on the site passed nothing I did would allow me to bid again. It was an expensive item and I tried to up my bid. The seconds on my phone said 10 seconds left to bid and the site did not respond. I tried three times in that 10 seconds to bid. You lost money and I lost a chance at getting an item I really wanted.
Lots of different lots closing at same time. Was kinda hard to keep up. Bidders needs to put in a hi bid prior to auction closing to assure bid.
I bought a Massey Harris 44 online 4 hours away that I would not had seen and had the opportunity to bid on without high bid putting the list of auctions together in one place. The auction company was great when I arrived to pick it up as well. Overall just a good experience.
Used platform to bid on auction. Received wrong item. Called to advise and they have done nothing to help.
Hi John, thank you for your feedback. We're really sorry to hear about the issue with your order. It sounds frustrating, especially when you received the wrong item and haven’t had much support in resolving the issue.
Since this review is from October, we hope the seller has since addressed the situation. If you haven't heard back, we recommend reaching out to the seller directly for assistance, as they handle the fulfillment of orders. If you’re unable to get a response, HiBid support can help facilitate communication.
We appreciate your feedback and hope your future experiences are much smoother! If there’s anything else we can assist with, please let us know.
I came to locate a very local and specific item. I had no idea the depth of possibilities and have enjoyed the exploration and experience thus far. What a fantastic website.
I like using Hibid there are so many options from different auction houses. Site runs quickly without down time.
I uses HiBid for the first time for live bidding last night. I had the account for a while but hadn't used it. I bid on 9 lots last night end won 6 out of the 9. It was very easy to register for the auction and bid. I'll definitely use HiBid again in the future!
My shipping for a single rifle from Pennsylvania to Indiana was a total of $174.00. I questioned the cost and it was adjusted due to an error from their shipping Dept. It still was over $100.00 and I have never paid over $70.00 including shipping, packaging, and insurance from as far away as lower Florida, California ETC. But HiBid has kept me in the bidding due to lower BP on the items. I think auction houses by now know what shipping costs are since some due post their charges for shipping complete.
Fairly good, until my 5 items came up, in a row, and then I had to refresh and missed getting a bid in before the soft close ended.
Hi KC, thank you for sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear about the frustration you encountered with the refresh during the critical moments of bidding. This can definitely impact your ability to place a bid in time.
If this happens again, it might help to try refreshing the page ahead of time or disabling the auto-refresh feature. We also recommend reaching out to the seller directly if any of your bids were impacted.
We appreciate your feedback, and hope your future experiences go more smoothly! If you need further assistance, feel free to contact us.
I like the platform. Very easy to navigate. I do not however like how Bid times are restarted after you place the Winning bid. It makes the auction longer and difficult for one to gauge If they have funds to place on another lot If the item they have just bidding on closed in real time.
TY
Hi Hibid,
I've bid on your auctions before, and won the bid. Shortly after, I was contacted by the company that was in charge of that bid.
I won a bid two days ago, and have not heard anything from them.
This was for a vacation package to the Grand Canyon.
Hi Julie, thanks for sharing your review. Since some time has passed since it was submitted, we hope the seller eventually followed up regarding your vacation package. Typically, the seller is responsible for sending out invoices and communication after the auction ends. If that didn’t happen, reaching out directly through the auction page or contacting HiBid support at 844-775-4774 would’ve been the best steps to take. We hope everything worked out and that future experiences have gone more smoothly!
It's almost impossible to bid on multiple items closing with few second/ minutes from each other. Especially when they are not close to each other on the lineup. By the time you find the item again and wait for the bid to go through on one item, the other one has close.
It's good, I enjoy it very much. Very easy
I set my area for fifty miles. The auction details are great. It is easy to bid and I get updates if I am outbid.
A few auctions do not let you review the items personally. I just don't bid on them.
Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Farrell. We're sorry to hear that there was confusion with your bid. It sounds like there may have been an issue at the end of the auction. Since this review is from October, we hope this has since been resolved. If not, contacting the seller directly would be the best way to clarify what happened and to address any concerns. Sometimes issues can arise in the final moments of bidding, and the seller can provide you with the most accurate information. We appreciate your feedback and hope your future experiences are smoother!
