The company has established a reputation for providing a user-friendly online auction platform, with many customers appreciating the ease of bidding and tracking items. Positive feedback highlights the quality of products and efficient transaction processes. However, significant concerns arise regarding website performance, excessive shipping charges, and insufficient customer support, particularly in resolving issues related to missing items and unclear invoicing. Overall, while the platform is favored for its convenience and product variety, improvements in customer service responsiveness and transparency in seller charges are necessary to enhance the overall customer experience.

Deciding on which auctions I wanted to view was easy. First I only watched some items and returned a day before the end and entered my bids, it was exciting to see how many people were bidding and for what amounts
In August I won Lots from 2 different auctions but the same auction house. I was able to combine shipping from both auctions. The auction house had reasonable prices, but when they were shipped to UPS Store the auctions were not worth the price. I was quoted 1 amount then they said it was incorrect, and in the end 8 smalls were shipped for 65 bucks. When the shipment arrived an item from one of the Lots was not included. The best piece from both auctions and the lot that cost the most was not included! It has been 4 weeks since I last was contacted by the auctions and they were on their way to UPS store to investigate the missing item. As of today I have not received a message or email of the outcome from Noel Auctions and Real Estate Advisors. I will not return to this auction. I lost my money. I have no idea if the item ever made it to UPS or if an employee at UPS knows how to work the system and pick items they like and keeps them.
The person in charge was helpful, kind and approachable. Everything was organized and clean.
He could answer any question and was calm always. Thank you.
The bids were to end at 7:41 my time. I upped my bid at 7:40 even though I was winning. Hibid accepted a bid at 7:41:05 that topped mine. I was on line and as soon as I was outbid I tried to raise my bid and hibid blocked me. Guess you are not allowed to bid till 7:41:59
Apologies for the confusion, Terry!
HiBid would not block your bid. If you were unable to place a bid, it’s likely due to a timing issue or a technical glitch. If you were outbid in the final seconds, it may have been too close to the auction closing, or the system might not have registered your bid in time.
We recommend checking your internet connection and refreshing the page before placing your bid. If you continue to face issues, we suggest reaching out to the auctioneer directly, as they are responsible for the auction process.
If you need further assistance or have additional questions, feel free to contact our support team at 844-775-4774, and we’ll be happy to help. Thanks for your understanding, and we hope your future experiences are smoother!
In current bids it says the name of the auction NOT the Auction House. No location to down load a resale tax form ahead of time. A bidder can't change their credit card it's just one choice. The return policy needs addressed because a number of these auction houses don't verify what they are selling. AKA selling gold filled as gold! Other options of payment would be good Zell, PayPal etc.
Apologies for the delayed response, Ron, and thank you for your detailed feedback. We understand your concerns, and we truly appreciate the time you've taken to share them.
Regarding the auction name versus the auction house, we understand that this could be confusing, and we'll pass your suggestion along to the team to review. For resale tax forms, these are typically handled by the auctioneer, so we recommend contacting them directly to obtain the forms you need. As for the credit card issue, the payment method is managed by the auctioneer, and if you're experiencing trouble changing your card, it’s best to reach out to the seller for assistance.
We also understand your concerns about sellers verifying their items. Since HiBid is a platform for auctions, the responsibility for verifying items rests with the auctioneer. We always recommend that bidders ask questions and carefully review item descriptions before placing bids.
Regarding additional payment options like Zelle or PayPal, these are determined by the individual seller, so it’s best to reach out to them directly if you'd like to inquire about other payment methods.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we will continue to work on improvements. If you have further concerns or need assistance, feel free to contact our support team at 844-775-4774.
I found that as I was searching an auction, I would suddenly find myself in some other auction. I did not ask to go to another auction, I just found myself there. As all the pages are identical, I not only found this confusing but annoying and frustrating.
At the end of the auction, I tried to get back into it to advise I wanted to pay by EFT and that I required shipping. I could not find a portal to get back into THAT auction. Every heading was generic and with no specific location. I decided to just wait for the auction to contact me. I'v still not been contacted but it's only been about 12hours. I have no idea if they are expecting my contact but, if they are, I have no clue how to contact that particular venue.
Had the bidding process been the only criteria, you would have gotten 5 stars but the confusion and frustration caused by the not knowing in what venue you were in and how to get back when you finally realized you were not where you were wanting to be, totally took any pleasure out of the experience.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion you experienced, Vickie. It sounds like there were some issues navigating the auctions, which understandably led to frustration. HiBid hosts a wide variety of auctions, and sometimes, it can feel overwhelming when switching between them. We will share your feedback about the difficulty in identifying specific auctions with our team to see how we can make the experience smoother.
Regarding communication with the auctioneer, you can find the seller's contact information directly on the auction page where you placed your bid. Typically, the auctioneer will reach out to you once the auction ends, but if you haven’t received any communication after a reasonable amount of time, we recommend contacting them directly using the provided contact details.
Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’ll continue working to improve our platform. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact our support team at 844-775-4774. We appreciate your patience and hope your future experiences are much smoother.

I have 5 invoices with you since Sep 7. All paid. 2 invoices already past 21 days and the 2 past 14 days. Last invoice I got it two days ago.
I'm calling and emailing them everyday regarding my shipping no one give any information. They tell me the warehouse will call or email you and we put urgent note and no one call or do anything. I spent over over $4000 and I don't know anything about my items yet. They answer the phone righf away, take my information and tell me they will call or email back and they never do.
I'm dealing with 2 auctions weekley I never have any issue. This is my first experiance to hard like this.
We apologize for the frustration you've experienced, Azhar. We understand that this situation is not ideal, especially after making multiple inquiries and not receiving the expected response. HiBid acts as a platform for auctions, but shipping and communication about orders are handled by the auctioneer, in this case, Auction Vaults.
We recommend contacting the auctioneer directly through the information provided on the auction page or trying a follow-up email with your specific details. If you're still not receiving any responses, please let us know, and we can help escalate the matter to ensure you get the support you need.
Thank you for sharing your experience, and we hope the situation is resolved soon. If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to contact HiBid support at 844-775-4774.
I no longer get statment of what i have won from all business of HiBid always have to get them to make a copy for me also dont get a email that i won
Thank you for clarifying, Paul. We understand that you've already reached out to HiBid for help with sending invoices. While HiBid facilitates the auctions, the responsibility for sending invoices lies with the sellers. We appreciate your patience and understand that this situation has been frustrating.
If you've already contacted HiBid support and are still facing issues, we recommend following up with the sellers directly through the auction page, as they are the ones who should provide the invoices. If you continue to experience challenges, please don't hesitate to contact HiBid support again, and we'll assist in escalating the issue.
Thank you for your feedback!
With the ease of bidding and the variety being offered, I have become addicted to HiBid. I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad that I didn't discover online auctions earlier…
I had placed a maximum bid for an item, then it was outbid in the last minute. I tried to raise my bid, but my new bid was not accepted within the time, despite my continued efforts to place the higher bid.
The system was not responsive. This has happened before to me as well.
Apologies for the confusion, Peggy. It sounds like you encountered an issue where the system didn't accept your bid in time. This can sometimes happen if there’s a delay between your bid attempt and the auction's closing time, especially when a bid is placed very close to the auction’s end.
It’s also possible that the issue was related to bid permissions set by the seller, as some sellers have specific rules that may affect how bids are accepted in the final minutes. We recommend contacting the seller directly to confirm their bidding rules and any potential restrictions.
If you're still having trouble or if it seems like a technical issue, please reach out to HiBid support, and we can assist you further.
Thank you for sharing your experience, and we hope your future bidding goes smoothly!
Generally, the site provides all the functionality required for review of auction items and bidding. However, during the live bid of a recent auction my screen froze. To reengage, I had to back out and reinstate the application.
Bid and won Tristar Flooring Grant, Houston Tx. Auction name: Short Notice 100,00 Flooring Liquidation Houston. Aug.20-Aug 26th- 2024. Lots won 64,65, and 70. Total 1,829.54. My Mom bid and won on some lts too. We Rearched out day after auction and asked for delivery, guy was very nice and said he could have it delivered within the week. He has already gotten him money. It is now Sept. 29th and with a lot of phone calls and messages and promises to have it delivered we still have yet to receive our product. We even told him that we could pick the load up, and we told several time, that he wasn't in town. I do understand life gets in the way sometimes. But it has been over a month and we need to items we paid for. Who do I need to contact about this? Clearly this Auction is having any issue.
Hi Sheila,
I’m really sorry to hear about the continued issues with receiving your items. I understand how frustrating this must be, especially after such a long wait. Since the auction was back in August, and you've already reached out to the auction house without resolution, I recommend following up with them again to express the urgency of the situation.
You can also reach HiBid support at 844-775-4774, and we'll do our best to help facilitate communication with the auctioneer, as they handle the transaction and delivery details.
Thank you for your patience, and we hope this was resolved for you.
Was able to bid on several auctions at the same time using the detailed search options on Hibid.com. Made it easy to track what I kept an eye on.
Hibid Auctions are pretty easy to use. Make sure to read the specifics of the auction company you are bidding through and everything should go smoothly.
I frequently bid on O-gauge model trains and accessories. HiBid website is easy to search and filter
Very user friendly! I was thankful for the 1 minute increase in time to submit an updated bud
Hi,
I left a message about today's auction with PHX Auction Co and an issue I had when bidding on an item. The item was an industrial vacuum and was at $24 at the time I was outbid. When I went to increase my bid all the way up to $54 it had placed it on the item next to it, a hunter's tent that in no way was interested in. Not sure what you can or verify what happened, but I would appreciate it if you could cancel and refund me.
Regards,
Karl Jensen
Hi Karl,
Thank you for sharing your experience. We hope this issue has already been resolved by now. Sometimes refreshing the page can help with similar issues. If you're still encountering any problems, we recommend reaching out to PHX Auction Co directly, as they handle cancellations and refunds.
If you need any further assistance, feel free to contact HiBid support at 844-775-4774, and we can help facilitate communication with the auction house.
We hope everything worked out for you!
Disappointed. The day after the auction- American Auction Group contacted me to inform me they did not have the lot. They went on to explain, they had sold the "lot" (vehicle) the prior week. They were not certain why it was still listed in the catalog.
The man attempted to sell me another lot. This was not even a comparison to the lot I bid on or I would of probably bid on both during the auction.
Very disappointed with the experience.
Hi K S., thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience with American Auction Group. It sounds like there was an unfortunate mix-up with the lot listing, which can definitely be frustrating. We hope the issue has been resolved, but if you are still in need of assistance, we recommend reaching out to the auction house directly for clarification or further support. Let us know if you need any additional help!
I was actively bidding in an auction and the auction feed froze. Refreshing did not correct the issue and bidding went on with me unable to bid. Backing completely out of the site did not help. After several minutes I was able to bid. It was only one auction that was affected- Upstate, Bath New York. I never received an invoice for this auction for the items I did successfully purchase.
Great variety on site. Seems there was a glitch with my last bid where an item was won then somehow flipped. Otherwise always good experiences. When bid is live noticed it now refreshes multiple times so I'll have to go into current bids if I want to track my selected items. In past did not have to do that and if something caught my eye that I missed I could bid, now it's harder.
Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.

We sincerely apologize for the delayed response, Beverly, and understand how frustrating this experience must be. It sounds like the issue lies with the shipping service and the handling of your items by UPS, as well as communication from the auction house. HiBid acts as a platform for auctions, but the auctioneer is responsible for overseeing the auction process, including shipping.
We recommend following up with the auctioneer, as they are responsible for resolving any shipping discrepancies and investigating the missing item. If you're not getting the assistance you need, feel free to reach out to our support team at 844-775-4774, and we can help facilitate communication.
Thank you for your feedback, and we truly hope your future experiences are smoother.
