The company has established a reputation for providing a user-friendly online auction platform, with many customers appreciating the ease of bidding and tracking items. Positive feedback highlights the quality of products and efficient transaction processes. However, significant concerns arise regarding website performance, excessive shipping charges, and insufficient customer support, particularly in resolving issues related to missing items and unclear invoicing. Overall, while the platform is favored for its convenience and product variety, improvements in customer service responsiveness and transparency in seller charges are necessary to enhance the overall customer experience.

I love HiBid and made several purchases 95% satisfied.
Only issue is there needs to be a better way for HiBid to handle disputes directly between Auction and Customer.
Had a negative comment that wasn't true, can't get it retracted because the person that commented sold his auction to someone else. It's very discouraging.
Rhe bidding process was good. Would like to recieve an email confirmation when successfully purchasing a product.
Hi Ronald, thank you for your review. We’re glad to hear the bidding process went well. Winning bidders should receive a confirmation email directly from the auctioneer after the sale closes, as each seller manages their own invoicing and communications.
If you didn’t receive anything, we’re happy to help you get in touch with the seller. You can visit help.hibid.com and start a chat by selecting the icon in the bottom-right corner. Choose “Concern with a Purchase,” and our team can assist with locating the auctioneer’s contact information or checking for any updates.
Thanks again for your feedback!
I do wish that you had an easier way to access future auctions from the auction houses I have already bought from before
Always smooth transactions, but fees are getting out of control. Purchased item for 82.50 and had to pay 99.75? That's a bit too much.
We apologize for the delayed response, Tina, and understand your frustration with the fees. Additional fees like buyer’s premiums, taxes, and shipping can sometimes add up quickly. These fees are typically outlined in the auction’s terms and conditions, but we know it can still feel overwhelming. We recommend reviewing the auction details before bidding to avoid surprises, and if you have any questions about the fees, contacting the auctioneer directly for clarification can be helpful. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team at 844-775-4774. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope your future experiences are smoother!

Hi Vikki, thank you for the wonderful review! Congratulations on winning your very first auction — that’s always an exciting moment. We’re glad to hear checkout was easy and your item arrived quickly. It’s great to know you had such a smooth experience.

Hi Courtney, thank you for the great review! We’re glad to hear the auction went smoothly and that you had such a friendly customer service experience along the way. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and are happy to have you bidding on HiBid!
Thanks again!
I tried to bid and hibid blocked me from bidding and I lost an item I wanted. HiBid has some problems that need to be resolved.
Thank you for your feedback, Christy. HiBid does not block users from bidding, so it sounds like there may have been an issue with the specific auction or item. We recommend reaching out directly to the auctioneer for clarification, as they may have set specific restrictions or conditions for bidding on certain lots. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact our support team at 844-775-4774, and we'll be happy to assist you. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope your future experiences are smoother!
I enjoyed bidding on the on-line auction. (It was exciting and a little addictive) I found a lot of great things. It was easy to bid and check the status of the item. Pick up was easy and the staff were very friendly.
Hi Barbara, thank you for your review! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the excitement of bidding and found so many great items. It’s also great to know the process was easy to follow and that pickup went smoothly with friendly staff.
If you ever have questions about navigating the site or keeping track of your bids, we’re always here to help. Thanks again for sharing your experience!
I've been using Hi-Bid about 3 years; always satisfied never disappointed. Thanks
Hi Jerry, thank you for the fantastic review! We’re grateful to hear you’ve been using HiBid for about three years and have consistently had a great experience. It means a lot to know you’ve been satisfied every time.
Thanks again for being part of the HiBid community!
A lot of fun and a lot of great deals.a lot of items up for bid were great for collectors and several great pieces of jewelry and some just for hoarders!
Signing up and doing the bidding was easy as pie! I won several bids and was very happy! It is exciting to have a bidding war at the closing of the bids.
Format is easy to read on all my devices. No delays, downloading or otherwise
Some auctions let me bid and some wont. A bad comment from a auctioneer should be checked out before giving a bidder a bad mark.
I have made several bids with one of your auctioneers and it seems as though between 5 and ten minutes before the bid closes that the bid always goes up to my max bid, this has happened on several occasions with several different auctions. The bid would be at $19,10 minutes before closing and all the sudden it would go to my max bid of $40 on the main board. I don`t know if this is common practice, but the high bid should stay the high bid until someone else bids on it, not to what my max bid is. I am in one final auction on your site, after that i will delete your site. Thank you for your time. Dave Arnold
We apologize for the delayed response, David, and understand your concerns. What you're describing sounds like an issue with the automatic bidding system, where your maximum bid is automatically raised when other bids come in. This is how max bids work on HiBid—when you set a max bid, the system will automatically raise your bid up to your max amount if someone else places a higher bid. However, the item should only raise to that amount when another bidder exceeds your initial bid, not before. If you’re encountering unexpected behavior, it may be a specific issue with that auction or auctioneer.
We recommend reaching out directly to the auctioneer to clarify the bidding process for that auction. If you need further assistance or have questions, please feel free to contact our support team at 844-775-4774. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope your future experiences are more positive.
Lost do to not getting to bid because system would not let me enter bid
This has happened several times. Fixing to stop trying.
We apologize for the delayed response, Daniel, and understand how frustrating it can be when you’re unable to place a bid. If you're having trouble with placing bids, we recommend contacting the seller directly to ensure there are no specific restrictions for that auction. Additionally, if the issue persists, please reach out to our support team at 844-775-4774, and we’ll assist you further. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope your future bidding experiences go smoothly!
Rightside Auctions are honest and professional and stand behind what they sell. Have had terrible experiences with several others
The HiBid system is great. Hard to believe how efficient it is. Most of the auction companies are very good. A few are not so good. A report system or chat room to bring heat on bad actors would be helpful. Concistant premiums and shipping fees would be a help. Charging higher premiums to HiBid bidders doesn't make sense. I am no longer bidding when onsite bidders get a better deal than I do.
Descriptions are becoming less descriptive. Defensive? I buy guns. The lack of adequate descriptions hinders my ability to make informed decisions resulting in fewer and smaller bids.
It's a great place to go to get good products at a great price.
Everything run smooth and quick. Everything seemed described as it should of been.
Bidding and the evening went fine. The bids went quick but with ease. Was disappointed in the fact after bidding on multiple items and winning some I leter got an email from the auction host saying that they changed the dates and have reopened all the bids to a later date and time. It was an online only event so I don't understand why the change if everything went as it should. On top of the change of time they are also keeping the bids at what they closed at and just reopening them. I feel like these bids should go one of two ways if changing the date and time and running like a new auction. Either honor what the lot closed at and call the auction over or start back at the bottom and call it a new auction all together. Practices like this of changing the closing date after the bids makes people question if this will happen again because lots didn't bring in enough money. This was a first time experience bidding with this location and would hate if this happens often.
We apologize for the delayed response, Troy, and understand your disappointment. It's frustrating when auction dates and times change after the auction has ended, and we agree that this can create confusion. Auctioneers should clearly communicate any changes to the auction and its terms, and it’s concerning that the bids were reopened at the same closing prices. We recommend contacting the auctioneer directly to address this issue and to clarify their policies moving forward. If you need further assistance or have any concerns, please feel free to contact our support team at 844-775-4774. Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we hope your future experiences are smoother.
Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.
