Hi bid is great to find items I am looking for. Easy to use and bid. The only thing I don't like is at closing the items move up the page as you touch to bid and I bid on the wrong item. It was my fault but it rolled as I touched to bid.
Online bidding can be a plus, but if you're bidding on multiple items you'd better be prepared to loose several especially if close in proximity

Bid and went to pick up
First said they didn't get my payment which I sent and then didn't give me 2 items.
They stated I got credit for The one but blew me off for my other item. It's a piss off and I wont be using this again. I dont even know how to access the credit.

I find that often during the high traffic moments at the end of the auction, Hibid craps out and starts giving network errors which is quite frustrating. Additionally, on a soft close, if the new bid is not higher than the current high bid, it should NOT extend the time. That is also very frustrating. Vendors should be encouraged to take more photos of the items they are auctioning.

L won some lots. They took the money on my credit card. Now seems like I cant have my order because if the iD card. I told to cancel the order ans give credit, but now they wont answer m'y mails. So I still dont know the status of my order

They don't have a specific place to just leave a review for Bismanbids auction so I'll just leave one here. Buyers be aware bismanbids autions fraud or rigged. Phone number does not work, they do not respond to email request either. All their auctions are set up they rob you with fees and if you ever try to cancel something you accidently bid on you can forget it. They are very quick about taking your money but good luck getting it back. There are much better and reputable auctions out there. Save yourself and buy from a different company. I honestly shocked that hibid still allows them to sell on their platform. Check them out on google before you buy anything. I wish I did, I would have never bid on any of their items. Waist of time and auctions are all set up.

They never put the winning bids up online, and it's funny that the bid was low then they claimed that my max bid was the winning bid. Could be a coincidence but I don't believe in them. I won't bid on their auctions again

I recently bid on an auction that was receiving bids on two separate sites. This created problems with me being able to watch what was being bid since I had placed high bids on Proxibid only to find that HiBid was a better site for seeing the final bids on a timely fashion.

Site reloads too often while I'm trying to bid. I've lost purchases because of that function. Also there isn't a way to mark an item as 'watch' to know what I might want to bid on. I have a hard time getting 2nd & 3rd pictures to load for specific items. Otherwise, once you figure out how to navigate the site, it's not too bad.

It was mostly good. I lost one auction and wanted to see all the bids so I could see what I need to do in the future. No dice when logged in or otherwise.
Lastly, there needs to be better communication between your auction platform and the sellers and buyers. I checked that I needed shipping and I'm getting emails from the seller about picking up the items very confusing. I shouldn't have to go outside the platform to contact the seller for something that has a checkbox on it saying need shipping. Arranging for payment should go completely through your website. It shouldn't be getting a bill and contact information from the seller. What's up with that

I won few item from AK liquidation. Most the items have missing parts was not mention in the description of the bid. This is misrepresentation of information and fraud.

Could you just send 1 email for a item that was bid on, ie when someone over bids me on a item I sometimes get 3 or more emails back to back 1 would be enough

I bought what was supposed to be a new in the box Breville Oracle expresso machine through Globe Auctions. It was definitely not that! Internal pumps had been previously frozen and destroyed. Verified by the Breville repair technician. I should have been suspicious when I opened the box and many key pices where missing. I had multiple emails with them to discuss this but they chose to hide behind their dislaimer. I'm now out $2200 but have a nice looking, non functioning machine. I guess this morally bankrupt business must be proud of their auction practices.
Not sure how I was supposed to look inside a mew expresso machine for damage. Just be prepared you may have to do the same.

Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
