Sometimes I bid on items then recheck them next day and it's not the same the same item I'm trying to buy then later it's fixed. I don't know if it's you or Encore but it's frustrating and I'm not sure what I'm actually going to get
I am wondering why there are times you are not able to bid when I have clearly entered the live bid mode. Other times I have clearly lost a bid only to receive an email to identify me as a bid winner a day or two later. I recently bid on a Razer Blade 14 and could not process a final bid as the interface would not accept my increased bid. Overall i have no complaints for small value items however something seems seriously fishy when bidding on higher value items.

Auction for "Huge lot sports cards psa extremely rare"
50 cards graded by CCG, none by PSA as stated. Then 27 cards in top loader. Nothing more than a year's old. Do I really need 3 of the same Vince Carter cards from a 2023 set? Also, mysteriously, ny price was bid up at the end of the Auction. As it is, all of the lots went for the same price except for mine. Very shady.

I found it very difficult to bid and keep up when bidding on 4 or 5 items that was listed consecutively in the auction. I was bidding on a Android app and it was consistently updating for the higher bids and making it difficult to keep track, therefore missing out on bidding and making it extremely stressful. I find live auctioneers is a much better app or Hi bid.

Technically app worked well. Auction company was lacking in pictures of item being sold. Reserve was added on almost all items with a few hours left to bid. Won bid but didn't meet reserve

I spent hours bidding on and WINNING multiple items in an auction from "Hilda's Auction House". (I have screenshots of all items saying I won.) While waiting for my invoice the next day, I received "You have been outbid" emails. I logged in only to see all the items I WON had been re-listed and were accepting new bids. What gives?
***(UPDATE) - I received a call back from "Hilda's Auction House" telling me that despite me WINNING the auction I "didn't win anything", that their unpublished reserve wasn't met, and "to stop wasting their time" before hanging up on me.

I was outbid on several items after prices were pumped up by another bidder and forced to increase my bid. Some items bids were suspiciously high. Those same items are listed again by the seller the following week. It is my opinion that this seller is "shill bidding".

Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
