Our first time to do HiBid all went well The Browns Auctions and Estate Team answered all our question and helped me navigate the Hi Bid system and were very organized when it was over and go for pick up. I would encourage to have better pictures of all different things in their lots. And continue to give measurements

Thought I was able to bid cheap then bots come on and raise price to almost new store prices lol

I have bid on items from this site and have gotten them. I've been signed up to receive emails for awhile. The only time I see there's an auction is from Facebook. I put a watch on several items and received no notification came here today to check on them and now I can't find the auction. It is terribly confusing to try and find anything on this site.

The auction bid increments were confusing. It said 1-95 was $5 increments. But I would bid and it allowed $1 bids. Also the app has said I've won a bid and starts closing then refreshes and I'll loose the bid and it's closed. Very frustrating. If I use the internet instead it doesn't seem to have that issue.

I hesitated to bid on an out of state auction again due high shipping costs. This auction had a lot of interesting items, so I placed a number of bids. I managed to win 3 small items that were not my main choices. Finally, after making four phone calls, I was able make my payment and request shipping. The auction house charged me an additional $15.00 to transfer three small items from the auction site to their office for shipping. After buyer's fees, shipping, and "transfer fees", this is a real loser for me. No more out of state auctions for me!

I found it hard to bid on lots when I was on live auction. I would have to open the lot in a different tab on its own in order to place the bid. Apart from that it was great. Might try using a different browser next time and see if that helps. P.S. I was using explorer.

Auction site worked great. If there is one drawback I would say that when someone outbids you in the last minute, it doesn't always refresh quick enough for you to make another bid. I would like to see the time extended from a minute if that is possible.

I have been bidding on a lot of auctions recently, and many of them are in the US. I think it would be great if you had an option on your two convert the winning bed or the high bed into a different currency. I'm betting that would be very useful to a lot of people maybe not only what the current bit is but then what it is in another currency and maybe a drop-down box of all the different currencies that can be converted to.

I've bid on and won several items on HiBid from different sellers and never had a bad experience. The sellers have all done a good job of describing their listings and providing clear pictures, and the post-bidding communication process has been smooth. I have not had any issues crop up, but feel as though those would be handled in a timely and professional manner.

Really terrible experience, unable to bid on several items I was interested in. Asked to verify my phone no., got a call but unable to hear the message as it was very faint over the phone. Asked for a recall, unable to get it, kept saying it had sent the id no. To my phone, which I never received. Must have tried a dozen times the get ok'd but never happened. Would never try to use again

It takes several press of the button to get the bid to finally submit and to enlarge the picture of the items. If I look at an item during live auction when I go back to catalog it always takes me back to the start of the lot of that page which is a pain to keep looking at lots then having to start over

Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
