In January we received two trays of Honeybel oranges. Just beautiful each one and the taste is excellent.
Granddaughter just loved the orange juice I made.
In February we received a tray of Pink Grapefruits. Wow! Each one just perfect. Wife loves sliced halves with breakfast. I love the juice I made from half of the tray.
A little card came with the grapefruits from Kelly Christie (#*******) who did the personal packing.
Kelly, my compliments to you for your wonderful selection and packaging.
Will order these fruits every year. We look forward to these cheerful gifts of winter.
If I didn't ask they would not have told me my package was delayed it was very important to me to get it there on time I am so disappointed in them Last time I will use them and I will notify my family and friends
So excited for my honey bells they look amazing and taste so good. Fed ex did delay my gift but Harry and David packaged them so well they came in wonderfully I can't thank you all enough for helping our family keep up our honeybell tradition.
Ms. Katie deserves an excellent rating for her manner of handling my orders. She was quite helpful and pleasant, straightened the initial choice that I made, which did not take advantage of the "passport"(?) offer for shipments, found a better delicious alternative of an additional gift to complete my order for one friend, combined those two orders into one so that both were delivered at the same time, did whatever she could to have my gift to another friend delivered right on Valentine's Day, replaced my email address and ensured that the charges to my account were correct. Thank you very much Ms. Katie! You create a good reputation for Harry & David.
I ordered a lobster pot pie for my Valentine dinner. My order was placed on Feb 10th and it shipped on Feb 15th. I tracked it via FED EX and it was supposed to arrive on the 17th. Today I contacted Harry & David to say I haven't received it & they are sending a new Pot Pie. I would be afraid to eat the pot pie with the extended time even if it shows up today. It shipped from Ohio & I am in Pa. It went from Ohio to Pa. To NY and back to Pa. & is sitting for 2 days at my local FEDEX site so FEDEX is part of the problem
Placed an order on February 4th. Was to be delivered on or before February 12th. I paid $14.00 for shipping. As of the 17th it is still pending delivery. Texas did get snow and ice on the 14th which was 2 days after the delivered by date of the 12th. When I called they just tell me that Texas got severe weather and there is nothing they can do. I know we got weather, I live in Texas. My point is that is was to be delivered before that came in. Paid $67 for nothing.
I ordered several gifts baskets for the holidays... I am still waiting for the gift. Since December. Running around from customer service: will get it soon, will get it in January, we are sorry, how about a 20% discount FOR THE NEXT ORDER! Bitterly disappointed at this once upon a time great company.
I place an order which did not come in. So after Christmas I called customer services. No response after telling them my problem. I checked again, they said they couldn't find where I order or shipment. But some how they had no problem of taking it off my credit card, couldn't that either. Again no help. I'll never place another order with them nor will I ever recommend it to anyone else. I see it as just another rip off.
Spoiled fruit and chocolate which got me sick. The best was the stone in the fruit cake! Seriously?
I bought a popcorn with chocolate and clusters of Carmel prior to thanksgiving for a card party. It was riddled with hard rock-like pieces of (guessing) I popped popcorn! I have been in correspondence with customer service every week since that time! All I get is lip service and be patient.
I will not acquiesce! I will find satisfaction one way or another!
I ordered the pear and apple Christmas basket to go along with a box of chocolates, and I ordered the wine and chocolate box gift.
Both arrived earlier than expected, which is fine. I will admit, the pears arrived bruised in appearance, but with an explanation. The appearance did not effect the taste at all. The chocolates, omg the chocolates, amazing. Wine, was acceptable. I'm not an expert so whatever on that.
Now the price, let's face it, expensive. Overall satisfied.
My name is Leslie York, I just received my order of Honeybell oranges by FedEx.
I have ordered from your company in the past but to be frank I am totally disappointed and dissatisfied with this shipment or oranges
Many of them still have green patches on them improfections on the oranges as well as spots on the fruits themselves
I have bought Honeybells before but none such as these
I am enclosing photos of the product that was sent to me.
The quality control is questionable. If I could return these I would, I felt you needed to be aware of the product you were marketing
I look forward to your response
Special note
Harry and Daves contacted me and agreed to send me 2 flats or oranges to replace the two that I received
I would like to thank Maria for reaching out and correcting the issue
Thank you Harry and Daves

Shipped to wrong address, pears were black and bruised, not reimbursed on account, and recipient not reimbursed for pears as promised. Customer service not efficient or professional. They hang up while you are speaking. Years ago, great company. Nowadays, not worth the effort.
I order 5 orders to be shipped to five different people. The orders that contained fruit were universally bad. The fruit was inconsistent in size, soft, mushy, in some cases unripe. Chocolate covered Strawberries were the worst I have seen. Not only were the berries bad but the packaging was subpar and the product was damaged. Customer service was ambivalent and did the absolute minimum only after I contacted them several times.
First: Harry & David stores have great gifts. However, their online abilities absolutely stink. I ordered 4 baskets this Xmas, only 2 of which were ever delivered, despite FedEx expedited shipping fees charged. After an hour hold, I finally got a H&D rep that told me that despite my ordering on the H&D website, a H&D gift basket, with NO indication it was anything but a H&D product, it actually was NOT a H&D gift, but rather one of their "sister" companies, and they had no way to find out about it. After finally being transferred around, I got the "sister" company (whether it was 1-800-Flowers or 1-800-Baskets I never was sure), who are supposedly processing a refund (no credit yet, so wouldn't be surprised they screw that up as well). No "sorry", nor any explanation, as to why 2 of EXACT same baskets were successfully delivered, whereas the other two were never even shipped. The reps were clueless, including their supervisory reps. Bottom line: Get a H&D basket physically from their stores in malls (if they still have any left) and mail it, or use a company like Hickory Farms which, while not as good, you know will actually be delivered as promised.
H&D lost a lifetime customer with their gross incompetence and indifference this holiday season.
Very poor service! We ordered two items to be shipped to two different people in two different cities. We received e-mail confirmation that both were delivered but when we called one of the recipients they informed us it was never delivered. Sometimes things run late so we said we'll give it a few days but after 10 days and no package we called Harry and David's for a refund.
We got nothing but a runaround: very insulting and demeaning questions and treatment, they told us they couldn't find the order. They acted like we'd only placed the order that was delivered and the other one was all in our imagination. They actually asked us if we were sure it was Harry and David's and not Sherries Berries, Meanwhile we're sitting there with two e-mails from Harry and David (which I uploaded to this review) one confirming the order and one telling us it had been delivered even though it hadn't. I got online while they were having all this trouble locating the order and found it in 30 seconds on the Harry and David website. Finally after an hour on the phone and after being refused a refund we demanded to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor then informed us that even though we had ordered from Harry and David and even though we had paid Harry and David for the product, the product actually came from Sherries Berries and we would have to get our refund from them.
There was nothing on their website indicating that particular product came from Sherrie's Berries. Our credit card was billed by Harry and David and both the e-mails we received came from Harry and David's. We received no communication from Sherrie's Berries and Sherrie's Berries did not bill our credit card. Harry and David did. It's not right that we should have to call Sherrie's Berries for a refund when we paid Harry and David.
I'm 69 years old I can honestly say I have never received customer service this bad from any company I've ever dealt with. We have used Harry and David's for years. But I don't like the fact that they sold us a product that was not made by Harry and David without telling us and that after paying them we have to go to the other guys for our refund.
GOODBYE Harry and David! You have lots of online competitors we'll be going to them from now on.
I received a paperwhite plant from my twin sister. Loved watch it grow and bloom, beautiful thank you
Product itself is above average. Customer service is a nightmare. Ordered gift basket this year on 12/10/20... basket was "delivered" 12/24/20 to wrong address. Customer (me), contacted customer service who supposedly updated address information and promised a "better" basket to be delivered, 12/30/20 which never happened. Customer (me) contacted regarding missing basket and was told, that item was sold out, and customer (me) "should have been called", which didn't happen. Wonderful nieces and nephews went without holiday cookies. Beyond frustrated and angry at this company's customer service blunders. Reaching out to corporate for some sort of resolution
I wished to send baskets for Christmas to Canada. Started on 1 December, website wouldn't allow Canada addresses. Chat help line was good gave me a Canada website. Tried to put in 2 gift basket to two different addresses, it would except the first and default to the US site. Called their agents number and opted for a call back as they said it was busy and I wouldn't loose my place in line. No one called. Tried to buy one basket at a time, wouldn't go through. Eventually I got through to an agent. I think with the calls, chats, time on the website, I have spent over 6 hours trying to send to gift baskets. On the 12 December I did finally get an agent 49 minutes on hold, but I didn't mind as its Christmas. Lady was lovely very helpful order taken, baskets picked. Arrival 22- 24 December. No baskets arrived. Tried to call, opted to talk to an agent, ph line defaulted after 12 min on hold to answer service. No one called back. 26 December email, your baskets didn't make it, you have 48 hours to contact us and select another basket. Went on the website, no baskets in the price range until 12 January. I was fuming now. Tried to call an agent, went to voice mail twice. Polite but very cross message left saying call me back. Email sent. Agent did call with in an hour. He was very sorry, advised me no basket would get there before late January. End result asked for my money back. Most upset as had told my family they would get a basket. I did get a ph call later about my email. Once again they were very sorry. But I said, I will never use them again and I will be writing a review. Sorry couldn't attach a receipt as I only have a purchase on my credit card as I did it through the agent and I never did get an email receipt.
My name is Dr. Gwin-Davis. I received a surprise gift from a dear friend who was expressing gratitude with a Harry and David gift basket. The box arrived but wasn't opened immediately. Unbeknown, there were pears in the bottom of the basket. The pears were rotten and consequently, soiled a significant portion of the entire gift basket's contents. The items were not consumable. I made the sender aware of this condition. The sender will request a refund ay my request.
Answer: I'll be going to other companies NOW. Business LOST.
Answer: In the past this company offered excellent quality products--albeit a bit overpriced. Now the price is the same (or higher) but the quality has definitely gone downhill. Not sure if the company was bought out or what, but... I will never order from them again. They have done permanent damage to their reputation and their customer base is eroding quickly.
Answer: Why do you think any of these reviews have anything to do with Politics? That's pretty crazy assumption. My basket was 2 weeks late and that is not Political. It's facts.
Answer: I wasn't able to order products because of the quality of their customer service representatives.
Answer: It isn't difficult to reach them via phone, just be prepared for hold times. I would definitely recommend calling them rather than email, the email correspondence I had with them was hopeless.
