Retart does not tell you why and thinks he and his boy friend and ugly dumb $#*! cat are real cool, like my company commander said about Texas! This site is what is wrong with America and enter net. Good by $#*! hole gun broker of what ever world you live in, oh ya dumb $#*! Texas none bulls and cross dressers! I am Mr. Alley and if you don't like what I say then become a truck driver and back up and get a load of this stuff your full off! End of line.
Have got some good deals as you don't have to pay sales tax on a purchase. Some sellers really inflate shipping costs though. If you're bidding on a gun or plan on bidding, watch the item when there's less than an hour to go. Bidders wait until that time. Item won't get a bid for days and days, but if you're not watching it during it's last hour, you will lose it to last minute bidders
I sold items on gunbroker few times. Once a bidder did not buy after winning the auction. I followed the lengthy process of getting final value fee credit. When the gunbroker had to issue me credit, the customer service which can be contacted only via email stopped responding to my message. I had to open a dispute with credit card company to get my money back. This company is absolutely rubbish. Don't do any business on the website of a company that has bad customer service and does not even have a phone number.
Absolutely the worst customer service of any auction site I have ever done business with. Their boiler plate responses to my emails concerning a fraud claim clearly showed they did not read or save the email I sent them. They responded with a copy and paste response about checks needing 10 days to clear a month after I sent the seller a $700 Cashier's check with no response from the seller. I warned Gun broker about the seller but the seller ripped off another customer for $1500 before they did anything about the account. After sending them all the documentation they asked for via us mail, they asked for it again when I inquired about the claim a month later. Buyer and Seller beware.
My credit card information ended up in Italy. The site asked for a credit card number. There is no reason for it. Now I know why.
Gunbroker sucks. All the reviews that say "I don't know what people are complaining about" is just plain bull s***. Those are most likely the reviews left by the company to cover up their sh**ty reputation. First of all, why is Gunbroker the only website that asks to charge you because you have a free email? That's the biggest red flag right there. Second, if something goes wrong on their website, why aren't they responsible? It's their website, they have the ability to make things right. Why do they leave it up to the seller/buyer to resolve it? Especially when they know there are people with malicious intent on their website and they don't do anything about it. Simple, because they don't give a s*** as long as they get their commission at the end of the day. Last, people don't come on here to hate on website because they have an "anti gun agenda", that's just an idiotic thing to say, they come on here because the website F***ING SUCKS YOU MORONS.
Purchased firearm in good faith through gunbroker.com did not check it out quickly enough when test fired exploded top cover from dragunov may be bad receiver or bolt seller jerry raphaelson and gunbroker will not make good on purchase. Both refuse to. Correspond to correct problem. Do Not do business with this web site buyer beware plan to loose your money on defective firearms george petruncio
This is the worst website I have ever been on. Pages not loading and timing out.
Customer Service is incompetent. As an auction site, they really do not care about there sellers. If you have items to sell, your better off on gunauctions.com
Site is difficult to deal with first of all because there is absolutely no one to talk to other than email, and emails can go up to a week without a response. According to their guidelines, they have limited monetary reimbursement from fraud, and that is not true. I bought a rifle that was absolutely not as described, had irrefutable proof of the transaction and Gunbroker.com chose to do nothing about that. I'd say this makes them a fraud. The system is geared so that they get their money no matter what happens. There's a lot of guns that are being sold as something they aren't, and there is no way of policing any of it. Buyer beware.
Impossible to register. User names all rejected and no customer service to help resolve this issue. No way to communicate. I will take my business elsewhere.
I don't know why buyers are complaining.
I just won the first auction I bid on, and the sellers all clearly state the price, whether there is a reserve amount or not (amount is not visible, though), and whether they charge taxes or CREDIT CARD FEES!
I chose one who did not charge a fee and used my card! Now I just contact my FFL dealer and pay him to receive it for me.
If the deal goes wrong from here, I will write a new review.
I've purchased a rifle and parts from this site in the past year. I've had contact with the broker/seller and/or FFL in all cases and have had no problems. As long as they got their money they've held up their side of the deal/handshake (knock on wood). But I realize this is not always the case and there are scumbags out there, luckily I have not hit on one yet. This is a great site to get bargains and/or base prices, but as all websites a buyer beware! I recommend talking and emailing the seller on large purchases as I have done. It sure made me feel much more at ease.
I've bought and sold for several years on this site with no problems. However, about 6 months ago two people who had won auctions for guns I had for sale, backed out after the end of the bidding. Gunbroker charged my credit card for both sales that never completed and would not refund the money. I found there is no way to talk to a human being at this company, therefore customer service is non-existent. I'll continue buying here on a limited basis, but all selling I do from now on will be at GunAuction (formerly Auction Arms) At GunAuction when you need to talk to someone, the owner of the business is available and happy to talk to you.
The negative comments about this site are obviously from the anti-gun crowd... their agenda is to smear and scare new users from visiting... those that know this is a good site will keep coming and the new users will probably be influenced not to trust... pretty sad when this is the best they can do... I urge you to think about how much negative feedback is here... it's not normal... I have never been burned by this site in 15 years... and have talked to some very nice people in this country from Washington to Florida... mom and pop stores just trying to make a living doing what they can to get by... I wish these liberal haters had something better to do... but alas this is their choosing and they have nothing better to do than to try to tear down a thriving industry that serves millions!
NOBODY PAYS WHEN THEY WIN AUCTIONS. GUNBROKER STILL COLLECTS THE FEES THOUGH.
BUYER AND SELLER BEWARE!
Have been on this site for over 10 years and done 100's of successful deals! But with any site that you routinely buy and sell off of; you do run into dirt bags that don't understand or expect more than they paid for! I received a negative feedback from one of these dirt balls because I didn't promptly ship an item even though I refunded the fellow's money as soon as found out about the problem! I had explained to ths dirt ball that I was in the hospital with a life threathening illness and all he had to say is that I should have shipped the item or refunded his money promptly-- I even returned his uncashed money order that took him three weeks to send in the first place but that was not good enough! So if you can put up with the occasional dirtball this site s the best one I have ever been on; forget the others you will like Gunbroker!
Can't prove the connection, but within 24 hours of giving them my CC # to verify my email address I had 7-8 fraudulent charges on my CC from a variety of different merchants; most of them for small amounts and over half of them to segments of APPLE's website. I had not used my CC for any other puroses that day. They have yet to "approve" my use of their services, which I'm now reluctant to do anyway. Maybe CC Co. Can uncover some connection and/or pattern here - remains to be seen. Just suggesting you be vigilant and monitor your CC charges if you give them you #...
I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this but this is the way I feel...
If you buy from websites based in China, Nigeria, Congo, Namibia, Iran, Syria, etc etc... a good rule of thumb is don't buy technology (phones, computers, cars etc...) and food (baby food, formula etc...).
If you buy anything at all... buy cheap plastic things like cd holders and make sure they aren't priced over $5. This goes for palm reading too.
Also when you order from places like this don't give them a credit card number otherwise you will be overcharged. Use something safer like a disposable credit card that only has $5 of credit.
PS. Don't order more than one item at a time that way your never out more than $5.
Gun Broker Site is not a Reputable Business. The Site does not provide any Customer Service regarding issues concerning your purchases or Seller's who have sold you items that were mis-represented.
There is no way to contact Gun Broker directly # No Phone number # No Way To Speak To Someone other then via email and hope they respond to your concern. I doubt they will.
If you leave NEGATIVE feedback regarding a Seller who wronged you on Gun Broker. Be advised if the seller is a dealer the comment will eventually be DELETED or REMOVED and you will be given negative feedback in return. Its a Complete JOKE how this INTERNET SITE OPERATES. Your better off going to your local gun store where you can see the item / items your buying so you know exactly what your getting. IMOP there is no Deals on Gun Broker if you can get beat out of your hard earned money.
With the RISK involved with purchasing an item online through Gun Broker and no REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE/SUPPORT don't Risk purchasing on the site.
If you read the other Negative Feedback comments from consumer's who have purchased on Gun Broker. It's already VALIDATED.
Answer: Asking the wrong guy, will never return to that site, quite pleased with Auction Arms
Answer: One can hope the FEDS would shut them down you and every one else that uses them is in serious peril from the web site owners. They are the most unethical people you will find, In for the quick buck and non existant customer service. PLEASE try other sites to conduct your legitamite business on GB stinks.
Answer: I would absolutely look locally, ask a policeman where they would recommend you shop or google gun dealers in your area and then check the reviews. Under "no" circumstance would I suggest you do anything with GunBroker except delete, block and ignore. Run form them. Integrity does not exist here. My guns were withdrawn within a week or so of listing and now almost a year later they are still trying to access funds from my credit card. These people are not to be trusted with your personal financial information. Unless of course you enjoy drama, problems and working with people of questionable ethics.
Answer: I paid my seller within hours but he did not like the closing bid so he added a to high shipping. He relisted and sold for more $ and GB branded me a non payer.
Answer: Part of their scam
Answer: How many ways can you spell scam
