I gave them 2 chances to make it right. Tonight I was sitting outside for an hour waiting on my order. I get a text saying my order was delivered. They tried to blame it on me. Saying the driver knocked on the door and left my food. I was outside the entire time. I will never use grubhub again. They are not customer friendly.
I ordered Wendy's from grubhub. It took almost two hours, according to tracking, it was in the driver's car for almost an hour. The good was soggy and old tasting. My food total was 22 dollars I added a 20 percent tip and my bill ended up 44 dollars. RIP off. If you're going to charge that kind of delivery fee at least get food delivered fresh. I will never order from them again.
Tried to order through Grubhub to celebrate an important day. Got a text saying food was delivered--no food. Tried to text and call the driver--no response, mailbox full. Not that we could eat food delivered to someone else anyway, even if they'd retrieved it! Called customer service, who canceled the order but when I said this is dinner, can we please put the order through again, they said they called the restaurant and that I would get my email and text about the delivery. I asked several times, but how much time do you think it will take, and are you sure I'm going to get an email/text about the next order? Yes, I was told, several times, and they said the time would be in the next email. After waiting 15 minutes, post call, I called the restaurant. They were very apologetic, said someone had called them, that they had canceled the payment, and THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL BACK WITH REORDER AND NEVER DID. When I called customer service again, they said they could see the notes on our cancellation, but that Grubhub can't reorder for us--that I would have had to do it again, which was NOT what the first customer service representative said. He lied. Why? I don't know. But the upshot is, the evening was ruined and we had no dinner delivery. Thanks, Grubhub. Thanks a lot.
Over charges... takes from restaurants... drivers never available... garbage customer service... even had to place a complaint with the Attorney General of our state to get our money back for an order that was never delivered.
The service was poor. Just use DoorDash. They cancelled my order last minute when no other restaurants are open leaving us with no food. Ordered the next day and item missing and instructions not read. Tried cancelling my plus membership because it would be unused for a month because of too many mistakes and wont refund.
I ordered my food around 6pm and they had the nerve 2 1/2 hours later to cancel my order. They didn't give me a reason why my food was cancelled. Just that I would get my money put back on my card in 5 business days. They changed the time of my delivery 7 times. Making me feel my food was on the way. I don't recommend nobody use their services because you won't get your food. Use anybody else to deliver your food. They are not a reliable delivery service company. I would rate them with 0 stars they don't deserve none.
Three strikes you're out, Grubhub. Such a good concept ruined by poor customer service and order inaccuracies. We've used Grubhub four times and the order was wrong 75% of the time. Last night was the final straw. How do you leave an entire bag at the restaurant? And there is no accountability so that means the restaurant takes the hit when they have to refund food items.
Twice we have ordered from GH and twice we had items forgotten by the driver. The drivers were different each time, and neither would not pick up the phone with the contact number given. When I chatted with the GH representative I was told we would get a refund on the missing items and then they decided to only refund about half the cost. I called the restaurant to talk with them about our orders and they said they have had nothing but problems with the whole GH system. The restaurant was going to refund us but the GH system wont allow it. It just overall a poorly run business. We tried GH twice and now it's time to try a competitor.
I cant stand grub hub. I sat here for over a hour waiting for my tracking to say on it's way and instead I get sorry your orders been canceled. Didnt say why. But this is like the 10th time it's done it to me. Nothing bad about the drivers. But I'm just so confused why almost everytime I place a order they make me wait a whole hour till they cancel. I hate grub hub. I have more then enough money on my card. You just suck!
I paid a almost 100 bucks for three cheese steaks and cheese fries LAST friday. 20 Mins before it was suppose to be delivered they canceled our order and i have still yet to get my refund. It feels like there trying to steal from me. DONT SUPPORT THESE THEIFS
I placed an order through GrubHub to be delivered by 630p. Never got my food. Restaurant remembers bagging my food and that it was picked up. GrubHub kept saying it will be there. Thanks for ruining my anniversary!
Order was delayed over 1.5h because the system or the driver was adding orders to his route. So the driver just kept waiting and adding new orders. Worst part is Grubhub lied about what was happening so I called the restaurant directly. Grubhub blames the restaurant for the delay. Meanwhile the driver was just piling his deliveries. Feel the love Grubby Hub.
I ordered at El Loro Mexican resto using grubhub at 8:02 pm and they processed right away the payment but they kept on delaying the delivery time. They kept on changing the time until it's almost 2 hrs wait and they have not delivered it yet. It's almost 10 pm now and they again posted that it will be delivered between 10:05- 10:15 Pm. This is unacceptable!
Absolutely hate this site. I ordered my food and it took 2 hours to get here. Called the driver 2-3 times and messaged her with NO RESPONSE! Called the restaurant and they said its been ready for a while and that they called the driver and several times with no answer as well. I contacted Grubhub and they didn't care. They offered to cancel and refund me but then I wouldn't get my food and once I said I wanted my food they disconnected. I had to talk to 2 different people. Told them I would not be ordering from them again and they didn't care. They said, "Okay. Thank you for chatting with me." and thats it.
We have used Grubhub two times in about five years. The only reason that we used them a second time is because we had a gift certificate. Part of our order was missing both times. There is not even a number to call. They will only offer to place a second order for you to receive your missing items - which is another service fee with another tip for a driver. With our second order, the restaurant actually called and said our order was ready but they couldn't find the driver. I would not recommend.
I understand that during these difficult times things are not always going to go smoothly. I'm not asking for perfection. But, three of the last four orders from Grubhub have either been delayed or cancelled. Customer service chat was absolutely useless. I'm done with this delivery service, I'll stick with DoorDash from now on.
I would give no stars if this was an option. I have ordered with Grubhub 3 times, and all three orders were canceled after I had waited an extended time for my meals. Restaurants have told me that they have a problem with them not picking up orders, so they are sticking it to the restaurants as well. They are the absolute worse, and I will never use them again. On the other hand, I highly recommend Uber Eats. I have never had a problem with them.
I've ordered twice on Grubhub. The first time my order kept being pushed later and later. I reached out to GB and they apologized and got someone to pick my order up then gave me a $10 credit. Fool me once. Ordered again and delivery time came and went, called the restaurant and they told me they don't get grub hub orders... but the restaurant is listed on Grubhub's app and for my location. Called GH. It was like one of the worst phone connections. They refunded my order, but I'll never order through this app again.
Curbside delivery means curbside delivery and not ring the doorbell and have someone come out and greet the delivery driver. I checked the box and even left a comment to leave in front of the door.!. Never again!

This was my second time using Grubhub and will NEVER do it again. Both times the delivery was HOURS late. HOURS. Their response was "well it's rush hour "... rush hour isn't 9pm on a TUESDAY! I am a nurse and I will be telling EVERYONE not to use this service!
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
Answer: Both. But he is not alone, unfortunately. He only got exposed. Millions others are working in politically intolerant places. We have to change that.
Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
