I gave Grubhub a million chances. The first 2-3 times I ordered with them were great. Painless, not terribly priced, accurate. The last several times myself or my husband have ordered have been awful. Just now, my husband is on his way to pick up our food from a restaurant 25 minutes away (we have one one mile away, but the Grubhub app apparently doesn't use that one. DoorDash does btw). We ordered at 6:20. Delivery said around 7:15-7:25.7:15 rolls around and my husband checks the app. Now says 7:45-7:55 (this delayed time has happened with almost every single delivery I've ever had from them). Okay, we wait. Open the app again around 7:40 to check, now says 8:05-8:15. Driver still not assigned, no tracking info available, and no signs that it's going anywhere any time soon. Call the restaurant, they say it's been ready since 6:45. Call Grubhub and they have no clue what's happening, can't promise someone will even get there in the next 30 minutes. We cancelled our order and called the restaurant back to see if we could just pick up the food there, so now my husband is picking up our food and Grubhub offered a measly 20% off. They suck. In the past I've had the driver hand us the wrong customer order, not deliver ever, take two hours, or deliver a completely incorrect order. The best I've ever received from them was a coupon in exchange, almost always with an expiration date in the near future. I deleted their app over a year ago but we thought surely they must have their $#*! together by now, and they had a good deal on our favorite place. Nope. They're still terrible. DoorDash is a phenomenal customer experience, and even Uber Eats with all its fees is far superior because at least they get it right.

Grubhub is the WORST! So many times I've ordered through them and then they cancel my order... AN HOUR later. Really!?! I've deleted the app and will NEVER use them. Too many better options. Actually, my daughter drives for another company and has gotten to a restaurant where a GrubHub order had been sitting on the counter for 90 mins! They blow!

I have placed 2 orders through this company for the same restaurant and neither time my order could not be found so both times I had to reorder my food and pay for my food again. And when I have called I have been on hold for well over 15 mins. I have also tried to email and no one has responded. I am very aggravated. Both orders were over $55.00. This is irresponsible on the companies part. I will never use grub hub again.

Usually GrubHub is the number one place I would go to order my food through but today I ordered food, I waited two hours to get my food from Grubhub I texted the person who is picking it up Mark asked him where my food was because I saw him drive to the food place on the maps then I saw him leaving the food place, then I saw him driving the opposite way from where I live 30 minutes later I see him parked 25 minutes away from my house and he sat there for an hour I texted him asked him where my food was it's been an hour and a half since And still don't have my food he said I'm having car troubles And I told my captain. I said OK cool am I still getting my food he said yes should be! So I waited two hours gone by and at this point I'm not even hungry anymore I am so pissed that my hunger disappeared so I called the food place they didn't answer I went I drove myself up to the food place asked if they even came and got it. I talked to the manager the manager came out and told me no no one came to pick up your food. So I'm thinking OK so he didn't take my food and he's not eating it so what happen! So thankfully The manager was nice made my food fresh and sent me on my way. I am giving GrubHub zero stars because I should not have to wait two hours for my food and I should not have to go get my food and I should not have to contact the driver my self to see where the hell my food is, after this experience I am no longer trusting GrubHub or ever using them again and I will spread the word.

I placed an order at 5PM thru Grub Hub, they took my money and I waited and waited. The app changed the delivery time three times. I finally contacted the driver who told me the restaurant never received the order. She also told me she had been on hold for an hour trying to talk with Grub Hub. This entire time the app was telling me my order would be delivered at 7 PM. I then called Grub hud and was on hold for an hour. When someone finally answered I asked for the order to be canceled and my money refunded. Now I have to wait 5 buisness days to get my money back, bearing in mind as soon as I placed my order they debited my account. I am never ordering from Grub Hub again.

HORRIBLE

This is the second time we tried delivery thru Grubhub... NEVER again will we use them. First time delivery person was so rude and mean. Then the second time they kept extending our delivery time further and further out. So my husband went and picked up our dinner. NEVER AGAIN!

Your process sucks. If you have no accountability for the restaurant to actually be able to confirm order and verifyy you are delivering nothing. Give up, your model is shot.

My family and I waited over an hour and a half to find out that our order was canceled(just as many reviews have already stated). The only reason we tried Grubhub is because we had a gift certificate. Typically, I use Doordash and sometimes Uber-eats, where I have had little to no issues. Grubhub should go out of business, their customer service is despicable. $#*! GRUBHUB.

We waited an hour and half only to have order cancelled. Your company should have told us WAY in advance that you did not have a driver. Hwy 55 provided our order promptly and I hope you have reimbursed them for the lost food. Either provide the services you offer or stop advertising that you can! And 20% promo code is an insult!

I have never used grubhub and someone else used my name and phone number I received a threatening phone call from a grubhub delivery person I even got done explaining that my name was used on someone else's account I have no idea on who to report this too I most will never ever use this service.

$#*! you Grubhub. This is the second time we have used there $#*!ty service. I suggest to anyone that wants food delivered to them don't use Grubhub, pick it up them selves. Evan if your drunk of high, drive and pick it up yourself. Grubhub should be forced out of business.

Ordered from ElMagway. Waited and waited. A driver finally called.He said Like hey man we don't deliver for them. So I had to go thru the crap to get the charges reversed. If they don't... drop them off your stupid app! 5 day wait!

The grubhub delivery drivers aren't even wearing masks to pick up the food. Grubhub is being used by people who can't or are afraid to go out during corona virus and Grubhub isn't even taking basic precautions.

Husband and I ordered from Subway come to find out the man that was doing the delivery wasn't even the man that was supposed to be doing the delivery it was supposed to be his wife and she wasn't even in the car don't waste your time not worth it once burned never again...

I've ordered from them twice and the first time I had to go pick up my own order and they still charged me for delivery! Even when you call customer service they are really rude! This is the second time I order today and once again something happened with my order stupid drivers I swear. They canceled my order like really? Can they ever do anything right?

Im a grubhub driver myself and I make sure these customers get there order!

I ordered food to arrive between 9:50-10:00 PM. The order then got delayed to 10:30 and then to 10:50-11:00! When I called to cancel I was not given an apology but an, "Oh okay" My son went to bed hungry cause he has school the next day and this service is appalling. This is the second time it happened I assure you I will NEVER order with this lousy company again.

My paid membership is good to 5/9/2020, grubhub cancel it on 4/27/2020. I chat with customer service twice and couldn't get this resolved. The agent told me that they have to take time to review it even though I provide the proof of my payment. It's been 1 week already and I didn't hear anything back from Grubhub. What is the point of buying membership? I paid for the membership but didn't get the service? And you have take 1 week to investigate and have no answers? I told the agent that I am an essential worker and I need to order diner for my kids. They don't even care... Scam...
