Ordered. Waited. Contacted driver 4+ times. Was delivered to wrong home address. Tried to help driver. Tried to file a complaint in app and the complaint department was "down." So I called, and they told me I had to go through the app. Messaged the driver again because the app complaint section wasn't working, still. Called the company again and they basically said "whoops - we'll refund you. We hope you'll use us again! :)) ))". Two hours later.
Grubhub has the worst customer service and is a scam. I was looking up a local restaurant and clicked on the restaurants site
We received a text saying out order large order ($200+) had been cancelled at the time it was to be delivered. Thinking we needed to double check with the restaurant we found out that the order had been ready for 20 minutes and was waiting to be picked up. If we hadn't checked with them they would have lost not only the sale but all the food that they had prepared for us. I'm discussed with how Grubhub handled this situation and thankful that we reached out to the restaurant directly.
Besides my order arriving cold and no cheese on my chesseburgers, I spent 54.00 on an order from Wendy's and they refunded 6.71. Stick to Uber eats from now on.
Guy delivered I asked him who's delivery was and he said a different name so I waited 30 minutes in the lobby at Saint Joe's in Ann Arbor when overlooked it was ours that guy was f****** Dent I was f****** Dent and Leo's Coney and epsilanti sucks
WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DO NOT USE GRUB HUB!
I placed an order for 10 items at a cost of $91.00. I waited almost and hour and received a 3 item order that totaled $28.72. I called the delivery driver who claimed he did his job by delivering the wrong order. I called the restaurant and they told me to call the delivery driver and Grub Hub. After chatting with Grub Hub and being disconnected 3 times, they refunded my money and said that it was the best that they could do. Now it has been over an hour and a half and I don't have my order.
And, the other person whose order I received doesn't have their food either. I hope they received a refund.
I ordered food through grubhub 2 hours ago, and the restaurant said they'd make the food, but Grubhub won't pick it up, and is now making the cancer patients kids starve... claiming that the restaurant canceled. The restaurant never canceled, Grubhub called to speak to a employee not a manager, and took their word. How unprofessional that they not ask for a member of management when losing business for the the night. Paying membership is canceled, and will never order from them again.
I've been ordering grubhub since the on set of 2020 like most of us. COVID. I've had orders dropped or they couldn't get there. But I live in a very easy house. I have my phone # updated, I give great tips. I know if they drop it or say they couldn't deliver. I get the refund I'm a patient person I have kids. But when they are hungry its gloves off!. I ordered tonight after a 20hr shift. The driver said she looked for 5 mins and called 2x. I had my phone on me and I was outside. She never called, marked it as delivered, and then berated me for it. Annie should not serve anyone, I'm surprised she has a job. She needs to find something for a more simple person, I'm sure shes enjoying our steak.
GrubHub you have a serious problem with your drivers not using the insulated bags that are provided to them. Its lazy and unprofessional! My meals arrive consistently cold! I live in the northeast so its very cold out this time of year!
No stars for starters it was supposed to be free delivery it wasn't. I was credited 4.99 but charged five somewhere else. The tip amount went up the next page from five to six dollars not a big deal but why? I was trying to change it to pickup because of the excessive fees. I scrolled back my browser and it submitted the order without ever taking me to PayPal to authorize the transaction. Then when the food got here one of the main courses was missing. I called the store directly because they know me and asked to get it because dealing with grub hub is a headache. Oh and the restaurant told me that they told the driver that there was no chicken wings (the missing dish) and the guy didn't even tell me this upon delivery Overall they just suck
Grub hub is terrible I've ordered food and it's canceled. I've ordered food and it is delayed. I CANCELED my subscription. It's a joke!
Sat here waiting on my kids food only for the driver to take it to someone else's home. I didn't mind the leave it at the door option, but they could of had a driver competent enough to make sure he was delivering it to the right house. Numbers are on homes for a reason. If it's not free I will NEVER order through them again. A refund and credit does not resolve the issue of my grandkids not getting their food.
They added $2-$3 per item over restaurant prices, Delivery fee, tip for driver plus a stupid processing fee?! Will never use Grubhub/"grubyour$"
Terrible service. Doordash is way better then this company. When you have a complaint doordash gives you full frefind and you get to keep food. Unlike grubhub doordash is always on time and customer service is a lot better than this company. I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone. Order place at 9:03pm
Ordered the food through grubgub from Applebee's. 2 samplers. Both came without the spinach dip. Called grubhub and they contacted Applebee's. Applebees confirmed the price of their spinach dip. I get a refund of $0.89 for each. WOW! THE ORDER FOR TWO SAMPLERS WAS $50. I'M LESS ONE ITEM OUT OF 4 X'S TWO SAMPLERS AND GET LESS THAN A $2 REFUND. JUST WOW.
I place an order at my local pizza place, 5 minute drive from my house. I wasn't feeling well so I was willing to pay the ridiculous amount to have it delivered. My order was suppose to be delivered at 1:40 PM. I called the restaurant at 2:30 and they said the food was sitting there waiting for grubhub. Around 4:30 I contacted Grubhub to cancel and ordered from another pizza place. At 4:53 Grubhub sent a text saying my food will arrive at 4:37 which makes no sense because it's almost 5:00. Basically I put a order in before 1:30 and grubhub showed up at 5:00. I DON'T WANT OLD FOOD THAT HAS BEEN SITTING IN THE RESTAURANT!
I didn't except the food. I never got any kind of refund and never was able to fix this situation with grubhub.
I never got my pizza for my daughter's birthday party. But they gave me a 5 dollar credit for when I order next. Which means they don't care and I will not be ordering agian. #nogrubhub #nouber
Delivery driver SHY was completely rude disrespectful. Did not follow instructions given online or via text message. Left food on bench and said $#*! for asking her to bring to my door!
And did not wear a MASK!
My gf and I have ordered on grubhub several times and the food has NEVER actually made it to our house, LOL. I'm laughing through hunger pains. Yeah they give us refunds but holy $#*!, after two hours of waiting it really sucks not to get your food.
I've only ordered through GrubHub a handful of times and it seems like every time my order has never come. I've had to get managers involved on those occasions from the restaurant as there is no way to contact GrubHub via phone number. Or if there is, I've never been able to find the phone number. Needless to say I'm disappointed and I'm hungry.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.

Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
