The lazy Grubhub driver left my food on the 1st floor of my apartment building on the floor in front of a revolving door. I live on the 5th floor. I just had back surgery & was told not to move around. I had to get dress while in PAIN to get my food. I had to take the elevator down to the 1st fl. When I arrived the bag of food was on the floor in front of the front entrance of the building where there is so much foot traffic. There was a foot print on the bag so someone must have stepped on it. I threw the food away. Will NEVER use Grubhub again. Lazy ghetto drivers!

Order never came, then they canceled the order completely on me. Never Again will I trust Grub Hub
I ordered Dairy Queen which is directly across the road from my apartment. I got a text saying my delivery would be between 8:51 and 9:01. But instead of the driver making a 5 minute delivery to my apartment, they decided to drive 15 minutes away and deliver a couple of more orders. So my delivery time went from 10 minutes to over 33. I canceled the order and the driver got mad at me because she has already picked up the order. I told her that I have waited almost 40 minutes for ice cream. I didn't just pay $28 for melted ice cream. I will never use Grubhub again because of their incompetence.
Initially grubhub was fine. Then their web developers screwed it up. Here is what they need to know:
1.90% of people are using their phone to order
2. You can't downlosd an App from google if your phones are on a family plan
3. The web implementation has this main problem for a smart phone: The touch screen touch locations seem to be the last to get downloaded, after every picture from every restaurant, which takes forever and if you touch the screen before that happens it sends you somewhere random you didn't want to go and the back button will likely take you back to sign in! That hsppens 75% of the time so ordering is a long frustrating experience and the restaurants are closing before you can get your order in.
4. The search facility is crap. You can't search for food like " Cod and chips"
5. The pre-programmed search categories like Ice Cream give crap results, e.g. pizza restaurants. They are not updating for each area.
6. McDonalds is always top of every page whatever you are looking for. What MacD is paying you for that, Grubhub, is not worth your plummeting market share

Even though i tipped, (and paid a 2 dollar delivery fee on top) the delivery guy left the box on the floor outside my door, and didn't bother to see that i got everything i ordered. Never again
I purchased a Grub Hub digital gift card for a friend in another state who had recently had surgery. When they tried to use the gift card, it would not allow the card to be used. After each of us calling (being told by the "customer service" reps that they had to talk to the other) and spending hours on the phone, being re-routed innumerable times and given the run around, we were told the card had been fraudulently used AND Grub Hub would not issue a refund. This business is a SCAM and I warn anyone that uses them that their money, time and sanity is at risk! At best, the customer service is a JOKE as it is just people answering the phone, reading from a script and routing people endlessly till they give up. Hopefully my lost $100 will not be for nothing and this will warn people away from this company and eventually they'll have to go out of "business"…
Services are so slow n ridiculous they extend your delivery time just cause they can't find a driver.
I ordered food on 3/31/22. The food was never delivered. I contacted Grub Hub who tried to call the driver to no avail. Initially they only wanted to issue me a partial refund. I refused. They told me they would cancel the order and give me a full refund. I received a text stating the refund had been processed. The refund was never credited to my card. I have been trying to get a refund for over 2 months and Grub Hub sends the same scripted text message every time "they've requested and processed a refund". Today I've spoken to two customer service people who told me I was never charged and when I tried to send a copy of my CC statement they hung up. These people are crooks!
GrubHub apps do not give dependable Restaurant information- grubHub keeps saying that particular restaurants are closed when in fact they are not- I guess the drivers just don't wanna go there.
Here is another company I have given 7 months before I added a negative review. I have never ever called a company so much every day for 7 months just to change my email. It is an entire company of misfits running this company. If you love Tylenol, ibuprofen and headaches, doing GrubHub. We cut all ties. I could take talking to another misfit. You can cc all, call, call, call, call, call, call, call, call, call and more calls and they will never ever get it right. There must be a Candid Camera hidden there somewhere to see people's response to their incompetence. Good riddance. We use DoorDash and UberEats now, exclusively
My order, over $60, has typed over in the bag. The food containers were sideways, and all the Mexican food plates slopped on top of themselves and leaking all over the bag. Ruined my dinner!
I ordered food at about 12:00am for my wife and i who were both starving and hadnt ate sinve breakfast. The delivery tine said 60 to 75 minutes, but we were willing to wait because nothing else was open. 120 minutes later we checked the status and it said to call the restaurant. The reataurant yelled ALL ORDERS ARE OUT! And then hing up on me. At 3:30 am i finally got on chat to get a refund OR more food... and they said refund would be issued in 3 to 5 days, and we would get a 5 dollar credit. We never got the credit, and we still dont know if refund is coming. No one called when waiting, app still said delivery was on the way when it was already 45 minutes late... and when trying to refund isnt easy. Anyway, company sucks. There are better options out there... door dash etc
I plugged in my address years ago, and mistakenly put the address as the house next door. Ever since, I've re-entered my address and the system keeps overriding it with the wrong address.
This has happened repeatedly. When I order, I do not see the wrong address popping up anywhere, and again, keep putting in the correct one.
Tonight, as usual, the delivery driver went to the house next door and of course, they either turned him away or didn't answer. Fortunately, I answered the text and went down to meet him.
Then he got extremely beligerent, insisting on showing me on his phone the address (which was incorrrect) and told me he should have just thrown my order into the street. He was a big fellow, and very intimidating, I tried to tell him that the address on his phone was not the one I entered on-line, but then he threatened to hit me in some fashion. He almost wouldn't give me my order. I sort of had to grab it and run inside our door, which locks behind me. It was, frankly, traumatic.
There's obviously some bug in the system that won't let me correct the address, but also this driver was, let's say, less than understanding (especially since I was out there to get the order after I got his text).
From now on, we'll use other delivery services - I don't want to go through all that drama again.
This is the worst delivery service ever. They kept upping the ETA of my delivery by 10-15 minutes. Took over an hour to get my food. By then it was cold and tasteless. Only reason I ordered delivery was because my car is being serviced. I will never use this service again.
I enjoy the service Grubhub offers, in spite of the high price. What has been completely ridiculous recently is - I'm getting a message to "wear a mask to keep everyone safe" when the food arrives.
I order to eat ALONE in my own house. Wearing a mask to eat ALONE in my OWN house makes zero sense. Please keep the commentary on masks to yourself GH and stop assuming things about people.
Somebody opened a grubhub account in my name. Using my email and phone number. When I "Tried" to contact Grubhub by phone to report this fraud. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT ANYONE. I was on the phone trying to contact Grubhub for over 2 hours. 5 TIMES I WAS THROWN OFF THE PHONE FOR WAITING SOMETIMES 1/2 HOUR. I AM NOW RIGHT NOW WAITING AGAIN BY MY PHONE. Almost 1 hour with No answer. Trying to email is also impossible. WHAT A HORRIBLE DISFUNCTION COMPANY. WHICH I WILL NEVER USE!
Placed an order online,, 30 min delivery window... No email con·fir·ma·tion. Debited my bank account,, Called the restaurant no order exist... Called Grubhub no information... I called Wells Fargo and they quickly took care of it
This was my first time ever ordering with grub hub and I will NEVER order again! My food never showed up! I called grub hub 3 times to get a ETA & when I was notified that my ordered was picked up from the restaurant it was never delivered to me. So I'm sure the driver just stole my food. Definitely would not recommend them to deliver your food!
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
Answer: Both. But he is not alone, unfortunately. He only got exposed. Millions others are working in politically intolerant places. We have to change that.
Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
