Money stolen
July 13, 2016

I purchased an item in groupon wich i never received. They advice me to pay again and told me that they would process the refund for the first purchase and it wouldnt take more than 10 business days. So i did it. This time i got the item, but never got the refund. I contacted them in several ocations and they blamed it on the bank, it was the same account that they previously withdraw the money from. So they had all the info and i provided it again, i had no success in getting the money back. They stole me $164. I submitted a formal complaint in a goverment website. Dont recomend to purchase from this website at all. Be really careful!

This item was billed as a "down alternative" comforter set. They had the original price at $200 but was marked down $36 99. There is nothing down-like about this comforter. It is a polyester piece of junk that was not worth even the 37 bucks that I paid. I will not buy a Groupon good again.

I would rather buy a used product from the flee market than buy another item with this shell game master. Talk about slide of hand: the add states priced reduced sale priced, only a few left. I purchased a comforter bed set that was nothing but junk. The quality was so poor, the misleading hype was 174.00 now marked down to 39.99, so I bought the item. When I received it, it was in a Chinese written box, my first red flag. I opened it up to find a bag of junk. The quality is so poor that this is not worth my time to box the junk back up. I will not buy another item through this service. They told me they check all their vendors out and they all pass the quality control to sell on groupon. That is a big LIE because this set is junk and cheap might be worth 5 bucks. They should rebrand themselves as junk on. Buy at your own risk, I will not buy again from this con game.

Why don't you include very important, critical information that should be included in the offer? I bought a "Zerona" body-sculpting/coolsculpting groupon, went the very next day from purchasing it, a Sunday, to have a consult. In that consult I found that they say it will not be effective unless you use their "Preparation plan" for supplements that exceeded the cost of the treatments at the Groupon deal. That should be disclosed up front. I wasted a lot of time today on this.

If using their iPhone app, it is very easy to make accidental purchases. On top of this their customer service is awful and refuses to help. I even has a customer service rep hang up on me as I was right and they needed to refund my money.

Dont buy any electronic devices with a dependency on an operating system. I bought an HP elitebook that was sent to me loading with illegal software. Microsoft will not verify it and Groupon customer service blames me for not catching the issue within 2 weeks. No the laptop is completely useless. I know only companies with good reputations associate with groupon so I will be informing HP and Microsoft that their products are being sold illegally.

Groupon has such amazing deals. It's usually 50% for services like massages, facials, pedicures, etc. Where else can you get such a great deal?! Also, every time I've called customer service I've been blown away by how helpful they are. They really want customers to be happy. I highly recommend Groupon!

I had to call my bank, cancel my card and file a fraud claim against them... they are horrible and just care about money!

"I am a merchant that at this time hava to use Groupon to fill a few seats during our busy season. I am not reviewing Groupon but reviewing its sense of entitled customers.
Groupons customers are by far the worst customers that walk through or doors.
Like mentioned they have this sense of entitlement because they have this voucher from a third party group and don't understand we just use them for advertisement and not affiliated in any other way. They demand more, call more, want more discounts, and think they are owed more even though they rarely look at our web site and know what we offer. They refuse to read our clearly stated terms/fine print on our deal and it is some how our fault when they don't get there way?! Groupon customers also think our policies (cancellation policies) don't apply to them because they have this magical voucher. News flash: You are the lowest of our priorities. Last off, as I could go on all day! We are a gratuity based business. These impulse buyers are the worst non tipping people we have ever seen. Our crew depends on tips and when we fill our seats with these discount hunters and then Groupon takes its 50% cut, we barley break even! The day we stop running Groupons will be the happiest day for our small business. "

I ordered some B12 patches. The tracking number for USPS stated that it was deliverd to my mail box, they are locked boxes, but there was nothing in the box from Groupon. I called and complained that I had not received it. I was told that tracking says it was delivered and that I need to contact my neighbors to see if they got it by mistake or if someone signed for it. Obviously no signature was required or it would have been available to see on the tracking or at least a person who signed for it. So they use the USPS for delivery but if package is not delivered, it is your responsibility to find it. The patches were delivered on 7/5, if a neighbor had them they would have given them back to me, but nothing, so someone is wearing my B12 patches and GROUPON says your problem. I cannot find if the FOB is destination or origin. If destination they have to find out where they are, not me but cannot find it. So there are many of these sites like Groupon, I would recommend using any of them except GROUPON, as if there is an issue and things do not go right, than it is up to you as the customer to find your merchandise. GO ELSEWHERE for your bargains. BAD BAD

I had store credit from a pair of boots that I returned and as I was waiting for an in stock notice on another size, which never happened, the site was gone and so was my credit! That is a really crappy way of doing business and I don't see how that wouldn't be considered theft!

I purchased a Photive Apple Watch Band 42mm Milanese Loop Bracelet Strap: Black, March 31,2016 through Groupon and received the product about a week afterward. The band looked and worked well and I was a happy buyer.
June 22,2016, less than 90 days after purchase, I was on a plane leaving the country and noticed the magnet on the end of the band slipping a little making the watch loose on my wrist. Upon inspecting the band, there is a silver plate covering the magnet, which had separated from the band, exposing the magnet embedded in the clasp to weather, and causing the magnet to rust.

I returned to the USA July 5, and contacted Groupon July 6,2016 to report the poor craftsmanship. I chatted with Maria M. Who reviewed the purchase and refused to provide any help to me. I know there is a 14 day return policy, but thats for issues of buyers remorse or a product that was damaged upon receipt. Certainly a product should be expected to have a useful life of more than 3 months. Next I asked Maria to simply provide the name of the manufacturer and I would contact them personally to discuss the quality of their product. She refused to provide even the company name to me.

Groupon relies on satisfied customers to profit, and knowing not all transactions will go smoothly, should represent their customers against companies that produce inferior products. Knowing Groupon will not assist against poor craftsmanship means I will not be purchasing any other products from them. I hope others read and heed reviews like this before purchasing any items from this poorly operated company.

Groupon is a crooked site stay away from them. U pay for something and if you don't make the trip you can't get the money used towards another groupon which makes no sense. They like to say the sale is final and you can't get a refund but they should at least let the money be used towards another groupon. Crooks and i will never ever use them again.

FIne Print
July 6, 2016

I hope all users of this site are ready to gamble
They have specific fine prints and when there is a
Problem with your shipment they do not guarantee a refund
Of your money. Third party vendors are solely responsible and
Most of the times, they are no where to be found.
