Groupon was bought by a new company & they are shady. They already have a class action suit against them & sold me a Groupon for an out of business company & would only issue Groupon bucks - even though the offer was fraudulent. Never buy anything under this new ownership!
I placed an order on Groupon for 2 licenses of Microsoft Office Pro from a vendor. What I received was a different product. I contacted the company that I ordered them from, and they never received the order. Come to find out that Groupon changed it to a different vendor and different product. I contacted Groupon support/customer service and the best I got out of them after a week was it's in the fine print, and not returnable/creditable, nothing they would do. I did not order from the vendor the changed it to, and it wasn't the product that I ordered. To me, this is bait and switch and fraudulent on their part.

I have bad experience they are bad and make trick to the customers. I bought to then a lot itten and they charged to my Groupon bucks and to my bank account and they never refunded my money back.
It is astonishing Groupon is in business. I made the mistake of buying a Groupon, and the merchant was appalling. Groupon sent me a review link that didn't work—that can happen, but their response to the matter has been astonishing. Trying to deal with their "customer service" is like banging your head against the wall. They did absolutely nothing no matter how many times I contacted them, except waste y time with unbelievably idiotic replies. I have wasted almost two hours dealing with agents who are either illiterate or beyond incompetent, who are incapable of even identifying the problem let alone fixing it; all they seem able to do is waste as much of your time as possible; whatever money you think you'll save you will lose dealing with the usually shoddy merchants they promote and their relentless negligence
Bought Microsoft OS for Mac. Groupon sent me the code for the Windows and it is not working on my Mac computer Mac OS. Groupon (Geerthana Thiyagarajan) said " I looked into this deal's terms, and the Fine Print indicates that it's Final Sale. I'm afraid a refund isn't possible despite the circumstances." It is fraud business practice.
I purchased microdermabrasion package from a seller two years ago and forgot. I tried to call the seller to see if they would still honor the Groupon and they have since closed. I contacted Groupon to have the purchase converted to Groupon bucks and instead of redeeming for the entire $43, I only got $34.90. I have emailed them and googled trying to see why I was shorted and have not gotten an answer. They say you never lose the value of the Groupon but I did. No one will help me.
Groupon is a good deal but dealing with groupons customer service is the absolute worst service therefore won't be buying any more groupons!
Very dissatisfied, I used to go to this place but I don't know what happened. Because I went there once and the establishment was closed in a normal working hours, the other time they didn't have the filter for my car, and the other time they only had one employee and so I couldn't work on my car., but when I called today to see if they had the filter for my car and they said they no longer change the oil. So I'm trying to contact Grupon to ask for a refund and they don't have any number to contact and I tried via chat and no one answers me. Very disappointed.
My groupon was marked as redeemed by alianzahairamore even though I never went to her salon and I reached out to her and groupon and she did not respond and groupon did not help.
I purchased 3 concert tickets for SWV, JODECI, & DRU HILL in Baton Rouge Louisiana. Groupon charged me twice for the same seat. Not sure how that happened. I had to purchase a ticket at the venue. I reached out the next day, I also contacted my bank. Groupon will not refund me my money back. I sent copies of the tickets and my bank records as proof and they keep giving me the run around. This is my first and last time buying anything from Groupon.
I bought a massage and the lady never replied. A pizza family at Franco Manca and it was poor. A tea for two at Patisserie Valerie and they didn't have what we wanted. Dessert in market square and the place was never open. I got in touch to the customer service and they basically said thanks but we are good.
I have used Groupon twice to book an excursion. One in Key West and one in Hawaii. The Key West trip was cancelled and the Hawaii one said he doesn't accept Groupons because the take too much from him. He wanted me to cancel it and call back to book directly. Both times I had to fight with Groupon for a refund and neither time would they refund original form of payment. They both were over 300.00. I think this is a terrible way to do business and I will no longer be using them for anything.
I bought a groupon at Brazilian Beauty in long Island City/Astoria, NY. I contacted the salon and it was not a working number. I am trying to get a full refund and theyre telling me this bs that I got a discount. Please, groupon is already discounted, they are not going to give me a discount!
They have not refunded me back over a week i am still arguing with them about my refund i did not purchase a final sale item and did not even get to redeem. They are emailing back pretending as if they are saying anything regarding my refund and issue and arent saying at all pretending im not receiving their emails they are scammers and will take your money its not worth your money they are pieces of $#*!s as people and company. Extremely unprofessional! The second picture with email is the same one ive been getting since over a week just pretending they are emailing me and not saying anything at all i still dont have my refund and havent been refunded at all
Try to contact them to switch dates, but both phone numbers are disconnected, I tried getting my money back but my credit card company said that Groupon sent them proof that I redeemed my coupon for my dinner cruise which is a lie and against the law! First time using Groupon, and will be the last! I give them zero stars!
I have spent hundreds and hundreds of $ w groupon. In the beginning I was comfortable with knowing I was supported in my purchases. However I have over 500$ of groupons that are expired or merchant closed etc. I can not get anything resolved w this company. I do not suggest giving them any money or buisness
Groupon has turned into a big business that no longer cares about their customers! Add onto it, the horrible post-sale customer service where all I heard was that the sale is final and sorry for the inconvenience.
I bought a voucher for a Spartan Race, which had a title of "Valid for Any Race in 2023" and I can not use it for our team. In the fine print at the very, very, very bottom of the page, it says it is only good for the "Open" start times. So, not for a "Any" race, as the title states and mentioned nowhere in the highlights below it. Shady sales tactics!
I rarely use Groupon because of reasons like this one, I should have stuck to not using them for this purchase!

Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
