My sister and i spent thousands of dollars shopping in this website but we stopped because they kept promising us to provide a delivery service to my country ( bahrain) but they never did, we sent several emails to explain that the delivery charges are too high for us and we end up paying almost the original amount of the purchased items but they dont seem to care or understand, i also suggested sending through registered mail i know it takes long time but at least its cheap but they refused, i dont know why its difficult for them to cooperate or why they make it impossible to send items to my country, we like their goods quality but well never shop their again till they provide delivery service, and today my colleague asked me about it i simply didnt recommend it to her, i am so unhappy customer specially cuz i had to pay thousands on delivery.
I have never had a issue with my groupon now that be said I have yet to get a groupon out of the state of Texas, I stay with local company's mostly, 5k races, and some times during the holidays I stock up on stocking stuffers. While it true that some of the stuff is not worth the discount or groupon price some of the stuff mostly food within the Texas area is more then worth it. Also the nationwide online deals have been great also just have taken longer to ship out. If you are willing to wait then this is a fun sight.
I have had to return every item I have purchased to be used as a gift. Where they get you is, there's only a 14 day period where Groupon holds any responsibility to the product so if the occasion is a few months away and you purchase an item to be used as a gift, too bad for you if it doesn't work outside of those 14 days. They wipe their hands clean of the situation.
Be very cautious of being from Groupon unless it a food iem voucher.
I love their stuff and am generally very satisfied. My only complaint is that they inflate the original retail prices. I can often find the item directly on the designer site listed at 25% less full retail. It is still much cheaper on ideeli, but they lose some credibility by inflating (or allowing designers to inflate) prices on their own site for the inaccurate comparison value.

This guys are getting absolute $#*!ty... the deals they bring on are good to look at but the dealers are almost going out of business, or moving or some excuse... Groupon's customer service sucks too! Have lost almost $100 in deals that I did not get any service off or could recoup. Basically, a write-off

Cute stuff, good deals, but most websites I use have free shipping and I receive items usually within a week. I placed an order for 4 pairs of sandals on the 20th of June, I was shocked when it said that the items will be shipped between 11-17 July. Summer in my city doesn't last very long! I should have just canceled the order at that point. Anyhow, on the 15th of July, one of the items is shipped. The rest still not shipped even though its the 18th. I asked customer service and they say the rest of the items will "most likely" be shipped today. Never going back to this site.

The reason our ship dates are sometimes later than normal is because we do not hold lots of inventory in our warehouses. This keeps the prices lower for our members and allows us time to receive the items from our vendors. The ship windows are an estimate of when the orders will arrive from the vendors plus the time it takes to organize and ship them out to our members. When a shipment arrives late from a vendor, we try as hard as we can to make up the time but occasionally the items are shipped outside the ship window by one or two days. I loved groupon at one point but after this last purchase thats it. I bought those usb cuffs. I like the idea behind it. Took about three weeks but no biggie right. Pluged it in to check the stroage. Here's the problem now it brork inside my slot. The device didnt even connect and brokeinside. I contacted them and got a pre written meesgae from customer service rep. They didnt even read what i wrote them they just saidi can return it. Asked for a manager took them a week to get back to me to only tell me to contact the manufature. I was pissed that after a week that was the best they could do. I wrote back and havent heard from anyone since. They dont care about there customer after the check clears. Dont let the great deals fool you if you get a defective item or have a problem you better have a month to spend sending emails back and forth only to find out your retuen window is gone. Cost me 50 dollar to have the usb removed and fixed since it damgeged the actual slot. Like most of you ive bought stuff and went smooth. Last month, I ordered a pair of shoes and paid the crazy $9.95 shipping charge, which gives you shipping for 30 days after the purchase. The shoes arrived after about 3 weeks and I loved them. During the 30 days I kept my eye out for something else I might like and found another pair of shoes that I wanted to buy. I tried to buy them and immediately they were on hold, then no longer available. So, I added my name to the wait list. Shortly after my 30 days of free shipping expired, I received notification that they were available. Interesting... I decided not to buy them because I'd have to pay another $9.95 in shipping on a $19.99 pair of shoes. The next day they sent me a coupon for $10 off, so I ordered the shoes. When they were arrived, they were a wreck! One shoe had several rhinestones missing and the other was very clearly manufactured incorrectly. I sent an email to customer service which included a photo of the defects. Their response, sorry, throw away the shoes and here's your $9.99 back. Result for me? I paid a net of $9.95 and got NOTHING. So, I now believe their way of making money is actually through the shipping, not through the trash they "sell." I have never run into an online retailer that expects you to pay shipping on defective merchandise. I've made my last purchase. I will be unsubscribing and never looking back. BUYER BEWARE!

I ordered 2 Foscam cameras over a month ago. Only the antennas came. I spoke with Groupon who told me that they knew about the problem and would look into it. I NEVER heard back from anyone. WEEKS later I received an email stating that I should be getting my camera. I responded and asked if I would be getting both since the email referenced camera not cameras. I was told YES, both cameras were on the way. LIAR. Only 1 came. I called and emailed and NEVER heard back from anyone. Customer service was HORRIBLE. They finally decided to give me $20 in groupon dollars after I told them I would never buy anything with Groupon again. I do not believe I have been compensated and this was certainly not worth the time and aggravation. I would NEVER use them.
I know this is a local groupon site and is well known. But it's so limited only to its local people. Peopel in some other countries cannot get that cheap! Pity.
Do not buy anything from groupon goods! I have had very bad experiences with this website - the first one was when I ordered a pair of eyeglass frames. They had several models available and I picked one that I liked. The order went through and 2 weeks later, I get a shipment notification. Upon arrival one week later, I noticed that they were not the frames I ordered - so I printed out the return label and shipped it back. The second time I ordered a fan from this site. Two weeks later, I checked "My groupons" and found that the order was not even listed there. I called their customer service and they informed me that my order has been cancelled because the fan went out of stock! I didn't even receive any email informing me that it was cancelled. So, in conclusion, do not order from groupon goods - at least you can be sure you will get what you need elsewhere!
Really disappointed. My first Groupon purchase was for a food festival. When I arrived at the food festival there was no food included in the price of the ticket. Everyone who was buying a ticket on the door (at only £1 more than my Groupon BTW), was being told specifically food was NOT included however the Groupon did not state this anywhere. This was totally mis-sold and after spending 2 hours with Customer service (emailing and calling) they refused to give any refund.
Run away groupon and the rusty wallace driver experience is scam they give you a code so they know you paid for. They even send you a congrats for registering. I gave it to my son who is a soldier and they are treating him like a criminal
I have been a customer of ideeli for a few years. Now that I am studying for the bar I have started shopping there more as a pick me up. Up until recently my experience had been good. In early June I placed an order for 6 Mikasa dinnerware sets in various colors (red, black and orange). I received them and liked them so much that I decided to order 2 more sets. I ordered one in black and one in orange. They arrived but when I opened the box both sets were black. I emailed Ideeli and they told me that the orange was now waitlisted. I online chatted with a customer service representative, Robert, who frankly I found rude. He was unwilling to extend my return date so that I could keep the black long enough to see if I could get off the waitlist. While I wanted the orange set I didn't want to return the black and ultimately not have a complete set. Of 8. He said and I quote: " The only thing I can suggest is to contact us when you feel you have waited long enough if the other color does not become available." It was off-putting especially since this was the company's mistake.
Luckily 2 days later I receive an email saying the orange was available again so I quickly ordered it. I then proceeded to pack up the black set and take to a UPS store (because the box wouldn't fit in a UPS stand) and returned to Ideeli. Yesterday I received my new order, open it and its ANOTHER black set! NOT orange! I was furious. This time I got a nicer customer representative, but equally ineffective and unhelpful. To make matters worse, the company no longer has the orange color. It's mistake now cost me the item I wanted! The customer rep gave me a $25 credit, which was nice but given the $9.99 shipping you have to pay it doesn't amount to much. I have decided to keep the black set, but I find the whole process disorganized, unprofessional, and the customer service in dire need of training. I used my credit, but the company has lost me as customer. Do better!

Don't waste ur money! Groupon over sells bc they are greedy and then the business's end up getting all the bad feedback! Groupon should care about the clients and try to accommodate them by being more professional and educated when it comes to numbers! My recommendation is to all businesses do ur marketing another way because in the end groupon will end up hurting ur business more than helping it...
I've been ordering from Ideeli for many years & prior to this, I've been very happy. NOT so now! Merchandise arrived broken. I called about 15 times over the course of 10 days and NO ONE returned my calls? I sent 2 emails & am STILL waiting for a reply,

I have spent thousands of dollars on Ideeli over the years. It was my to-go-to place for a bad day at work. I would be glues to my desk at 11:00 AM, I mean don't call me. Recently I have noticed that the quality of there clothes have deteriorated. They have some good sales every once in awhile but it's mostly terrible. Where are they getting these ugly clothes from? Did they change their buyer? It has gotten so bad, I've gone from checking everyday to deleting the App from my phone. If I want ugly clothes I will go to Sears... On the other hand I have never had a terrible experience with shipping. It's always right on time. If you could just get good stuff, maybe I will be back...

STAY AWAY FROM GROUPON GOODS!
I bought an Akribos watch from Groupon for $55 that Groupon claimed was a $445 watch. When it arrived, it had a big red X on the back. I contacted Groupon to ask if this meant it was a reject, and they basically stonewalled me.
Now, approx 7 weeks post-purchase, the finish has worn off the inside of the watch. One MIGHT expect that on a $55 watch, but on a "$445 watch"? Not so much. When I contacted Groupon, they offered me a refund, but refused to even acknowledge that their supplier (and Groupon) sold a piece of junk to me, saying rather that they "We stand by all of the businesses we feature and the deals we offer""
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
