I have been using ideeli for several years now. It the beginning I was pleased. However, the past several orders have been poor experiences so I am not sure what has changed there. The short window for returning an item is not reasonable. I travel for my job and as a result, have missed the ridiculously short time frame for returns. Recently, I bought a set of a luggage that was a killer deal based on the make. Or so I thought. I used the carry on ONE time I did not check it. The wheels broke, the handle unraveled and the piping unraveled. The online chat rep told me that I had to work with the luggage manufacturer to get a replacement set. Uh no thanks, it was junk, I just wanted to return it and get a credit. No, they say. I gave a second piece of luggage from the set a try during a second trip. Hoping it was a fluke. The driver picked the bag up to place it in the trunk and the handle completely broke. At that point it was laughable how bad the product they sold was. Even if I wanted to really shop with them now, I can't as the site is not loading and that's been the case for three days. Glad I am paying a membership fee for poor service and a site that I cant access.
Horrible! Customer service does not exist! I ordered a set of blue bed sheets from them. They decided to send me white since they didn't have any blue sheets. I emailed them and for over 5 days I got nothing but canned responses. Too busy will get back to you.
Finally someone emailed me back and I did send the sheets back over three weeks ago. I still have not received my refund!
I blocked them and put them on the spam list. I will NEVER order from them again!
SOB'S! I purchased a to night getaway to MONT TREMBLANT for 199$, talked to the vendor's reps and they said its and extra 50$ a night for the weekend x2 days fri-sat = 100 + 45$ taxes 145$ +199=345 regular 398$@ 50% groupon! ITS NOT 50% off! Anyways I already knew that, but they had NO dates for me too book and the groupon expires in march 2014, so naturally I called the vendor to get a refund, the vendor replied with "you contact groupon to get a refund" I contacted groupon they were sooooooo RUDE, I couldn't barely understand their language, I asked them to refund me as the voucher was never redeemed and I just purchased it today a few hours ago, they said, "no refund". Im like? Wtf, what do you mean, "no refund", they said, its not refundable? EXCUSE ME? It says in their UNIVERSAL FINE PRINT - "1.2. A refund may be issued if the voucher was not redeemed, expired, or the code was not provided to the Partner." THE VOUCHER WAS JUST PURCHASED TODAY AND NEVER USED! And they wont give me a refund, F-THAT, my fiance went straight to the bank to do a chargeback, they can go straight to hell, every last one of them! NEVER AGAIN! NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR AND they wouldnt let me speak to a manager, can you believe that? TRASH!
Purchased Car Starter Groupon for $149.00. Called to set up appt. And was told it would be an additional 150.00. Groupon refuses to refund my money. I wish I had found this site BEFORE USING Groupon. It is a very expensive lesson for an old lady (75) on a fixed income! STAY AWAY FROM GROUPON!
I ordered a picture from Groupon on December 8th. The tracking information they provided was inadequate, with no tracking #, or delivery service provided. After about 10 days, I checked the details for the shipping information, and it stated it would take 12 business days. On Friday, after Christmas, I tried calling customer service and was put on a 30 minute hold. I had to call back today, the 15th business day, and waited the 30 minutes to speak with a representative. He told me that he was also unable to see any tracking information, or a delivery method, and that he could not even tell if my package was shipped! He said my options were to either keep waiting for a package I did not even know was on the way, or get a refund. Terrible service! How can the company I purchased from not see whether or not my package was even shipped? No tracking number, nothing. I will NEVER buy from Groupon again!
Wow. The negative comments are shocking to me. I've been a loyal customer since the beginning. I have never had any problems with items or service. I once did not receive an item. I told them and was immediately credited for it. All my purchases were in excellent condition and of very high quality. Maggie London, Desigual, Casual Couture, Hale Bob, Joyous & Free and Sue Wong are just some labels I like and have bought from here. I'm a savvy shopper and can see if the garment is made well. I also care about fabric and look at the photos very well for indications of craftsmanship. Ideeli sells high/medium/lower quality items, as does any company. I get so many compliments on my wardrobe and 75% of my wardrobe is from ideeli. I loathe shopping in stores so ideeli and amazon are my go-to shops.

Bought a groupon to Rockwall Deer Processing... shoulda done some research first. So far, the worst processor I have dealt with. I only hope i get my meat back at all. Seriously doubt it will be as ordered since they can never find your order when you call. They tell you they will call you right back and never do. When you call them you have to start over. Been 5 weeks since I dropped it off... no sign of being ready yet. They blow!
The products I have purchased are inferior or they don't work at all. Cannot get in touch with them. I will never order here again its a waste of money. You get better stuff at the Dollar store...
I purchased an e-gift card that was supposed to be delivered on Christmas Day. It's now the 28th. Still no confirmation email, and I can't even check my last order. Forget getting customer service. It is either a chat line or an email to which they will promptly "log your complaints in" and get nothing done. STAY AWAY!

If you didn't receive an order confirmation email, it's possible that the order never fully processed. As soon as an order is placed you're given an order number and the confirmation email is sent out. It does take a few days for a gift card to be emailed out once the order is placed and the confirmation email should provide an expected date when the gift card is expected to be emailed out to the email address given at checkout. Any orders placed are available when you lo into your ideeli account and go to "My Orders." If that information is not there, the order may not have been placed in that account.

I love the site for the huge number of coupons every day. But the discounts is still not so big.
I paid $69 for a Groupon for maid service with Best Maids Phoenix. I have been calling since before the holidays and never get a call back. I also filled out their online form and they never responded. I have been ripped off.
HORRIBLE company... stay away. My product never arrived and no one would give me a straight answer as to when I would receive my product. I had to email and call multiple times with no luck getting a response. The worse part of it all was they were so rude to me on the phone. I will NEVER shop there again... living social is ten times better
Ordered two Google Chromecast Laptops at $129 each on Nov 20th, Tracking shows Awaiting Fulfillment on Nov 21st, Fulfillment in Process Dec 2nd, Awaiting Shipment Dec 7th and received a tracking number on Dec 7th. 1st Call to them on Dec 15th, waiting 45 minutes on hold, and was told that I can cancel the order to get a refund! Told him that I want the item and will not cancel, can you please look into why and when I the item will ship? He said, he has no additional information, and that I can cancel the order! He was not helpful at all and didn't seem to care! Called again 5 or so days later and received the same response, spoke to a supervisor and got absolutely nowhere again! Tried to call again just now on Dec 24th and the hold time is over 1 Hour! Will never but from Groupon Goods again! This was supposed to be a gift! Customer Service is not helpful at all!
How can you not love Groupon... great daily deals and fun stuff to look at in my area. Easy problem resolution on the rare occasion that happens, and an excellent website that is easy to navigate.
Long shipping times, 30 min customer service hold time, Poor quality products. Returns are a big hassle. Stay Away! Buy on eBay or Amazon. I returned a headset because fell out every time I turned my head... no refund and can't get a hold of anybody. #groupon
Just horrible service! I order a product 11/29/13 it is now 12/22/13 When I called in to see where the package was they said don't worry it will be on it's way before Christmas because we are going to expedite the shipping, so I said ok great! Today I recive an email on a Sunday! Saying that they have refunded my purchase and this is after I told my sister I had something coming in the mail for her and that it would be there on Christmas Eve! Go To HELL GROUPON! LYING A#$ HOLES! Now I can't possible get an item shipped to her before Christmas!
WOW - I only wish I had read a few of these online reviews before I used Groupon for the 1st time in September. I completely share the opinion that groupon is a scam. Thankfully it appears I am only out $39 and not more. IRIse Performance in Lenexa KS had a heck of a deal for 1 yr membership - $39 - to drive in business. They had over 300 purchases ($11,700+) and closed their doors. Literally these people took their money and ran. Now despite Groupon's guarantee they have not done a damn thing. I can't get a live person on the phone - even after 30+ minutes. Responses via email seem 1000% generic and clearly NOT from people where English is their first language. This is a total scam. I FOR SURE do NOT want any offer of worthless Groupon Bucks. I will never ever use it again. Their promise isn't worth the papers its printed on - so to speak. What a total scam - probably an international scam out of China or India.
I placed an order Nov 21. I got an email confirming the order however, I never received one for shipping. I emailed them requesting information and I got an automated email saying "oops, it fell through the cracks but it's ready to ship". 2 weeks later, still nothing. I emailed them again and got a blanket response stating "we are super busy but will get back to you ASAP". A month after the order was placed - it was cancelled. I was not notified of it though, I just happened to check.
In the midst of all that, I placed another order for a voucher, only to receive an email stating the fine fine print had changed and the voucher was now only valid on a limited amount of products from the company, as opposed to all stock as was stated when I purchased the voucher.
I have also emailed their "feedback" department and now I'm pretty sure I'm being ignored. I can not and will not recommend this site to anyone.
Buyer beware. Groupon had a deal for a 7 piece jacquard bedding set, I purchased 2 of them in a specific color. When it was delivered (in 2 packages), it was the wrong color. I immediately called their customer support and after waiting a while on phone, finally got a live person. I explained the situation to him and he advised me that he would be sending me usps return label for the items. He said that I should print the same one label twice and use it on both packages. I don't work for the post office or nothing but I know this is not doable. I called them again and spoke to another person who advised that she would be sending me an email within minutes with either 2 new mailing labels or an extra mailing label to be used alongside the one I already received (she wasn't sure what I would be receiving). I hung up the phone in good faith and after waiting over 2 hours for this label, called again. Spoke to the 3rd person who said she wasn't sure why I was sent the same label for 2 packages and that she was going to speak to a manager about this. Came back saying my options were to 1) ship the items back in one box (clearly, the times were 2 big for one box which is why groupon sent them to me in 2 separate packages) or 2) she would pass this along to the groupon goods team to resolve. According to her, she had no idea who this team was and all she knew to do was submit a ticket which would be forwarded to them for response within 3 business days. It's the holiday season, I am out money, have to go look for new gifts for the intended recipients of this and then have to deal with groupon expecting me to use 1 shipping label for 2 separate packages. I am now waiting to see if/when I will hear back from the groupon goods team on this. I don't recall having such difficulty returning an item (as a result of the shipper's error). Keeping fingers crossed that I can be rid of these bedding items sooner than later. As far as groupon is concerned, proceed with caution.
I ordered a straightening iron that was originally priced at $200 and got it for... I don't remember, really low. It was my first purchase through groupon. It works! It's a great iron and it came w/ a heat protecting mask for the hair and a travel bag with lining inside so that the bag doesn't get burned. Then I purchased food coupons where you buy $40 worth of food for $10 at Johnny Rockets. That was valid and so far, no complaints. There was an offer that you can get up to $120 worth of products from NuMe Products for $15. I did pay $15 which then redirected me to their website. With this particular offer, you basically buy a $15 gift card or coupon so it only takes $15 off anything you buy. I just wanted a curling wand and thought I could buy it for $15 but instead, I'd have to pay $49 to make up the difference. So I got a refund (Credit) and told them I can buy a curling wand through Amazon and it wouldn't cost me that much. They replied very quickly and their refund policy is right there on your receipt- They honor you with a refund within 7 days of purchase. Their customer service was pretty good, online that is. I've never had to call. So far my experience has been really good with Groupon as a consumer.

Wow I guess I've been a Groupon customer for 2 years now! I absolutely LOVE Groupon. I have purchased 1 product that did not work at all, and they apologized & quickly provided me with a full refund before I even asked. I have purchased tickets to many events: Kevin Hart comedy shows, fairs, and more food groupons. I highly recommend them, even if they do contribute to Planned Parenthood lol.- December 2015
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.

The reason our return window is within 21 days of shipping is due to the nature of our site being flash sales.
