I ordered 2 pairs of shoes from Ideel.com and discovered that they had charged my credit card 3 times! Fortunately I am very diligent with checking my card balances and was able to have my bank stop the charges before Ideel got paid more than the cost of the purchase. I did contract customer service (live chat was the only option listed) and they apologized profusely via chat but said it was a "technical glitch". The shoes arrived and they were perfect! I love them and overall I am happy with my purchase but I feel very uncomfortable ordering anything else from Ideel.com. I really wish that there was a customer service phone number listed on their site as it feels very impersonal to have such a big issue and not have a human being to speak to.
Groupon started off as a site with great deals. Now the deals are not nearly as good (I think because companies have figured out and it is not a good deal on their end). For instance, I once saw a coupon for a dinner for two for $59 that was $1 off the regular price for $60. I think I would rather spend the extra $1 for the freedom to go when I want to go and have an expiration on my Groupon. There are some good finds from time to time... but now it often goes to my spam folder...
They have great deals... It has all the information you may need before you decide to make a purchase. Even when I love its food deals now I am trying Restaurant.com too. I would recommend Groupon as a secure site.
I bought a voucher from them, I had 3 month ahead to use it, then after 2 months I tried to get in touch with the company which was a beauty salon, they did not respond my phone calls. So I emailed them about the issue, first time no response! Second time they told me that they are sorry for not informing me, the beauty salon just closed! And offer me with my money back.
But a thing is they should be responsible for what they offered, notify me by mail or phone call and automatically repay me, not waiting till I email them 2 times!
I ordered a sofa bed for grandparents it didn't arrive when it was due to but 2 days later XDP delivery company turn up with wrong package dressing table! Phone groupon who said we have to wait 3 days till they can process a refund! But we wanted the sofa bed they said they can't re-delivery it has to be refunded then re-ordered but deal has now finished totally appalling service
They false advertised flights and accommodation. And when we went to cancel i had to speak to 5 people and the situation wasn't even resolved i had to go to the bank and get them to get my money back. While talking to one of the costumer service people i couldnt believe what they said to me. Instead of just saying ill give me a refund the rude lady said "cant you borrow money of family members". I have not been so shocked in my life that someone would say that. What type of service is this!..
I purchased an SD card that was defective and since the 14 days had passed they refused a return. I understand a regular return but if a product is defective that may not always be apparent within 14 days.
Let me first say that I have been a customer of ideeli/ideel for at least 4 years, and have only had occasion to contact customer service since they changed to ideel. Since then the ordering and shipping policies have changed for the much, much worse. The merchandise is cute and well-priced but if you have even a tiny problem with your order, do not expect any help at all. I am currently trying to change the shipping address on my package (of over $250 of items) because paypal provided an old address. The items have not shipped out yet, and absolutely no one at ideel customer service will even attempt to help me with the problem! I am going to be charged for these items and they are going to ship them to an address they are well aware is not mine because they are not willing to change the address after my order is placed! This is pure insanity... they will lose their merchandise, any money they would have made after I recoup from my credit card, and finally my business. I just don't understand a company that is willing to operate like this.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on SiteJabber. One of the Customer Service supervisors spoke with you and should have been able to help resolve this issue. Since your previous address was used in PayPal, and previously on Ideel, it defaulted to that address and I'm really sorry about that inconvenience. The reason the representatives couldn't make the requested change was because the item was in our fulfillment center with the shipping label created waiting to be picked up by UPS. I know that the supervisor you spoke with was able to make this change since the package shipped out UPS ground, as it was over 10 lbs. If you check the tracking now you'll see that she was able to request the address change and UPS is processing the shipment to go to your current address and not the previous one.
To prevent this from happening, please make sure to check the order confirmation email within 2 hours of placing the order. During that timeframe the address can be changed through your account or a member of our customer service team can assist with this through Live Chat. The good news is that you can save a lot of money. The bad news is that most bargains are in big cities. I live in a small city. I don't want deals on the other side of the big city. I want to see deals in or near my zip code
Groupon has been a savior multiple times! There are GREAT deals there & it's extremelt conveniant with the app. So happy with it! Definitely worth the FREE download!
They put sky rocket tag prices on the items to make you think that they're giving you
A good deal.Its a good deal for people that don't know about quality.

I had sent him the order number for follow-up, but he same as their customer services, never get back to you!
I tried to call several times within the 24hours and left msgs with order number after missed their call, but never have someone answered / returned my calls! And they cancelled my order right after I missed their call. I never had any problems on any other orders from other sites.

Thanks for sharing your feedback here on SiteJabber. I apologize that our Loss Prevention team canceled the order before being able to speak with you. They call for many reasons and without having the order information I'm unable to know why they needed to reach out and verify this order. As an online retailer we sometimes have to cancel an order that is not verified and since we are a member's only website, we can cancel an order if our Loss Prevention team is unable to verify it.
If you left a message with the information requested in the voicemail during the timeframe required, Loss Prevention should have been able to use that information to pass along the order for fulfillment. Failure to provide the requested information would have resulted in the cancellation and I'm terribly sorry for that inconvenience.
If you can provide me with the order number for the canceled order, I'd like to work with our Loss Prevention department to find out what happened. I can also check to see if this item is still available for reorder, if you'd like me to check for that. I look forward to hearing back from you and resolving this issue.

Groupon is pretty good, there are some wicker offers on there sometimes.
I spend WAY too much money on this site! I check groupon before doing anything! It makes for fun date nights, just hop on and click. Twice I have had to return items and it couldn't be easier. Great service, great company.
I love their deals! Whether it is for a night out with the family or a romantic date for two groupon always comes in handy, thanks!
Doesnt deserve even 1 star. I ordered an item through mobile app, didnt ask me to add shipping address, i change my billing address, that was possible, but because their app doesnt work properly, the item will be send the previous address. I was not able to change or do anything with after just a few hours of purchasing it. The customer service sucks! They told me to go to my previous address(different state) and try to get the item. They were not able to refund me my money. Never ever
Great items, include any thing you may want at a Special price. Returning items Simple & Easy, no fuss.

Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.

Thanks for reviewing us on SiteJabber. I'm really sorry for any confusion about this issue. When you place an order, we issue a temporary authorization hold on your card for the amount of your purchase. This hold is placed to verify that your card has not been reported as lost or stolen, and that the card is valid. The hold will drop off of your card within 3 to 5 business days and your card won't be charged until your order ships. In this case, the system authorized your card since our fulfillment center was attempting to ship the items. They made two attempts before actually shipping it out, and had to reauthorize due to the authorization holds being void after 48 hours. I do apologize that this wasn't explained to you previously.
